Exclamation Challenges To All For The Dream Realm

Whether you initially believe these challenges are attainable or not, try them with the intent of using them to your advantage based on your own interests in waking life (and dream life) and see what happens.

Some items may require advanced skills, but these skills are easily obtained with patience, and discipline. All should engage your inner creativity.

      1. Determine a form for yourself, design every aspect of it and write it down. Be imaginative. Will you be a white shadow wolf made only of light? What color eyes? What powers and abilities? Once you have intricately designed this form for yourself, transform into it and direct your intent to the dreams of your friends that you are interested in visiting.

If you want some form of theory to understand the direction of this challenge, here it is:

There are many people in our lives that we would love to share the concepts of lucid dreaming with. Some of those people we have tried to explain it to, and some reject the idea as ludicrous. For those that do, enter their dream in your selected form. Aid them in a situation and do not reveal yourself. Spend time talking to them and displaying your powers and explaining how to use powers and other concepts of lucid dreaming to this person while they are dreaming. A dream such as this has a chance of being remembered by this person. When you next speak to them, probe for a little information on their latest dreaming, and see how they describe the experience they had.

If they are even within range of the concrete details of said dream, what would happen if this entity continued to visit them? By virtue of dreams containing one entity who always visits you, with no repetition to the dream content, should they not begin to notice they are dreaming when you show up for a visit?

I will argue no beliefs with anyone. Believe you can, or believe you can't, either way, you're right. Try it yourself and keep the results within. I know mine.

      2. Summon to yourself, an endless storage pouch or bag. All items that you seek to keep nearby that you discover in the dream realm you can toss into the bag and upon thinking of that item when reaching inside, that is what you pull out. Design for yourself a set of weapons with various features and abilities that you will use to defend yourself in all dreams.

Use of these weapons automatically by your dream self due to habitual usage over time by your lucid self, is yet another cue to dreaming, no? Or would this not happen? Find out. Combat in dreams is fun

      3. Summon to yourself a creature companion. Design every aspect of it, and give it a living piece of your energy, set to replicate itself within this new creation. That will give it a consciousness. How to do this? You give it out of love. And it appears as only light. You may be surprised at the level of intelligence your new buddy will have. Most people who try this, end up with an entire stable of creature creations, all serving a specific purpose.

With your new bright red and black striped shadow tiger at a standing height of 11ft and estimated 1,200lbs tackling you each time you pop into the dream realm, you might notice you're dreaming pretty fast.

Take your time designing your new companion. Don't just say "tiger with red and black stripes" and give it life, there is much more that can be done than to settle for an earth-like appearance with just a substituted color. Determine the color of the eyes, if there is a glow, the appearance of the fur, is it dull, shiny, glistening with light within a range of orange to yellow? Can he/she heal or breathe fire? You should spend many anxious days and nights constructing it. Once you are done, however, and it is before your eyes as real seeming as real can get, and you see it look at you for the first time, prepare yourself for a collapsed dream. But you'll meet again, next dream, and every one after. They learn very fast, and I mean very fast. They like to spar, a lot.

      4. Request from the dream a master teacher of (insert your subject of interest here). Express your intent to learn from him/her/it. Seek to learn at an accelerated pace, and to learn how to learn at an accelerated pace. This is key. Start with basic foundations of what you need to accomplish, and work your way into complexities, only much faster with a teacher aiding you, in a place where the rules are different. Wording is key to responses received.

      Try it.

      5. Learn to manipulate energy. Throw 1 fireball the size of a watermelon. Fire one blast of ice that shatters dummy dream figures. Fire lightning blasts and gusts of wind capable of sending dummy dream figures miles. Learn to absorb the energy around you to harness it for powered up attacks. Learn to dissipate the momentum of hostile energy as it races towards you. Learn to push entities away from you with energy alone. Fight as many enemies of as many kinds with as many numbers as possible, as much as possible. (10:1, 20:1, 50:1)

Fun in and of itself, but always leads to a greater desire for combat at improved levels. Watch your level of awareness improve in waking life in all situations. All because you had some fun dreaming, learning to fight, and then all of the sudden...you can.

