RC whenever you see something strange

hello!! I was working on that way of doing RC (everytime you see something strange)
      anyone use it?
tell me your experiences with it.
I know of a lot of people RC a lot of times without noticing something weird, just to increase awareness. I found that with this way, I am a lot more aware than before, I didn't RC yet, because didn't found something weird, but ¿ isn't this the best way to have nightly LD? because me, at least, I'm aware all the time, waiting for something weird to happen.
anyways, tell me your experiences with it
      bye!

This is actually the only RC I use now. For instance the other day I was reading an article on the internet and at the exact same time I read the name Dylan, the television in the background said, "Dylan." I immediately RC'd. One time my friend tossed a ping pong ball over his shoulder just throwing it away. It hit a chair behind him and bounced right back into his hand before he had a chance to move it. I RC'd. I RC every time something out of the ordinary happens (odd, strange, lucky, etc.). I also RC every time I see a beautiful landscape/scenic view/etc. They have worked well for me thus far.

This is a good technique, in theory. When dreaming, your mind shuts off all "logical" output, rendering you practically incapable of realizing what is weird and what is not. In a dream, your neighbor walking their pink, flying elephant is just as normal as them walking their dog in the real world. This is not to say that realizing something is weird won't work, but in my own experience every time I have been dreaming and something weird has happened and I realized it, I would step back, think for a minute, and then wake up (the excitement is just too much!)

So maybe... when you see something weird and realize it is strange, you know you are awake!

You should get into the habit of doing reality checks on a regular basis, to combat your brain's inefficiency to realize something strange is going on when dreaming.

It doesn't have to be for only strange events. It can be for interesting, frustrating, happy, sad events.

Like when you miss the bus, wait in a long line at the post office, someone makes a funny joke, you get emotional ie. angry, sad, happy, when you are at the traffic lights.

I like to do an RC when I see a pretty girl.

I have a list of dream signs that occur a whole lot in my dreams. I try to do reality checks whenever I see those things in waking life... sometimes I do it in dreams, other times I wake up going "what the hell, I rode a giant whale to a carnival in the middle of the ocean and I didn't even RC???"

I guess theoretically it would work, but it's never worked for me.

For dreamers who have nightmares often, RCing when you are/feel scared during waking life can also be effective.

      strange stuff

It worked fine with me. A lot of my LD's came through this way. My problem starts when I'm into a stressful day (most of the time) because of I lose my state of awareness and I don't see any strange event although it's happening in front of me. Once I'm dreaming, same thing happens.
I'm looking to RC whenever I'm into any ordinary stuff besides the strange stuff too, due to in most of my normal dreams I'm into "ordinary" tasks and I think It will increase my chances for having more LDs.

I RC whenever, not necessarily when I see something weird. I don't even usually come across things that are unusual.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
