God, and my catchphrase when I first started investigating this stuff was, "Lets see how far this rabbit hole goes" oh wow, I feel it... Might have to ease into it... Madness... As I let out a heartfelt laugh... feels good. for now, I will find my own way through this, but thank you for helping me up to this point.

      Dear Waking Nomad

I woke at 6am and found your above post. I realised that I haven't drawn any portals on any sidewalks yet. Then I realised I hadn't chozen a portal to draw. Haven't even bought any chalk to portalize the sidewalk with.

      Then I remembered something

I got on bus 178 yesterday morning and got out at stop 13. That stop is right outside the Masonic Hall. I will be getting out at stop 13 every Monday and Wednesday to go to Marden adult Campus to do a class called Community Studies. So I will buy some chalk and draw my portal on the sidwalk outside the Payneham Masonic Hall. Then I will take pic's and post them here.

Drew a portal on dry-erase not long ago, it's in my room. Tried linking it up with Thomas Square. I'll try and see if it works tonight, and i'll post a pic as soon as possible.

Interestingly I had a dream last night where I got a Madness Guide last night... it's in my dream journal if anyone's interested.

      Edit: Post count sync?

(Right click view image? It's messing up for me unless I do that)
      Edit2: added portal
Edit3: Had some crazy dreams, possibly induced by the portal, but nothing about Thomas Square (I think Nomad showed up in a few)

My portal is no longer visible in the physical sense. Got washed away. But it is still there outside the physical, and still linked. My picture is here:

As posted on the second page of this thread. I will redraw the lines later on.

This song was made thinking of a war, but the quotidian life is a war, where we are our worst enemy. The lyrics are perfect and does reflect.

      The Impossible Dream

      To dream the impossible dream
      To fight the unbeatable foe
      To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
      To right the unrightable wrong

To be better far than you are
To try when your arms are too weary
      To reach the unreachable star
This is my quest, to follow that star
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To be willing to give when there's no more to give

To be willing to die so that honor and justice may live

And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
      To reach the unreachable star.

Going to be dreaming that Jack Sparrow exists in real life and never wake up.

Before I do so I will sit on my portal hole downing a bottle of rum.

      My Sidewalk Chalk Dream Portal

      WakingNomad

This morning I went to the BP service station to get the Saturday paper’s then continued circling by block to see if the bus-stop would be a good place to put my first dream-portal. I needed a spot where I could sit and draw because if I get down I can’t get up. But the bus-stop is on lumpy bitumen and not good to chalk on.

I continued and noticed the small carpark behind the furniture shop, next door to my boarding house was concrete. I went home a got a broom. I swept the tiny parking place looking for the best bit to chalk on. It is very old, cracked concrete. The best bit is near the tap. Then I thought, “If the owner of the furniture shop hates my sidewalk chalk art he can just turn the tap on and wash it away”.

So I did it and here it is:

      Forum code:

I am putting it on Flickr too. Here is my Flickr account. I made about 150 photes invisible and just kept the ones relating to Shared dreaming stuff.

      WAYYYYY OFF-TOPIC, sorry

      Totally off topic sync

I just logged-out of Yahoo Email to go home and this was on the site.

What your doodles say about you - Yahoo! Lifestyle UK

Drawing dream portals on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk was (for me) like doodleing. My avatar mandala is both circles and squares. To me that mandala is a metaphore for the living Matrix, (The Eternal Beloved). Here is what greeted me when I logged out of my email.

Whether it’s hearts and flowers, gurning faces or the scrawled name of your secret crush, your doodles say an awful lot about you.

As handwriting expert Ruth Rostron puts it, because we doodle without thinking the patterns we choose can be very revealing - “like Freudian slips or body language that we are not aware of”.

For instance, emotional people who crave harmony tend to go for rounded shapes and symbols such as circles, suns, flowers, hearts, lips and balloons.
More down-to-earth, practical people who desire order draw square shapes and things that represent material security, such as boxes, doors, forts, towers, block letters and numbers.

And determined people with a lot of mental and physical energy draw pointed or masculine images, from stars to arrows, zigzags, spires, stick figures and lightening.
But whatever your doodle style, today is the day to make those doodles make a difference. That’s because it’s National Doodle Day, founded in 2004 by charity Epilepsy Action as a fun way to raise funds and awareness for a condition that affects one in every 103 people in the UK.

By submitting your favourite personal doodles to the organisation’s annual National Doodle Day competition – along with a minimum £1 donation – you could stand to win £250 of high street vouchers and at the same time help raise cash for a vital cause. The closing date for entries is Friday 13 April and full details are available at the National Doodle Day website.