      6. Join 1 or 2 friends in a dream, summon to yourself a gauntlet battle master, capable of summoning sentient combatants in an arranged rules battle to incapacitation, battle after battle for 10, 20, 30 or more total rounds. (Battle masters are usually dragons) Adaptation in the battlefield is crucial, as is communication. A lot can be learned there, and many of the most fearsome looking beings are of very good sport. You can even do this alone, but with an ally is so much more fun.

Try it. Add spectators. (10,000 maybe 1,000,000 or higher) over time it will eliminate any fear of public speaking, performance or otherwise. It becomes a source of energy, cheers or boos. Some of the stipulations I like include:

A very large area and random placing of myself and companions (or team with theirs or without) and our opponent(s). Having to first stalk them before engaging is very exhilarating to say the least. It's also knowledge I can use in waking reality, only with modified rules, but rules which I still know.

Random terrain/plant life and weather conditions. Sometimes cities and towns, other times wastelands or jungles.

Strong opponents like dragons and gryphons.

      7. Converse with the dream. Ask a question you sincerely want to know the answer to out loud, directing your question to the sky. The level of focus needed to be maintained here is great, do not let responses cause you to do too much pondering on them, or you might collapse the dream.

Try it. Ask the dream to show you something that will amaze you.

I will post 7 more challenges in a few more days. Again, I will argue beliefs on the possibility of any of these challenges with no one. If it is true for you, that is all that matters. If it is not, then so be it, continue on.

I will however, offer suggestions to perceived difficulties.

Create a challenge for yourself that sounds as outlandish as these, and you might be surprised what your results are.

A Tip: 30 minutes - 1 hour before your intended time to lucid dream, spend that time, directly planning what it is you want to spend your dream time doing. Treat it as if dreaming is just a continuation of what you are trying to accomplish overall, with simply different rules from waking reality. Come away with results thinking "objective completed", and document them, then use them.

      Some will say:

"Show me scientific evidence of these challenges being possible, chief among them, visiting people in dreams as some form and having constant shared dreams that leads them to lucidity over time."

There is none. Though, if you find the results of your own experimentation to be true, then who cares? It is your success in discovering the truth or non-truth of the possibilities presented that matters, and it is your decision to make whether or not these things are true. I will not debate in an endless loop of neither side having proof of the other. I will provide nothing other than the information I believe would aid the endeavor by another who is seeking success in doing so themselves.

Persistence pays off. If the first method attempted seems to not be working, change it in ways you feel would be optimal to completing the goal. Imagination a must.

Why do you need scientifc evidence of them? The challenges themselves aren't "supernatural", it is the results that are.

Anyway, I have done everything but 4 and 7, because I use another sense for 7 and for 4 the "master" is weaker than me and I have to teach them stuff <.<

Now that's interesting. A master that's weaker than yourself? If you don't mind me asking, what was he supposed to teach you? I know what you mean by a different sense for #7 but for most it is easier to use their voice.

Well, there was this one time I asked about my past life, they assumed I had lived before and tried to show it to me, but nah didn't work. There was another time fighting an energy master, but he lost. There is also my DG, who thought she could teach me how to leave peacefully and how to improve my life, instead she got cursed and is now a bit more gloomy than before. There was this one supposed to teach me how to see into others, but I had been using different methods since way before. I think there was this meditation master too, but I his method was complicated and it was easier to use mine, so just ignored him.

I can't say I've run into a teacher who was unable to teach me about their given specialty. What did you choose for a companion? I am working on a phoenix at the moment, besides my yin/yang twin spirit wolves.

Most were humans, except the one who tried to teach me how to see into others, that I think was either a dragon or a big lizard.

I added some of these to my list of lucid dream goals.
I've done #7 a few times, with interesting results.
      It's all in your head.

