Congratz ! You could have done some stabilizations like rubbing your hands together and engaging all your senses, it's a good way of grounding yourself to the dream world. I think you had the fear of waking up on the back of your head, which probably had it's play on making you wake up. " I stood up, telling my dream self over and over ~" , remember that you're exactly the same person as in waking life. Just your consciousness, not your body Bringing yourself into the lucid dream ( like your memories ~ all that you have learned about lucid dreaming ) helps you take control of the situation, prolong the lucid and it helps you remember what you intended to do too. I had a red dressed lady walk up to me and she said the exactly same thing to me, just like that : " You're dreaming." Good job , you're on your way ! Thank you so much for the tips! I'll be sure to remember that next time. I was rather scared of waking up.
