Hey there, |
From what I understand, WILD is so effective because the dream transition is such a powerful dream sign. But, WILD requires you to remain conscious until the transition occurs, which creates the tricky prospect of falling asleep while remaining conscious. |

Hey there, |
I tried my idea last night but it didn't work. |
I find that trying anything new when it comes to lucid dreaming takes a bit of time. Like the mind has to adjust to the new idea. That said, it doesn't work 100% of the time either. Sometimes new hypnagogics will come and I'll just lie awake until I turn over and give up. Sometimes sleep will hit me too fast before I can good and well focus. But it works often enough to make it worthwhile doing |

Did this become the "stare" technique you mentioned in this thread? |
No, this is different. I guess I'll make a new thread of the stare technique. I've been using it again lately with some success. |
I feel like this technique could work on the basis of two things; awarness and intent. I also belive I saw a youtube video on something similar to this, but never actually tried it out. |
