Here is the self-hypnosis script that I use:
One thing I want to get straight about hypnosis. It is not like you see on the movies where people click their fingers and your asleep then you do some crazy shit you can't remember and they snap their fingers and your awake again.
Hypnosis is just making suggestions/affirmations to the subconscious, you can move around and think still... its not like your completely paralyzed or have no control over your body. its perfectly safe, you just got to make sure the suggestions/affirmations are to your like-ing.
I usually perform hypnosis on my self (aka self-hypnosis), but if you want to bring forward memories from your subconscious then its best to see a professional and not try to do this yourself.
(This needs to be memorized if doing self-hypnosis)
Lets begin...
get really comfortably lying down with eyes closed
use your conscious voice to guide you deeper into a meditative state.
say to yourself before you start "i want you to relax completely, letting go of all tension in the body"
say "you are now going to relax each part of your body, and as each part becomes more relaxed, you are going to go deeper and deeper into a hypnotic/meditative/trance-like state"
say "now beginning with your toes... feel each individual toe relax, feel the tension being released as they become heavier and heavier, more and more relaxed"
say "now the relaxation spreads to your feet, they are becoming more and more relaxed, heavier and heavier, as you go deeper and deeper into a hypnotic state"
say "the relaxation is now spreading up to your ankles..."
***keep adding the words "they are becoming more and more relaxed, heavier and heavier, as you go deeper and deeper into a hypnotic state" *** and actually feel it happening
***continue doing this to every basic body part:
relax everything:
relax calves
relax behind the knees
relax upper legs
relax hip and abdomen
relax hands
relax forearms
relax upperarms
relax chest
relax shoulders
relax neck
relax jaw
relax tongue
relax lips
relax cheeks
relax forehead
relax eyebrows, eyelids
relax mind
***remember to keep adding those words "they are becoming more and more relaxed, heavier and heavier, as you go deeper and deeper into a hypnotic state"
then do an overall one for your whole body "your entire body is now completely relaxed, heavy, and in a deep hypnotic state"
then say "I'm going to start counting from 10 to 1 and as i do you are going to become more and more relaxed going deeper and deeper into a meditative trance-like state, when I reach 1 you will be completely relaxed and in the deepest meditative state imaginable" ***keep adding words after each count like 'more and more relaxed' and 'deeper still' etc.
then say "you are now completely open to my suggestions & affirmations and will do whatever they tell you"
Now you can freely start your suggestions/affirmations and they should modify/overwrite your subconscious programming. e.g. "you are a kind loving person" "you communicate well" etc.
Once your done, just say "im going to start counting from 10 to 1 and as i do you are going to become more and more awake, when i reach 1 you will be completely awake and refreshed."
then start counting and each step along the way say "becoming more and more awake" "conscious control returning" "movement coming back" etc.
It is not completely necessary to do this counting till your awake thing, however it is desireable. I have just opened my eyes whilst in this deep meditative state or even gone to sleep afterwards and didn't notice any ill-effects.
