    Wandering in Dream Debris.

    3rd Person Abduction

The details are very foggy but the main part of the dream was pretty alarming. It begins with a woman, who I'm not familiar with, and she's speaking to me and a friend about something totally normal and boring. She vaguely changes the subject to a story, but the way it unfolded in the dream was a bit odd. I didn't hear her say any words but I knew she was telling the story, I suppose through pictures and ideas.

I see her waking up in the middle of the night in her bed. She flips over and notices her baby isn't in the bed next to her, there was never mention of a baby and I didn't see one, but somehow I knew that's what was happening in the story. She looks frantically on the bed in search for it when suddenly a very bright light emits from the ceiling and she looks up screaming but I couldn't hear anything, there was just this great sense of terror and I knew she was being abducted.

Just like that I wake up from the dream. With a very odd sense... like I hadn't just woken up, like I was already awake the whole time? I wasn't the slightest bit sleepy, I felt very alert. So I reach over for my phone to use the recorder on it to take note of my dream and oddly the time was 3:33am. Weird.

yeah it's an odd feeling, especially to have in the middle of the night haha. i've had similar experiences before when i'm drifting off to sleep or watching hypnagogic imagery, when suddenly i snap back to full waking consciousness. but i've never had the feeling straight after waking up from a dream, it was really eerie to say the least.

:E glad i'm not the only one though!
