It sounds like a WILD, but I've never heard of anyone doing it that quickly before. Have you asked her about it yet? |

Hi Lucid dreamers, i was wondering what method my sister uses when she lucid dreams, she lays on her back then thinks of things she does after about 1 minute she will be sleeping (i can see her eyes moving as if she was looking around) it will only last a minute she mostly has nightmares doing this, such as seeing a tall black man sitting at the end of the room |

I got a few spiritual friends how say they astral project/ OBE/ lucid dream in just a minute by visualizing a scene and even though it's not as vivid as a REM dream at first, they can increase the stimuli they get and make the experience just as vivid. The difference between this and dreaming though is that they choose when they want in and when they want out. I am jealous... |

Note that i'm not assuming there's something wrong with your sister |

So she does visualizations? If so, 1 minute is very impressive. Or does she fall asleep and enter REM sleep quickly and then recognize that she is in a dream? |

Falls asleep in one minute, sees black dudes in her room and you can see her eyes moving while she's asleep? |

My sister has narcolepsy and cataplexy, narcoleptics tend to reach REM stage much quicker than those who don't have it. She is too afraid to try lucid draeming, because she thinks it may provoke her cataplexy (which is a dream like state that causes muscle paralysis and is very scary for those who it happens to.) |