      BONUS CHALLENGES

      1. Extend your lucid dream time to incredible amounts of time by entering the realm where time equals 10 (maybe 30) waking reality minutes per actual 1 minute of waking reality time. When you enter this realm, your first order of business is learning how to improve your recall. Request a teacher, and listen to them. Do not use logic when trying to understand them, use your intuition. In the beginning, when you are still working on this, estimate how much time you spent performing the activities in your dream, and what it felt like in total time spent, then record the actual amount of time you spent asleep. In order to spend longer amounts of time in time-altered realms like these, your energy needs to be balanced for the day ahead. Spend the perceived end time-frame of the dream to relax and absorb nothing but positive, restorative energy and light into yourself. The source of this energy is all of the neutral energy surrounding you. Your intent gives it its properties. Increase the intensity of this absorption until the sensation is so overwhelming, you awaken. Note how you feel throughout the entire day, when your day starts off this way.

      2. Once you have created your creature companion, design for it 7 orbs of light, each orb containing 7 evolutionary changes in the design, and abilities of your companion. Lock them away, behind encounters and obstacles meant to test their skills, and hide the locations of these tests in the cosmos. Give them an area to start searching, and tell them it is for them to have a goal while you are away. When a test is completed, they will find and absorb the orb, taking only those changes they want to obtain, and discarding the others. Their personality will show more and more the next time you see them after they have found an orb while you were away. They will combine their abilities and determine things for themselves in ways you did not consciously think of, accept this. They are a living being. When they have found them all, assign them to a child to watch over while that child is awake. They know at what times to meet with you, and how to find you.

      3. Challenge a shadow dragon to a duel of fire and earth elements only. Summon to yourself a shadow horn, billowing with black smokey fog, yet retaining it's shape. Blow into this horn, and do not fear the sight you see. They are good sports, but they are tough to defeat. Should you defeat one, you can use the horn you summoned to call on him/her when you need a strong ally.

Dragons are very strong opponents. They do not know what fear feels like, so they do things that are meant to draw that out in you. Do not fear what they do, because all things have a counter.

I have created entities before, but they have all been destroyed at one point or another, usually by outside forces. I'm curious as to why you say 7 orbs, is there a reason for that amount?

No reason. There's nothing stopping you from creating 100 or 1,000 if you decided that's what you wanted to do. At the same time, that requires a ton of forethought and planning.

lol interesting, already done 1 and 2 of new list, Xildron had to undergo I think 8 evolutions, the rest of the kids 2. Never fought a dragon using only fire and earth though... might be interesting.

The next time you are lucid, request a teacher that will teach you all about how to lucid dream at will, and to stabilize dreams so you only awaken when you want to. This is a great aid in improving your skills rapidly.

Hukif, fighting fire with fire and earth as the only fallback is so incredibly tough, but fun.

I will keep these challenges rolling along, but will start to update the 1st post after this one. The following are the last bonus challenges for this week.

      BONUS CHALLENGES PT. 2

      1. When you have entered a time-altered realm, teleport to or summon to you, the front steps of the Library of Infinite Knowledge. Enter and meet the librarian, who will pull up any of the data it is that you wish to learn or simply know for your own reasons. My suggestion at this time, is that you spend your initial sessions learning the following:

-How to retain and recall all information perceived either in waking or dreaming realms.
-How to think more like how a computer processes information. Learn how to calculate multiple results of known data and simple/complex rule-sets in milliseconds, without thinking vocally in words.
-How to lucid dream at will, and how to stabilize each dream so that you only awaken when you want to.
-How to learn, apply knowledge and grasp concepts at a rapid pace. Learn completely what takes four years of college, in 2 months. (or whatever your time allows you to do)
-Learn which herbs, fruits, and vegetables would be useful in any injury/illness related waking reality situation where help is not nearby. Who needs a doctor?

When you are in this realm, you WILL lose complete track of time spent there, and how long you have been asleep. I entered the realm of 1 year in waking reality minutes to 1 actual minute of waking reality time, and the ONLY thing reminding me that I was dreaming, was my phoenix. Make sure to summon a watch that will track how long you have been in that realm, converted to how long you have been sleeping in actual waking reality minutes. Check it often. You NEED some form of cue to remind you that you are dreaming, because you WILL forget after a long period of time in this realm. Do not enter the time altered realms past 1 hour to 1 minute without a dreaming reminder, preferably a companion. You will regret it if you do. 60 minutes was 60 years, and I already feel like I've lived for hundreds. It makes one wonder what death really is anyways, and if this waking reality we knew before lucid dreaming is just one shared dream with perfect continuity.

