Yes, it's called the "third eye" or the 6th chakra. Right between the eyebrows. Your first dream appears to be a fascinating insight of acceptance, as Nebulus said. It seems as if your higher-self is showing you the relation of how you perceive yourself and who you really are: the transparent image appears to be the perception and the other is the intrinsic you. Or perhaps its vice-versa. There's not much difference between the two (you really are transparent, which is a very admirable quality to have), and they are in harmony, but for some reason there's a "block" or a reluctance to embrace this harmony in your subconscious. Maybe this is due to vulnerability, because you've been hurt in the past because of your transparency (which certain people can take advantage of, if they see it as a weakness). In any case, it riled your emotions to the point of awakening you.

Very cool that your subcon allowed a deport right at the time trauma would occur (the cut). Definitely indicates control on your part, and a healthy mental defense mechanism. Sleep deprivation certainly can cause some whacky stuff to happen in our dreams! Sorry you're going through some nightmares right now; the good thing is that we can benefit from them even more than from the happy, innocuous dreams. That is, if we investigate the symbols. We can get some great insight into our current psyche and stress/emotional levels from analyzing spooky dreams!

You know often when you think things are the worst often they are not, haven't you found that?

The full moon ceremony and golden star and barrels is quite fascinating. Never heard of anything like it, ceremoniously or even symbolically. I think if you dream of gold objects it's supposed to be an indicator of a discovered talent or a hidden worth in yourself or others. But the golden barrel attachment to the golden points is mysterious. It seems very profound. Barrels are used to hold something of worth (wine, oil) with the connotation of increased value with aging -- sort of like an investment. It would definitely be worth looking into via meditation and seeking from your Higher Self a greater illumination of its meaning.
