DJ Log: March 17, 2013 – 9:30AM (USA Eastern)

I am at an military surplus store with a friend I haven't seen in a long time. We're at the register lane and are looking at all the things on the shelves near the front. There is an aisle end cap which has shirts and pants on it. As we slowly move along the line, we see another end cap which has some tactical vests on it. I pick out one which has some large pockets on it. My friend picks up a different one, saying that he wants it because it has a pocket large enough for a machete.

I am at a friend's house and ask for a cup of coffee. He hands me a bag of decaf and a filter to put in the machine. I look at him like he has two heads and say, “What is this crap?”

I drive into a parking lot at a strip mall then walk into a store looking for a wacky hat for a party. The store didn't have any, but the cashier suggested that I try another store at the other end of the strip mall. I walk down the sidewalk past a long row of shopping carts. Near the end of the row, there is a hobo looking guy wearing a corset. He is telling another guy that his lady friend passed out along the wall and he asks them what that smell is on her. He says that he thinks she shit her pants. The guy says, “That's not shit, that's death.” I continue walking and skip the other store. Wanting nothing to do with this mess, I walk into the parking lot and make my way back to the car.

I am driving down a road with a guy in the truck with me. The back seat is full of luggage and what not. Suddenly I realize that I'm running through a red light and there is a cop sitting just ahead, so I put on my right blinker and turn into a Sheets convenience store. I walk into the store and approach the food counter. A guy behind the counter is slicing a large steak into strips. He asks what I want. I tell him that the steak looks good and ask him to make me a steak sub. After a brief moment, he hands me a sub roll packed full of thick slices of raw steak.

Went into office and all of the walls were freshly painted. All of the stuff in the lab was gone and the workbench was empty.

(Note: This was a short dream into which I transitioned due to external stimuli. I have no recall of the previous dream.)

I am running through a dark room, trying to find the phone that is ringing. When I pass a doorway, I hear the phone ringing. I run in and pick up the handset but the line is dead, much like the scene in The Matrix when Cypher flips out and betrays everyone.

After a short moment, I hear another phone ringing. I turn around to find it and suddenly wake up to my cell phone ringing. My ring tone is the vintage Western Electric bell ringer.

(Note: This entry was written in my DJ notebook, but it never made it into the computer.)

I am on the phone with one of our vendors, discussing our price schedule and volume discounts. He is a bit indecisive on what percentage of discount to give for each group of items, so I offer a percentage and he agrees.

DJ Log: August 26, 2012 – 5:30AM (USA Pacific)

I am running around on an elevated wooden raceway, playing some kind of ball game with a few other players. The raceway has several broken boards which reveal a large canyon underneath. There are a few buildings which the track passes through. The track has a short rail along the edge in some areas, but drops off into the canyon in others. We are knocking tennis balls down the track with golf clubs, trying to avoid dropping the balls into the canyon.

At one point, my ball jumps off the track and lands in a pile of junk in the corner of a building. When I climb over to get it, I find that it is balanced on the center of a small board with openings on both sides. I give it a whack and it rolls up and out of the building. I run after the ball to find that it rolled around the building and landed in a large field beside the building. I hear one of the other players say, “Nice shot!”

I am running through the darkness while Nemesis by VNV Nation is echoing throughout the area in which I am running.

I am bicycling up the mountain road with my brother to go pick up my box truck which I left behind a few days ago. Along the way, we stop and pick up some bamboo, then go down a narrow dirt lane. I tell him that I parked it back here near one of the ponds. We arrive at the truck and find that the parking pull-off is flooded and it is up to its frame in flood water.

I am walking with a friend through a development where I spent a few years of my childhood. We are walking around a few of the streets, remembering who used to live in which house and talking about old times.

I am walking down a mall corridor with a cute dark-haired guy, looking for a good place to make out. He stops and gives me a quick kiss, then we walk into a store which looks like it's closed. The lights are dim and there are several hot tubs full of yucky water. In the back of the store, there is a steam sauna. The guy dips his arm into the water in one of the tubs, then tells me that the water is burning his arm. I turn on a faucet and rinse off his arm, then we walk out into the mall corridor again.

DJ Log: February 27, 2012 – 7:00AM (USA Eastern)

Walking around inside a motor home, checking things out. Someone is in the shower and I can smell and feel the steam from the shower. Shortly afterward, someone gets in the driver seat and starts adjusting the suspension levelers. The motor home nearly tips over, then I get in the seat and set them properly.

A long-haired blonde is talking to me, and he keeps moving in closer to me as he's talking. Eventually he makes contact with me and I can feel that he is fully hard. He presses in tightly and moves in for a kiss just as I wake up.

I am trying to take a photo of something, but my camera flash will not fire. I try several times, then pull the head off the flash and find that the xenon tube has burned out and melted a hole in the diffuser.