Alternatively you could bid to win one of dozens of celebrity doodles auctioned on eBay today - including Dame Helen Mirren’s doodle of a glamorous woman, X Factor winner Matt Cardle’s smiley face, The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright’s scribbly lady, Queen guitarist Brian May’s swirly tree-like effort or Sir Alan Ayckbourn’s sleeping “goalkeeper cat”.

Other stars who have submitted their doodles include Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park, designer Ben de Lisi, Prime Minister David Cameron, Peter Andre, Joanna Lumley, Twiggy, actor Bill Nighy and footballer Steven Gerrard.

Epilepsy Action fundraising events manager Philippa Cartwright said: “National Doodle Day is a great way for celebrities and members of the public alike to get creative for a good cause. Taking just five minutes out of your day can make all the difference to the 600,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.”

A winning bid or donation of just £10 can fund a call to the organisation’s helpline, £20 could fund one hour of support from an epilepsy specialist nurse, £50 could fund a six month supply of information booklets and £100 could fund an awareness session by a trained adviser to dispel myths and answer questions in schools and workplaces.
In the meantime, want to know more about what your doodles say about you? Here are 10 things you never knew about doodling:

      • Doodling is good for you because it helps relieve boredom and frustration, allowing pressure to be dispelled in a creative, playful way. The urge to doodle gets stronger as stress levels rise

      • Underlying preoccupations can surface and take shape as doodles. Doodling maps your mind as you plan something new, worry about money or dream of a lover. Subconsciously, it may actually help you sort out your problems.

      • Some symbols crop up again and again – such as the sun, stars, boxes, arrows, hearts, flowers and waves. This may be because they have special significance for human beings and are symbols that represent our aspirations, needs and feelings

      • People who prefer straight lines tend to have strong willpower and self-control and like facts. Those who prefer curved strokes are more flexible, imaginative and emotional

      • A single object represents the person doodling while the background scene or space represents the world around him or her. Several objects may represent people who are important to the doodler, different aspects of a situation, or parts of him or herself

      • If your doodle consists of a single object or pattern, how big is it in relation to the space? A large object shows you are outgoing, appear confident and have a busy life. A small object suggests you observe more than participate, like your personal space and prefer a quiet life

      • If you doodle at the top of the page, this is linked to dreams and aspirations. The bottom of the page is associated with security and material concerns. The right is concerned with the future and the outside world and the left relates to the past and family

      • People who are sensitive or hesitant tend to draw with short, light or sketchy lines. Determined people who feel strongly about things use longer, firmer strokes

      • Digging into the paper or going over and over something are signs that someone is frustrated, obsessed or stuck with a problem

      • Heavy shading or criss-crossing of strokes suggest depression or worry
For more information on how to take part in National Doodle Day visit the website here or call 0113 210 8800.

Help Help Help me put pictures into this thread please (!!!)

If I don't log in to My account on Flickr can I copy one of my photos from flickr here on Dreamviews?

      Please, please, please!

can someone, ANYONE tell me how to get a photo or drawing or picture up on dreamviews from Flickr or PhotoBucket or any other place one stores ones own images.

I can only get pitures up if I first upload them to saltcube but saltcube is abandonded. No one is posting on saltcube and one day it may get switched off and all my photos posted on dreamviews will disappear and I I have no other way of getting pictures up on dreamviews.

I put links to flickr but there is a counter on Flickr so i know that no one visits the pictures I link.

Specifically, over 50 people viewed the post above this one, With a link to my dreamportal that I chalked on the tiny carpart with sidewalk chalk but only 7 of them viewed the picture at my Flickr account. Only 7 of the more than 50 clicked the link.

      So

      Please, please, please!

Someone, ANYONE, educate me on how to get that picture of my dreamportal into a post on this thread, please.

Here is the link to my dreamportral again:

      Flickr: Ultravioletfrog's Photostream

when you get to the page and click the photos the counter goes up one. There are YouTubes there too.

I will give Imageshack, Tinypic and Imgur represent a Google

      Dear ShadowOfSelf and enak101

      It is 9:15 pm at Netzone Internetcafe and I got to go home now but I will come back tomorrow and checkout those picture storing places ShadowOfSelf and enak101. That is;

      Imgur represent
      Imageshack
      Tinypic

Etc. I have a Flickr and PhotoBucket account but can’t get them to work although Flicker worked fine for a couple of years.

