When you guys do reality checks, do you say to yourself "Am I dreaming" or "nope this isn't a dream"? |

When I'm doing a RC, I always asking myself "Am I dreaming? Is this a dream?". |

I use reality checks to confirm that I am or am not dreaming. They are very poor induction techniques. You really should look at Puffin's guide about sporadic awareness and King Yoshi's guide about all day awareness. It's about being aware as to what real life feels like that causes lucidity, not passively counting your fingers or plugging your nose. |

Pls be patient and stop losing your mind!
When doing your RCs, you want to be 50/50, or on the fence as to whether or not you believe you're dreaming. You don't want to make any assumptions until you do the RC and get a result from it. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I've read in a couple different guides that it's better to assume you're dreaming every time you do a RC. That way you'll be more skeptical and thorough during your RC. There's no harm in being extra cautious. Just make sure you don't end up like Maud in Inception... Hahaha |
