yes, for the 1 week of fall break i had to try this tech, i had 4 successful WILD's. As for the anchor, i do it without an external anchor, since i find it interfers with the cycles. It's up to you, but i haven't succeeded with an anchor. Tell me how it goes, though. Looking forward to some feedback.

Important: If you wish to use an anchor, i highly recommend sagious' mantra method. Its the only one that i found useful on my first 2 attempts. When i say anchor earlier in this post, i mean external reference or "rock". Internal ones are perfectly acceptable.
