I'm sorry, I don't use an alarm and I have never tried FILD. But it sounds interesting. |

One of my favorite methods of lucid induction is the FILD method, however lately I have been having problems waking up naturally. Now I am trying to find a way to do FILD without having to rely on waking up in the middle of the night spontaneously, and have an idea. |

Check out CrazyInsane's CANWILD method here. What I do is wake up for a WBTB and then turn on an mp3 that is 30 minutes of silence followed by a beeping sound. I just use my PSP and keep it near my bedside so I can quickly turn on the mp3 and go back to sleep. 30 minutes later the beep goes off and, ideally, I should wake up without moving. |

Like Dino said if you are struggling to wake up naturally then either wake up unnaturally or try a different technique. |

As DinoSawr said, the CANWILD technique is VERY useful. I have found great success with it. A big issue with that is finding some sort of app or device that will play a short sound and turn off. However, if you have a phone with calendar alerts or reminders, you can set a short (2-3 second) sound to go off at the right time. With a little time, you'll find the precise time in your sleep schedule and volume needed to just barely wake you up. If you get it right, you can basically induce a DEILD rather than relying on possibly waking up after a dream. |

We were always dreaming of how it was going to be.
Longest chain of DEILDs: [5] WILD[X] DILD[X] DEILD[X] OBE[X] Fly[X] Bend elements[] Task of the Month/Year[] Hang out with real-life people[X] Summon a random DC[] Talk to a DC consciously[X] Find my dream guide[] Have complete control[] Realize that there is no spoon[]
And this because I love it:
I'm reading it now. I do remember this method, and for a while I was trying it. After searching for an app on my ipod that had an auto-turn off alarm, I began experimenting. I spent a few days trying to find a setting where it wouldn't go on for too long or loud, or too soft and short. While I tried to find that combination my ipod broke =( . Anyway it says I can do this for PC, does anyone know if I will have to keep it open all night? |