There is much to learn in the library.

      2. Create a companion for a child you know, based on that child's interests. Probe them for information on what their companion would be like, make them use their imagination. Once you have enough information from them, add some aspects of your own to this creature, create it, but create it with evolution and growth in mind. Start it off as a baby, and set it's growth rate, and what changes will take place in it based on choices the child makes in raising it. Give it life, then tell it its assignment and to go find the child and watch over them when they are awake, or dreaming. Tell it that if you happen to be dreaming at the same time as the child, to bring the child to you for instruction and training.

      3. Join the Coliseum Tournament. This tournament pits 5 completely different beings together as a team to face off against other teams of 5 in a battle to incapacitation. You will be the only human on your team. Working with other sentient beings makes you appreciate your access to the greater universe a lot more than just looking at them from afar. Gryphons make incredible defenders, while dragons are incredible team leaders. I wish I had a name that could be readily identifiable for the other types of beings you will fight alongside, with or against. There are all types and kinds of creatures and spin offs of creatures. You might even be appointed to lead your team. You will build lasting friendships competing in this manner. If your team wins the tournament, you not only get the most glorious trophy I've ever witnessed, you are infused with energy that will bring you incredible "luck" for 1 year in your waking life. I have not won one of these tournaments yet.

      4. Take on the Coliseum Challenge. You and a team of 4 others, human or not, will be pitted against a sole, powerful entity in a battle to incapacitation. You will face some of the most fearsome, nightmarish beings you could imagine here. Fear won't exist in you after having faced enough of these types of beings. You could look upon the devil himself and laugh at how his appearance is compared to a Shadow Hopper. Do not let the crowd make you nervous, as there will be millions of spectators. One of these battles usually drains all of my energy, and I spend a lot of time restoring it before I can wake up and proceed with the day. Winning here, is simply for bragging rights. I have been defeated more than I have won in this challenge. I actually want a rematch with a particular being.

      5. Challenge the Great Riddler Tree to solve his riddles. His home is in The Dark Cavern, and you will not need to fight anything to reach him, you only need to illuminate the area as soon as you are there. He is a very friendly fellow, and will instantly assume you are there for a challenge. Your response to his first question will determine if he kicks you out, or accepts your challenge. His question will be: "What do you seek?". He speaks in rhymes, be ready for this. Solve 3 riddles, you will be provided with gift only you know how to use, and for what to use it for. He will challenge you to keep going. Miss one after the first 3, and you lose your gift. Solve 5 and receive 2 gifts. Solve 7 and receive 3. Solve 10 and receive 5. If you cannot solve one, simply take your gifts that you've earned (if you've earned them), and he will provide you a warp-hole to go wherever you want. Your endless bag will come in handy here. If you get any of the riddles wrong, you will be warped to another location and locked from his cavern for 1 week waking reality time. He will leave you with a scroll containing advice for future attempts.

Alright, thanks. I might have to give this a shot, maybe with six or seven orbs. I highly appreciate this thread, as I was never 100% sure how I created my entities in the first place, thanks for that, and the other ideas too

No problem, I find them fun, entertaining, and I learn from them. These challenges should hopefully get people's minds running at a million miles an hour at what truly is possible, and to test them. Once you discover that impossible is only a word because the possibility of an impossibility existing, has to be possible for everything to be possible, your entire perspective on what life is, and the concept of time especially, changes.

ADDITIONAL CHALLENGE - Anyone of any skill level can use the following and cross its effects over into waking life.

      1. Warp to any empty location for billions of miles in the cosmos. Create a spherical area that none but you and invited guests can pass through the size of a small planet. Enter this area and construct for yourself, what you would find to be the most beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and focused location for yourself to inhabit when you need to get away. This is truly your happy place. Create creatures that hang out there, an ecosystem of extraordinary plant life and fruits. Will you have a mansion? A zen garden? A combination of many modern and futuristic ideas in one place? A glistening lake with incredibly outlandish dolphin creatures swimming and singing? Snow surrounding the outside? Design this place with great imagination, and inhabit it daily. In your various fruits, instill features you want to feel upon waking. These things include:

-A fruit that heals any waking reality ailment or illness you might have. You can do this by absorbing and intending the neutral energy around you into yourself.
-A fruit that fills you with complete peace and tranquility.
-A fruit that charges you with energy and an alert state of mind, if you have a long day ahead

And for fun and other things that are interesting to experience:

-A fruit that turns you into a consciousness with no sense of past, or self, and warps you to another realm where you are to watch over an entity for a time, to aid them in something. You must choose your form, and your abilities on the fly and they are yours upon entering their physical realm, though still of and connected to their dream realm. Awakening from one of these is nothing short of incredible.

