Lol, yeah, I'm pretty happy it turned out to be only a partially agressive mouse rather than something much scarier. Irl I was a bit creeped out what would be there but luckily my subcon came up with this.

I need to play with it more, but I read about a tek where you hold a dream object and stay aware of it being in your hand while you do your thing. It takes more concentration, but it seemed to help. I think the most important thing for me is to just keep moving.

The totem tech sounds interesting. I remember in a couple of lds a bottle of coke had self summoned in my hand and holding on to it, especially at moments of instability seemed to help. I also agree about the keep moving part.

Why is fire so tricky? I may end up going for earth or water if can I ever remember. I think next time I'll not thing of the eye candy so much and just focus on the end result. Maybe imagine intense heat in a certain spot. It looks like that's what you did though.

At some point I find myself inside this place and recall another of the element bending tasks - to set something on fire. Me and another DC are in a building so I try to set one of the corridors on fire by summoning flames on the walls. I also get the other DC to do the same, but neither of us is fully successful - though we manage to get the corridor to be covered in orange colored fire like decorations.

Lol about the gingko biloba! Yet, are almost right, I do have the caps nearby, so these fellows must have self incubated into the dream. Perhaps they are trying to tell me to take them on my next dream journey.

Yes, that was a very nice experience precisely because the whole task completion was so spontaneous.
