Always, no sometimes think it's me,
But you know I know when it's a dream
I think I know I mean a yes
But it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree

Well I've been working on the SAT if you are familiar with that for the past week or so now, and I've been integrating WBTBs into my MILDs. I don't have any intention of waking up though, it just seemed to start happening a few days ago |

It seems you are just more aware of when you wake up now, as everyone wakes up during the night. |
|
Everyone wakes up after every sleep cycle (and thus after each dream). Most people just fall back asleep within a few seconds without realizing that they have woken up. It is actually a good thing that you became aware of it. It gives opportunities to reconfirm mantra's, write in your DJ, WBTB-WILD, DEILD, ... There's something in it for every technique |
|
Ah ok that's good |
|
Since you are waking so often during a night, maybe you could check THIS LINK, as this method could be of use for you. |
|
Please bear with me . |

I don't wake at all, what does that mean? Or do i wake just i don't remember it? Why is my memory and awareness so incy wincy whenever i go to bed... Its not what i want, yet its happening, you guys seem like you are over-riding your own biology but i have no idea how. |

You wake up a few times during the night, like after a dream ends, however most of the time people will fall back asleep and forget about it. If you notice when you wake up during the night often, I recommend you look into the FILD and DEILD techniques, they could benefit you immensely and are perfect for people like you. FILD happens to be the most reliable technique for me, however I've had some problems noticing when I wake up. The first time I wanted to try it I did it perfectly, but it dosent happen as often for me anymore. If you can give any tips for how you did this it would be great, from what you said it seems like you only worked on improving recall though? |

Lucid Dreaming since 3/30/10
do you recommend that i buy some hardware to track my sleep? Is this a step closer to having lucids and a more fullfilled life? I seek Lucid dreams because i seek fullfillment, freedom and understanding of myself. Perhaps investing some money into this is worthwhile. |

And psychiatry looks at both physical and mental aspects of the human condition, not like psychology only looking at the mental, so nerrr fOrceez |

Sounds like you were doing great :O The trick to DEILD is a combination of laying perfectly still and going into a free-floating state of mind (you notice your thoughts, but you don't know what they are saying. It's pretty much like seeing a flow or text but not recognizing or trying to recognize them). The hard thing with that is that you need to stay aware while not recognizing the thoughts. It takes some time to figure it out, but it is certainly useful. And I agree, SAT is a great technique. |

Ah finally someone else that knows SAT, now I don't sound like a mad raving loony person |

I meditated before i went to sleep , and i was waiting there for what seemed an eternity .. my mental state was changing, everything was becoming black and my sense of body disappearing completely. I felt warm inside and all sounds from the external world were sounded much different to me, like deeper and distorted. But i got eventually unpatient and doubting that anything was happening to me besides relaxation... So then i curled up under my blankets and relaxed all my neck muscles etc, that way my body went to sleep like normal. I did dream a lot but my dreams are so confusing that its a headache to try and recall all of it |