This will become your home base in the stars, your HQ. The primary purpose of some of these challenges is to create such levels of permanence to your dreams by creating things you use and interact with only in dreams so often, and that are focused on so much, that when you go to sleep, you are already accepting where you are going. It doesn't become, "will I lucid dream this time?", it'll be "time to dream". You know what you have there, what your goals are, and what you want to do with your time while dreaming. The impulse has been removed from the experience and you are embracing its tools and possibilities. Do what it is that you enjoy doing, everything is available for as long as you care to acknowledge that it's there.

      Ok, your posts make me feel nostalgic... already had nearly all of that, except for the tree, the earth/fire only fight and the library (I think)... just so nostalgic ;.;
Oh well, thank you for reminding me what I would like to re-do.

I'm currently learning herbal alchemy. I will have some interesting challenges involving that and waking reality in a day or two.

      IMPROVE YOUR AWARENESS

Play a game of Hunter against as many types of sentient enemies as possible. If you want a certain type of opponent, intend this. If you want a random opponent, say "I wish to play Hunter with a random sentient opponent". You will not see your opponent until you engage in combat for the first time. This is how you play:

A cloud will appear and sweep you into the sky. There, the cloud will recite to you 3 concrete facts about your opponent that you can use to identify them. Below you, a 10 mile by 10 mile area will be created at complete random and you will be placed in it. In this area, a treasure useful either to you or your opponent will be hidden. Your objective is to find it before your opponent, defeating him to get to it if you must. This is a battle where incapacitation is temporary but contains a penalty. Your opponent will be placed somewhere else, the same distance from the treasure as you. You will be given 1 fact about the treasure.

You two are the only living beings capable of engaging in combat. Everything else there will be harmless dream figures. You will be sapped of energy if you destroy any innocent dream figure that is not your actual opponent.

You will be given 10 minutes to prepare yourself. This the time you will spend creating your weaponry, offensive and defensive tools based on what you perceive your opponent is, and you can bring 1 companion with you. Your companion can fly, and their abilities will be auto-balanced to fit the rules of the game. You cannot fly, and you cannot teleport or portal around. You can super jump, and use technology to jump even higher or farther or fly for a short duration. You are not capable of super speed past a certain point. The rules of your load-out are as follows:

-3 Melee Weapons doing up to 2 types of elemental damage each. Elements cannot be of the type that would cancel another. Fire and water cannot be on the same weapon.

-2 Ranged Weapons of any kind, with no homing abilities. Guns, bows, boomerang-type weapons and more. Their ammunition can be infinite, but can only use one element and of limited energy. You are limited to 3 types of ammunition per weapon.

-3 Energy Infusers - These will heal your wounds, which are persistent throughout the round. You are not going to die, no matter how much agony you may be in, pain is pain for as long as you let it defeat your spirits. When you are out of these, there are stations you can use around the area to heal yourself. They are pools of light, and they have a limited amount of energy contained in them, and will disappear when depleted. There are 20 in each match.)

-1 Pouch capable of holding 50 items of any size. If you find something you believe will be useful in the hunt, as clues will be everywhere, save them for later. You might also find some elixirs or be given something by a dream figure for doing something specific that you can use. Anything you find is legal to have in your pouch.

-7 Food & Drink items that will have various effects that you decide at the max energy power allowed for these items. Meat that increases your energy force power by 2 times, a drink that allows you to view through walls for a few minutes, etc. The duration and power of these items is decided by the internal rules of the game, you only need to decide the specific effects on your being you want to achieve.

