As we know, MILD is based on repeating a mantra before falling asleep. But, after using it for a while, it becomes something 'standard'. You start doing it autimatically without thinking bout it too much. However, this is against the purpose of the mantra. So that begs the question: 'how to keep using MILD without it becoming standard and automatic?' So this is what I thought of: using TWO mantra's. You don't use them 1-2-1-2-1-2..., u use them in a random order. By doing that, you keep thinking about the mantras and it would be nearly impossible to do it 'automaticly', as you need to keep randomly switching between them. |

Srry bout not replying in the past few days, I've been pretty busy. It did in fact work. When I was using 1 mantra, I haven't had a LD or a chance at LD for about 20 days. Since I've started using this, I've had about 3 LD-chances (missed them all, but that'll change). It is possible to randomly switch between them absentmindly, but it's definitely harder than to use 1 at the time absentmindedly. Guess I can't escape working for my LD's |

The purpose of MILD is to hold your mind on the intention to have a lucid dream. Mantras need not have any part in that, and often lead to the sorts of problems you're running into. It's just the thought. You don't even need to have it so specifically verbalized. |

Whenever I MILD I don't use a set mantra. I use many sayings, and sometimes I'll use a saying I haven't even thought of before it'll just come to me in the moment. My favorite sayings are directed to my subconscious such as: "My subconscious will help me to lucid dream" "My subconscious will present me with many dream signs" "My subconscious enjoys lucid dreaming" etc. The first night I used these I had 3 lucids. Try different things to see what works for you. And as Supernova already stated, the key is to have the intention of lucid dreaming the very last thing on your mind before sleeping. |

I don't use a set mantra either. I say multiple ones differently every night |

flowers shall grow

and that is eternity.

I've recently been trying MILD, I used a mantra and intentionally started thinking it absentmindedly while |
