Rehearsing becoming lucid in mind before falling asleep.

I wrote before when i started to get better success in lucid dreaming that i used only itention of having lucid dreams. I visualized in my head my previous dream and becoming lucid and doing my lucid dream goal. I did it few time and i went to sleep and this seemed to cause me to realize im dreaming much more often. I also notices that the strong thoughts you have before going to sleep seem to manifest themself somehow in a dream. So i post this once more that visualizing yourself becoming lucid in a previous dream will increase (in my experience) your lucidity and recall.

I have this technique which is intention or auto suggestion based technique i use with "wake back to bed". So when i wake up i sit up and visualize myself in a previous dream and imagine that i become lucid and go doing my dream goal and then continue my sleep. It seems that allmost always work when i do it properly.
If you think about it athleacs also use visualization to get prepared for upcoming match so i want people to try if it works for them since i have said about this more than enough in this forum but nobody have seemed to pay attention to it. Maybe it just then works for me but try it before choosing its not for you.
This is the only technique i have discovered myself to work really well. Rest of the methods and techniques are already in this forum as offical methods.

      HI Seltiez

What do you mean when you say "when i wake up i sit up and visualize myself in a previous dream and imagine that i become lucid"? The "I become lucid" part? Do you mean that it's literally a "Wow! This is a dream!" moment, or something else?
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

It's great to rehearse becoming lucid at any time! It's a great daytime practice, too. It also helps to cement a stabilization/goal checking ritual so you don't suffer the "I"m lucid! What should I do!?" problem.

WBTB. I sleep 4-6 hours and when i wake up i sit up and start visualizing my previous dream. Then i start imagining me becoming lucid in it at doing my dream goal. After i have rehearsed becoming lucid in my head few times i got back to sleep. Usually i try to wild but even though i fail just building intentio by visualizign seems to be enough to increase my lucidity.

Yeah it is really good for remebering dream goals as well.
Doing this before going to sleep or with WBTB seems to have really positive impact on lucid dreaming. Its same when people have spoken in this forum about future intention. By visualizing it and putting a lot of thought into becoming lucid before going to sleep seems to carry on to dream. Like i said athleacs like boxers as myself use visualization before we actually make the move. I always think possible opening and possible hits i could take by visualizing and when that certain possible situation come i imiedettally react to that situation because i was prepared. So yeah its propably really good to do it few times troughout the day.

      seated MILD ?
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

Kind of. When i wake up i sit up,visualize becoming lucid, do the dream goal, repeat and then i lay down and fall asleep. I usually try wild or matra while falling asleep to increase the chances even more.
