After I get about 4 or 5 hours of sleep I go back to bed and focus on the HI's. Usually they will turn into full dream scape images and I have entered the dream lucid.

I have the same problem. Sometimes even getting up and going to the bathroom is enough to keep me up for hours, I guess I just have an active mind that doesn't shut off easily. A million things will pop in my head while lying there after being up for a while and it makes it very hard to relax enough to sleep. What I've found helps is not to get up at all. After you wake up after 4-5 hours, try not to move much or open your eyes. Realize that you've woken and try to be still and concentrate on HI that will come eventually. It's a good time to briefly turn on the light and write in your DJ if possible but otherwise just lay there. Don't worry about SP too much - not everyone experiences it. The only times I have is when I've awakened from a dream. Good luck!

Well if an Hour wakes yu up to much try staying up for 30 minutes. If that still wakes you up too much try staying up for about 15 minutes. Untill you've found the exact right wakefullness/Sleepy-condition desired for WBTB+WILD.

However I highly recommend you to try Synthix's Reverse Blinking Method.
It works wonders for me. At first you don't really notice the sleepy trance it induces, but after a while, when your eyes become too tired to open them up every now and then and you keep your eyes closed awaiting the Big sleep, you'll notice how ''deep'' you suddenly are.

I tried it on many restless, insomniac nights and it got me to sleep within 30 minutes.

Really Great technique Synthix. I find it Briljant.
