I can see you sleep through your bedroom window. You're killing yourself with lucid dreaming.
If you only sleep 4 hours... well all i say is don't place your hopes high. |

I realize that i'm dreaming.
I realize that i'm dreaming.
I realize that i'm dreaming.

How do you feel with only 3 hours of sleep per day? Unless you need very little sleep, you should do something to sleep longer at first. I think that your insomnia is bad enough to consult a doctor. |

DILD: 123 ; WILD: 10 ; DEILD: 9
I'm not an expert at lucid dreaming but i gained awareness and control over my dream once i looked in a mirror at myself, you don't have to leave your dream or wake up to begin lucid dreaming. You can just find a mirror and look at yourself then BAM, you're in control. |

Research MILD... this is good for non-REM lucids. Welcome to the forum! |

Basically all methods except dild and mild require waking up at night. However you could try the Cat technique which supposedly works very well, or you could try out Deild becuase there is no real loss of sleep once you have learned how to do it. Personally I find Deild excellent. I wouldn't go near Wild as was suggested earlier cause1) its hard 2)a lot of loss of sleep 3) If you consitently fail you might lose hope. Good Luck |

I , too, have very bad insomnia. I just posted a free MP3 download for progressive muscle relaxation at our website here. Try it out... it might help you sleep. |

If you can't wake during the night, you can try WILD or MILD during an afternoon nap. You might have to adjust the timing to find a time when you dream. |
