Hi everyone, |

Hi everyone, |
|
What I do in bed before falling asleep, I keep repeating to myself I will remember to do RCs and I affirm that I will become lucid, without focusing too hard on it. |
|
<div align="center">"Could we but mould our dreams at will,
And keep them free from harm or ill,
How pleasant it would be,
To deem our waking hours but dreams,
And that, our life which now but seems
A baseless fantasy."

I don't have a cellphone, and i think something quiet probably won't wake me. Thanks though, I don't usually do RCs, I just used to realise in my dream without them. Maybe I should start... |
|
Ever since I started slitting my wrists my lucid dream count has doubled, but this technique is not as safe as it sounds if you are pregnant or may become pregnant so be careful. |

THIZZ OR DIE YOU BZ
My cellphone alarm isn't very good as it start of quite then 5 seconds later is at full volume so wat im gonna try tonight close my door and set my clock radio on a low enough volome |

Maybe the want to wake up at 4 just somehow subconsiously made you wake up at four? It's happened to me before a lot of times. I woke up today 2 minutes before my alarm went off and usually wake up a little before my alarm. It's like my mind knows when to wake up when I really want it to (if i'm not waking up early one day, i dont wake up at that time, convenient yes? lol). |
|
MILD is probably a goods technique for you. You don't need an alarm to wake you up, because part of the MILD method is telling yourself that you will wake up after every dream period and remembers your dreams, as you're falling asleep. You should then wake up of your own accord, and be able to finish the MILD technique, or even use any other method in conjunction with WBTB (seeing as you're awake anyway.) |

You could try the mp3 that tells you your in a dream. Its in the Attaining Lucidity forum. I heard it works. You can use a MP3/CD player with headphones. |

Slitting my wrists? No thanks. |
|
uh yea the whole slitting wrist thing is a pretty different way to LD. Grapefruit juice helps to lucid dream for me, whether as a placebo or by whatever is in it. Lucid Crossroads is also a good site for WILD dream lucidity |
|
as i was falling asleep last night, i said to myself, i will remember my dream, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid. then i saw dinosaurs running at me and i said, "Holy Crap! i wish i was dreaming!"
Not sure what advice to give this time, I've gotten lazy myself after I broke my first dry spell because I had a couple LDs for "free" soon after. |

Get a clock radio if you dont have one then u can adjust the volume just enough to wake you up and you cant go into a lucid dream just as u get into bed im sure u already know that or u could wake up in the morning say 8 set ur alarm then get breakfast and go bak to bed try wild then |

I wish I could have a lucid dream as soon as I went to bed though, that would be nice and easy... How long into sleeping should I set my alarm to wake me up? after i've slept for around 6 hours? |
|
6 hours is usually the place to start. I just have a hard time doing it. It is a fine line to ballance, being just awake enough to be Lucid, but not so awake that you can't get back to sleep. Usually, I either fall right back to sleep or I start thinking of everything that I need to do that day and stay awake. |

I think it would be difficult to time exactly when i'd been asleep for 8 hours. It takes me from 30minutes to an hour to get to sleep each night (sometimes longer), so it would be hard to know what time exactly to set it for. |