      Oh

      Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won’t accept that yet another PRACTICAL Shared Dreaming thread has Died.

I intend to go to my sacred Beach, (when I get a round toit) and chalk another avatar portal by the toilets between Henley Beach and Grange Beach. Then I am going to see if I can get myself to dream of going to the one behind where I live and dream-teleport the one at my sacred beach.

I just paid for another hour because my $10 five hour deal ran out. So I will go to saltcube and upload that Flickr pic of my sidewalk chalk portal then copy it to this word document and post it here:

      Did it.

      Dream Remote Viewing Laboritories?

You know why I jump into any and all shared dreaming threads?

After that totally wiered experience that brought me online on Saturday 1/March/2008 I worked with 3 other people, following dreams, and built that Mandala portal out-to-sea At my sacred beach.

Later I had another amazing shared dream and the one who shared it with me gave me the link to saltcube.

Matt had finished his 35 weekly dream remote viewing labs and Richard was up to his 30th when I join saltcube.

      Richard ended up doing 45.

During these dream labs folks spontaneously dreamed each other’s dreams sometimes. I was very new to the dream community and thought this stuff was commonplace in the dream community. I only knew of Psi-Dreams yahoogroups and this saltcube that C of Psi-Dreams yahoogroups had sent me. I had no idea that there were any other dream sites. I hadn’t found Google yet.

I kept going to sleep with warm excitement asking my self, “what is in the Star” then waking in the morning with warm excitement and expectation. I would watch my self go to sleep and whatch myself wake-up hoping that I had dreampt of what was in the star. It was sooooo exciting.

I was soooo green that I thought everyone who was into dreaming was doing the samething and was well aquainted with the amazing cross dreaming phenomemon that happens when folk focus on one object in a dream remote viewing lab far, far away.

Saltcube was soooo alive and the whole place was filled with syncronicities.

We could do something like that here

Opps got my 5 min warning so got to go. It’s 10:15 pm here.

      Wow! Portal Builders

I listen to this Youtube a lot and just now noticed that it has just hit

That’s is 9 twice Waking Nomad, (trip 9)

At the 4:44 point of this Youtube, Dream Portals are appearing around the Mighty Dream Warrior and pilot spaceman, Ganesh. To me this says, “I protect all dream portals”.
      So

      Dreamviewer’s, as Waking Nomad said:

      “Let’s Protalize the world”

Many pictures in this Youtube speak to me. Ganesh honours the upsurge of energy that happens in REM. It is an upsurge of sexual energy that happens when we enter REM and you see Ganesh pouring water on the symbol of that black sexual energy upsurge.

      I'll be back, promise

      Dear WakingNomad and Friends

Two days ago I purchased Oversoul from Nick Newport. And now Saltcube has Sprung back to Life.

I purchased Oversoul before the 29th of March and got 33% off. It cost me $23.48 (AUD).

With the reciept I got a number that meant I could register on Saltcube. So I did. I registered as "ultra" but I am also Hermit.

      Anyway

In the first of four "Guided Imagery" audio's, Nick talks about stuff I feel I can transfer to the work we are doing on this thread.

I am absorbed in the Oversoul package right now but ...

      I'LL BE BACK.

      Love

      DebraJane

Simply make yourself a portal when your in a dream, why bother with reality? It will just be a copy in the dream even if you did draw one in waking. Also whats wrong with your hands? I know how to heal/cure just about anything so PM me if you want to be fixed up.
WHATTTT???? You can't be serious about this. Let's never learn and be little ants on a planet and enjoy the sunshine. Why bother with reality? Because we are here. Too much work and achieves nothing? Have you tried it? Crikey man why are you being such an idiot with this. He's proposing an idea that'll take like 10 minutes, 5 minutes in waking, 5 minutes in dreaming. You don't know if it will be a copy when you are dreaming, as of the ambigousness that dreaming implies(you could be projecting to the physical and your brain would interpret it as a "dream" because it was during your normal dreaming hours, or it could be a copy, and still work).

Personally, I think its genius, but I will try it out and see what happens. Not sure how to draw a portal, but I'm just going to do a Circle wit a triangle then a spiral inside triangle.
All of experience is fun for me, whether in a dream, or in reality, because I love existing, learning, and continuously evolving and sustaining. Then again, who knows, I may not enjoy existing so much if I caught a face full of buckshot from an angry farmer. But hey, at least I'd got out with a bang.

All you need is a simple circle. You can add some words of protection inside if you like.
