Exclamation a question or two about astral projection.

So, I recently have become interested in astral projection. Can you do it during the day? Is it safe?

Robert Monroe was very famous for his out-of-body travels (and he wrote three books on the subject). He often did his excursions during a mid-morning nap, and did not consider it risky at all.

On the flip side, he actually died.

But then again, he was 79 at the time.

Time doesn't matter with AP, mindset and state does.

Yes, AP is not tied to REM.

I would recommend reading some good books.

These two are actually descriptions of how they stumbled onto APs, how they started, how they figured out things through experimentation.

William Buhlman's Adventures beyond the body
Robert Monroe's Journeys out of the body

They both wrote more than these books.

William Buhlman's Adventures beyond the body was my intro to Obe's It's a great read. A combination of journal entries, scienctific finds, and theories based on his experiences. If you want to expedite the learning curve look into indirect techniques posted on obe4u.com or consider looking into galantamine widely consider to be the most effective lucid aid supplement.
