And I have no idea what is causing it. I really want to DEILD, but last night I stayed still and all but nothing came. ;-; It's not as if I'm lacking the discipline to stay still and keep my eyes closed, but it's just not working for some reason. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I had my first DEILD today, but It was mostly luck. I was very tired, if that helps. |

Yeah, for some reason I felt I had moved even though I don't remember moving. Perhaps DEILDing after a LD would work (I tried once before but it didn't go through), because I know I'm about to wake. Thanks for the tips; I'll keep trying. |

Have you tried any tactile imagery during deild? I couldn't deild without it probably, and once I got into doing it I was able to perform deild very fast. What I mean by tactile is imagining movement, like imagine rolling on your stomach or back imagine the differences in gravity and keep doing this until you feel dislocated from your physical body. It works by stimulating a dream to take place through one of the easiest senses to imagine. |

Whenever I begin to feel/notice myself waking up, I start the DEILD process before I even exit the dream. I keep my eyes closed and stand/sit still. I don't necessarily lay down within the dream, but I halt my movements and close my eyes/dream eyes. I've only failed DEILD a couple of times, and I'm not sure why I failed those two times. |

Good call, LDG. I second the tactile imagery suggestion. That is the main way I WILD or DEILD, too. |
