Try deep relaxation techniques while visualizing something peaceful. WILDS are easier to attain then DILD or MILD. |

Not necessarily. While some people do find WILDs easier, the DILD technique is basically about awareness and whether you can really question if you're dreaming or not. |

some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

One thing that really helps me for RCs is that I have an app on my Droid called Reality Test Lite it makes a txt msg sound and asks you to check if you're dreaming it gives you options for RCs like math, clock, and word association (the nice thing about this is if you have the checks scheduled right you will hear the sound in your sleep). |

Have a specific task in mind and get excited about it. Remind yourself of the plan before going to bed. Try WBTB too. |

I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.
I think I will try a WILD over the break. I sort of half tried one before. It was before I slept at all, and I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere, but I wanted to see how much I could relax. My fingers started tingling, which is a good sign I guess. The only thing I am moderately worried about is crap your pants hypnagogic imagery.
