[I woke up, but didn't move. I heard about doing a DEILD, so I attempted it. I kept my eyes closed, didn't move a muscle, and began to imagine my last dream scene..but at the same time, I was imagining my room and how my bed was put together: first the posts, then the quilt, then the poster above my bed. At that time, I started feeling vibrations (first time this has happened). While they were happening, I sat up and stopped. I opened my eyes and then did the reality check where I put my right finger through the palm of my left hand, and it went through.]

Definitely an odd feeling to think you're completely awake but you know your in a dream..It's the most vivid dream I've had yet..and my first DEILD as well. The thing is..I read about Astral Projection the night before this dream so subconsciously, I thought that I attempted a projection. I thought all the rules of projection applied, but when I woke up I realized that it was just a lucid dream. [I've never had an AP]. I used the passive method used in the dream control tutorial, and it worked. But because I thought it was an AP, I didn't think I could control things without having a consequence. For some reason, because I read about evil spirits and what not in the AP realm, and even though I don't believe in it, I still thought i was in AP-land. Anyways, has that ever happened to you? Is this normal? How can I begin to distinguish the differences subconsciously so that I don't mix them up?
