And as for motivation, does it happen to you guys too that once you're having an LD you can't remember a single thing you were planning to do so you just end up flying or making out with someone?
Must be a coincidence :/, but congrats!
Yes it happens a lot. Practice during the day:
visualize becoming lucid and doing your goal. MILD helps too, and I saw that the best think is if you do the Reflection-Intention, also known as Tholey's combined technique!
I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.

Well, I went to bed at 2 AM last night and woke up at 10 AM (a few minutes ago, in fact), and I believe I got something that could count as a short lucid dream last night.
I was watching some weird imagery from a SNES video game - I believe it was Super Metroid (awesome game by the way, I am impressed) - and there was this blue long object that made parabolic jumps on the ceiling, defying gravity.
Then I said to myself "yep, everything is defying the laws of nature, so now I can say with confidence that I am dreaming".
Then I found myself in bed, struggling to get up, and then I suddenly panted and found myself in waking life.

I think this could've been a brief lucid False Awakening that I quickly woke up from.

Did you feel that the memory of the realization is clearer than the memory of the past events of the dream?

Hm I'm not sure - it's definitely one of my most vivid memories, although I do recall parts of the other dreams quite vividly as well.

I'd say it's a LD. That realization, especially in an aware dream, probably means lucidity, especially that it was in the last few aware moments of a REM cycle. So yes , a LD! Congrats!

      Thank you.
It does seem like the amount of time I sleep in one night is very important in my case, I seem to get lucid dreams much more easily if I sleep for at least 8 hours.
