Lightbulb I need help regaining Lucidity

A quick story of my Lucid Dreaming career.

I tried it a few months ago, and managed to have a full lucid dream. Was able to control EVERYTHING, from summoning people to flying and throwing fireballs.
From then onward, every time I would have a lucid dream, I wouldn't be able to control it, every dream I would have less control, up to the point I am aware that I am dreaming, but I cannot even control my own actions.

This culminated with my ability to Lucid Dream to completely disappear.

I haven't had a Lucid Dream in weeks now, and no matter how I try, I eventually fall back asleep, with no success in attaining lucidity.

Is there anything I can do to help me be able to have lucid dreams again?
I have amazing dream recall, i remember literally every dream every night, even if there is more than one dream per night.
It's just that my ability to become lucid simply disappeared.

      Please help!

This is somewhat strange; I've never heard of anyone experiencing anything like this. The best advice I could pass on to you is to apply a Mantra, like in the MILD technique. (This is why I love the MILD technique, it's so versatile and you can focus your mantra on whatever you need to.) So your new mantra could be something such as "In my dreams, I lucid and I am In control."

      I will try this JadeGreen

I try every night to attain lucidity, obviously I am aware I won't be able to do it every day, but not being able to do it ever is kind of disappointing

Hi ! Let me ask you if you have this problem with WILDS too ( in case you try WILD )

I would say you have been having low level lucidity dreams. Because good lucidity means some degree of freedom

That happens to me and everyone, i think. Semi-lucids are closer to lucidity than nonlucids. So far so good ! But the problem is that we can be easily fooled into believing what we had was a lucid dream. And then we stop putting effort to develop our skills

I mean, it's not important to know you are dreaming if you can´t reach some degree of clarity.

How can we do that ? I think one has to have a very clear recognition of the dream state, and then at least some initial stabilization plan to access our memories and waking life awareness. Then it´s matter of vigilance

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

I get a slight suspicion that like what VagalTone had mentioned, you may not be fully lucid when you experience these restraints. If you are completely conscious in a dream when this is happening, you need to practice grounding/stabilizing yourself more completely within the dream. This could be yes, a mantra, or even just sitting down in the dream (if possible) and allowing your mind to take control of the dream. You'll really have to try to grasp your mobility and other functions consciously if you are to get over this little hump, in my opinion. Props to you for having such a vivid dream recall though, lots of people wish that they are able to remember more than 1 dream a night! Anyways, hope this will help you out a bit, good luck!

Hey, thanks all of you for your replies!

Right, so it means I'm having low lucidity dreams, sure, I guess I understand that. I've read about lucidity levels aswell, but what bothers me the most was that the first lucid dream I ever had seemed like a fully lucid dream. As I said, I could literally do anything I thought about during this dream.
For example, on my first lucid dream ever (achieved with the FILD Technique) I got up from my room, went out the window into the garden, looked to the floor, looked to the sky, and blasted away Neo-style, and headed to New York. After a while, I teleported back home, summoned my own version of the Ironman armor, and blasted my whole house away xD

And that was the only time I had full control. On my second lucid dream ever, I tried to go through a wall, only to hit it with nothing happening. Flying was something I couldn't do, I could simply float like a hovercraft.
I've been trying lately to achieve some degree of lucidity, but all attempts have failed for a while. Also I am trying the MILD technique JadeGreen suggested, but it seems no results are happening (although I know it can take some time).

So, TL;DR: First Lucid dream ever I had full control, from then onward I progressively lose control up to the point I have none.

      Update guys:

I've regained the ability to maintain consciousness while attempting WILD, and I was able to enter SP, and have all the hallucinations SP brings. As bad as it sounds, I consider this as an improvement and a step in the right direction to recover my Lucid Dreaming ability.
I could use some tips in trying to control Sleep Paralysis, as I've read we can use it as a gate to the dreamworld, if anyone is willing to share

      Thanks for reading!

Sounds somehow, that you only try it by WILD - and maybe you get back into it, with this experience on the edge of sleep.
But maybe you could profit from doing a bit of the classical DILD techs as well.
Not to disappoint you - but you have many many dreams per night - more like ten, so remembering "even more than one" is actually very few.
      Good luck!
