DILDs are my main method and have been how I've gotten lucid naturally my whole life; usually if it's not any of my dream signs I can go lucid simply by the feeling of being in a dream (it's different than the feeling of being in waking life, you know?). While I do RC whenever something feels off or something odd has happened I usually don't have to--often I know I'm dreaming the moment I start suspecting it. I've also been using autosuggestion to enforce waking up consciously briefly in the middle of the night (don't need alarms)--these are my doors for WILDs or DEILDs. A good 80% of the time I'm successful with these, although they don't happen as often. I also use a program called Subliminal Blaster for autosuggestion and at the same time am slowly starting to use mantras before going to sleep (MILD), and I think both of these are helping quite a bit.

So, one of everything really. But mostly DILDs and less often WILDs.

My name is Max. I write ambient music and play video games.
      Currently inactive.

      65% DILDs, 30% DEILDs, 5% WILDs.

I'm on a dry spell now, after taking a break, but when I was LDing more or less regularly what worked was MILD (with visualizations of recognizing the dream). I actually did that even with most of my RCs during daytime, so probably was a form of dream incubation as well. Oh, and WBTB helped a lot.

Several people here said: "I just realize I'm dreaming"
I would like to ask them, what do you do to get that? How do you train during the day?

I am also in a dry spell right now, and I took a break and now done with it and ready to rumble. I also use MILD, WBTB, RC,etc.
Also I wonder how some LDers just realize their dreaming, it has never happened with me. I would like to know how.

I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.

All of my lucid dreams were the result of the sudden realization that the environment surrounding me is nothing but a dream, either by remembering that it hadn't been long since I've slept, something strange and out of place is occurring or just out of the blue. A DILD basically

There is no real pattern with me. Sometimes I randomly RC (because of RL realitiy checks I guess). Sometimes I mention the fact that I'm dreaming to a DC and become lucid from there. Sometimes I notice something is wrong with the settings, although I can miss other strange things in the same scene. Often times I'll become suspicious of dreaming then use an RC to confirm it. There's also times when the dream will straight up tell me such as a HUD message saying "Lucid dream".

As far as actual methods go, nothing seems to increase the amount of LD's I have by that much.

I usually become lucid just from starting to pay attention to my surroundings and that gives me lucidity. A good rule of thumb is, if you're unsure whether you're in a dream or not, then you are in a dream. Or at least, that works for me. The other night I actually did three reality checks (looking at hands, pushing finger through palm, pinching nose) before one gave me the 'dream' result (looking at a watch)... so reality checks can really be very unreliable.