-2 Utility Items, which are gadgets that provide you with some form of sensory bonus. Scope implants for your eyes that allow you to see clearly a soda can at a mile, etc. The usefulness and power of these gadgets will be auto-balanced and shown to you on the item itself.

-You may use any and all powers you can conceive in your imagination, though their effects will be auto-balanced so that you are not invincible. Visual cues will show you when your defensive powers are going to be crushed for over-use. Adapt and succeed.

When a glowing yellow orb hovering in front of you in your preparation area explodes with green light, time to move. At this time a scroll will appear in front of you. On the front of it will be a map of the area, on the back will be the details given to you that are used for identifying your opponent, and the single fact about the treasure.

In order to be able to actually, defeat your enemy, there needs to be an arbitrary cap on each of your energy levels, like a health bar in a video game. When you are completely drained you explode into a million tiny pieces and then 1 second later appear in your preparation area with a skull floating in front of you to let you know you've been defeated. You can re-enter the match at this point and continue to hunt for the treasure if it has not been found yet by your opponent. Each time you are defeated your energy cap is less and less until you are almost incapable of fighting using energy actively for a duration of time. At this point you are not weary or incapable of agility and speed, but rather must rely on finding the treasure without using combat and only sparsely using powers. It can be done, though it is tough.

This game teaches you to be aware of everything in your surroundings, but not to be paranoid. Use your environment to your advantage. Use powers that help you identify plant life and its effects on you in the game. Discovering a leaf that when chewed allows you to warp around for 3 minutes would be pretty useful, no?

You have many dream figures that will need help with something, and completing these tasks for them will provide you with some item or map location that will aid your search for the treasure. You will start off without a clue as to where to start. Search for a dream figure that is surrounded by plumes of light, they will have your first clue. As your opponent gets closer and closer to you, you will feel it. Identifying them should always be an active thought in your mind. You will need to multi-task frequently and to be aware of many things using your senses. After playing a full match of Hunter and winning a few times, notice how aware you are when you are awake.

So last night I got lucid and asked around some DCs for a teacher to teach me to lucid dream at will. I wasn't taken anywhere, but a few DCs said I should find a man called Louie. Each time I saw an old man dressed in blue with white hair. He looked kinda like a wizard. How should I go about finding him without him being an expressionless DC?

How does it even feel to have the experience of 60 years dreaming? Can you apply it to normal dreams on a smaller scale, say 1 minute of sleep in real world equals 10 in the dream?

Don't search for him, call him directly to you. Express your intent out loud to the dream itself to meet this Louie and once he appears, you have your teacher. Express your intent to learn how to lucid at will and then listen.

I honestly forgot completely about this waking life to the point that it scared me that I could not tell the difference without my companion reminding me of where I was. I accepted the rule-set of dreaming as the rule-set, but I had the forethought to summon a watch that converted my time there into time spent actually sleeping, so I could bounce back and forth between the figures. I did this shortly into the first year, realizing how much time I had spent there already. I did so many things, and went through so many adventures I couldn't begin to count them all. I don't even consider life to be what I used to think it was, if this is what I can do every day for the rest of my waking life. But each time I've awakened from an incredibly long dream like this, I'm still in the same state of awe at all I was able to do and experience in barely enough time to clean up a house.

You can definitely apply this on a smaller scale where 10 waking reality minutes = 1 actual waking reality minute, or you can go into the ridiculous scales of 100 years in waking minutes = 1 actual waking minute, but something like the latter makes me wonder if I'd forget my entire Earthly identity with so much time spent in another place as another being.

This is really fascinating How did you begin experimenting with altering time perception? Is a companion a necessity from the beginning, or can you get away with mucking about with time perception at first without one? And finally, were these experiences as a result of a DILD, WILD, or a different induction technique?

