Ever slept all day to get lucids?

I woke this-morning, disappointed that I had not had a lucid dream. I decided that I would stay in be until I had one, that I WOULD have one. I went back to sleep, and had one straight away. After I woke up again, I decided that I would like another one, but I lay in bed for 2 hours trying to get back to sleep, and couldn't.

I want to know if anyone has managed to sleep/nap all day having lucids (after sleeping the night before)? I am going to try today, I woke at 9:30am, it is 11:30am and I am going to do a few chores then go back to bed. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight after, as I won't be tired, but I won't get another chance to do this until next weekend. I hope I can get to sleep !

If I am having luck with getting fun LDs and I have nothing else to do, I have spent between 14-16 hours in bed having LDs. I rarely do this anymore as my waking life is often cooler than LDs so I do not mind getting out of bed.

I'm curious to know what you consider to be cooler than a lucid? (and having the ability to fly, teleport, visit other planets, have your choice of women etc). Have you mastered the art of conscious manifestation?

i wish i could sleep during the day like that. it can only happen if i'm extremely sleep deprived...otherwise, i get <6 hours of sleep at night and i cannot fall asleep unless i'm absolutely tired. I love the idea and would love to sleep more for the sake of sleep itself, let alone LD's.
      not happening though.

Not really, but I do sometimes prolong my sleep time during weekends etc in an attempt to become lucid.

I have also deliberately fallen asleep right after waking up from dreams that have made me feel sad for whatever reasons - I refuse to start the day with an unpleasant and saddening dream fresh in my memory.
