Dude. That's scary, but it's kinda cool, too. The protagonist of my most recent novel (I write as a hobby) is a DC who comes to realize that he is one, and he reacts similarly, though he uses a sneak attack on his dreamer rather than a direct one. It's good to know that it's plausible for DCs to react that way.
That's pretty cool. The best part about dreaming is you can do things that you couldn't normally do in reality, but if a DC stopped you from changing, that's awful! You should be able to do whatever you want; it's your dream! At least you had a cool dream - mine are all boring! :( Congrats on the lucid, too.

I had that happen to me last night, too. It was my second time having a two-level dream, but my first time having lucidity in the second level but not the first. I don't have time to type up full details as a DJ entry this week, but I'll get back to it eventually.
