      daily techniques for lucid dreams

Cool forum It seems to be goldmine on everything lucid! hi I was just interested in trying to get my dreams as lucid as possible and have heard about lucid affirmations and such people do throughout the day which helps trigger or enhance lucid dreams at bedtime and wondered if there was a specific one or bunch of these types of techniques with the highest success rate? if any.

      Thx all.

Hi and welcome! There are others here with much more experience than me but I get there impression there's not one set of "best techniques" that will work for everyone because people's brains work differently. Anything that gets you thinking about lucid dreaming and dreams regularly ought to help. I think with affirmations they have to be meaningful to you. Maybe someone will be along with some suggestions. Otherwise I'd keep experimenting with different things to find what works for you. I think it's important not to get bored with whatever technique you have.

Lucidity is much more about who you are than what you do. The technique proponents will tell you otherwise, but my experience (and that of authors like Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche (TWR) and Andrew Holecek) is that how we "be" during waking determines how we "be" in night-time dreams. In other words, to continually boost your dreaming lucidity, aim for continually brighter, stronger, longer lucidity during the day.
