Thread: Putting your hands over your head to achieve lucidity?

Many people get lucid without the hand position, so why would your hands being above your head trigger one? You may as well say sleeping with only one sock on at night will trigger a lucid. By all means, try it out, I'm not saying you are incorrect or idiotic for trying this, I just struggle to see the reasoning behind this.

I do this all the time... doesn't work for me, unless you're talking about putting your hands on your face while you sleep, which I think would be pointless and uncomfortable.

Hmm, well, that makes one think.
You know how if you're trying to WILD etc, you lie down in a comfortable position? Maybe in this case, the uncomfortable position is key?
I mean, your mind will keep going back to the face that it wants to change position, therefore keeping it awake, whereas your body doesn't care too much, so it might just fall asleep.
Which, as you know results in Sleep Paralysis.

Just a thought.