      Sorry about all the questions

      Sorry about all the questions
Well as I continued to experiment, I noticed that I would need to wake up while I was still in the middle of something. After a few days of this, I sat in thought and said "I wonder if I can just enter another realm where time equals x minutes which equals x minutes in my actual waking reality." In response to this pondering, an internal voice said "Why not?". I had no valid answer to this question, so I assumed it was something I could achieve. Sure enough, it was. At the realms of 1 hour in waking minutes = 1 actual waking minute, you are going to need some form of reminder that you are dreaming. You could get away with messing around in the 10 or 30 waking minutes = 1 minute realms, but when you wake up you're probably going to lay there for a while trying to recall your own name, especially if you spend your time in a form other than human. I approached my brother, knowing he was my brother because we look so alike, and asked him what my name was. He looked at me very strangely for a while then said "Alex, what the fuck happened?" and I told him about the dream and the experiment. He was surprised to say the least, but I believe I gave him some ideas of his own, as he's just exiting high school, and has been seeking time to practice his lucid dreaming.

Give yourself something that will remind you of which reality you are in. I chose a watch that tracked my time in both locations. A companion thinks for themselves so they are a great reminder of where you are, because in no other place does a creature like yours exist (hopefully), and they will remember your name for you. Your environment is not a good cue because spending so much time there causes you to accept the things around you as "normal". As extraordinary as the plant life and towns and cities and indigenous species may start off being. Spend 20 years there and you forget they aren't of your home planet. All I could do, was check my watch to know I was dreaming, and for how long I'd been there, but then I had to try and remember where I came from in the first place. Now I will chalk this up to my recall not being at the level it should be messing around in those realms. I'm doing a lot now with my teacher in regards to recall and retaining my experiences. This particular experiment was the result of a DILD after I had already thought of the idea while awake.

This is how I got into that realm:

I had just noticed I was dreaming inside of an abandoned science building. I was in some type of lab with some older computers and other things. I remembered my objective and said out loud, "Open a portal to the realm where time equals 1 waking reality year per actual waking reality minute." On the wall in front of me, a portal opened and I jumped in. At this point there was nothing but darkness, but not the darkness of a collapsed dream, because I could feel myself falling, but I was not falling like one would fall with gravity involved, going faster faster. I was falling at a set rate that felt really floaty. I could not see anything, but still knew I was moving. Then I started to head to my left and then down again, and then there was an area that was dimly lit, and I could see a door. Above the door was a sign that read 1 year to 1 minute, and I stopped falling and had the option of moving. I floated up to the door, opened it and went inside. When I went inside, the area was the exact same as the lab I had been in. This almost fooled me, because I asked for a change of realm, not a change of scenery. I decided to have the dream drop me off in a random location within this realm, and I just started to explore. My phoenix at this point reminded me that I was still in human form, and I promptly changed into my wolf form. I was running very fast through the forest, sniffing all the plant life, and collecting anything I thought would be useful.

In a small clearing, there seemed to be two warring species of humanoid shape, but larger in size, and they were not human. One group was nothing short of flesh & machine and another was nothing short of being made of earthen rock and flesh. Both of their technologies were very advanced, though their appearance was not so, but the reason they were warring was just as futile as any reason to go to war (over food). Their leaders were arguing back and forth, with large groups of warriors behind them (though I could not understand them at first), and I leaped over the top of them and they looked at me, then double-took and all turned in my direction. The leader of the machine people said something in his language that was meant to be a question for me. I replayed what he said in my mind, requesting a translation from the dream so that I'd understand him. It converted what he said to "what are you, and where do you come from?". In order to stop the mindless killing I thought would be ahead, I flared up my fur and made my eyes glow red and they all took a step back in awe and I broadcast out loud with my mind (asking the dream to translate my words into words they would understand internally) "I am the guardian, sent to watch over these lands, and your people. There will be no war here today, you will come to an agreement of peace, or you are to challenge me." The right hand man of the general of the rock/flesh people decided he wanted to test me and said "I don't believe you!" and charged at me. The others stood there and watched him. He raised his weapon high, and I used energy to blast him backwards into a form of tree. The tree was splintered into a thousand pieces. He stood up and returned to his place with his people, saying nothing. I looked around, basically challenging anyone who wanted to try their hand in combat. No one approached me.

At this the leaders were fearful, and spent the next few hours designing a peace agreement. They used this kind of energy based board to draw up all the terms in this interesting picture-based language. This drew the civilians outside to see what was happening. After the agreement was set, the people of both sides started to celebrate. I quickly disappeared, and continued to explore.
