Choi's Journey of the Conscious Mind

Here I write down my attempts and experiences from my nightly experiences (lucid dreams, Obe's and APing)

It sometime might look like I am trying to sell out my techniques, so I apologize for that. But it's just my way of writing it in order to motivate myself.

I personally hate "BEST TECHNIQUE THREADS" or technique threads at all for that matter, because I allways seem to put all my confidence and belief in the technique, but when I try it and fail I just blame myself... Instead of learning it my own way and put the confidence and believe in myself.

You can of course still read about techniques and methods, but just see them as guidelines and not bullet proof science. Believe me it's easy to get into that mindset.
And by the way, even science can be prooved wrong ;)

So be crtical while reading this.. I just hope that you learn from my experience the same way I have learned from others like:

Tim Post - Lucidipedia.com
DreamWarrior - Wakeupinyourdreams.com
Michael Raduga - obe4u.com
Frank Kepple - Astral Pulse
My friends Fredrik, Tony and Philip
Thomas Campbell and Bob Monroe - The Monroe Institute
And all the great members of Dreamviews!

Enjoy!

Dream
Thoughts

On this Wake Back to bed I were only up to go to the bathroom and I did put on socks to keep my feet warm, then I fell asleep with the timer on. A great tip that helped me fall asleep, focus on your breathing, if you are really good at meditation you might keep awake, but if your not you will black out.
I counted up to 5 alarms before I started to have a dream

I were on a school and was going to park my bike, but I just couldn't lock it. So I stood there for a long time and raged over my bike.

Then the sixth alarm woke me up, and I blacked out again.

I was watching Tom and Jerry, but not from a TV perspective I was there and I was transformed into a cartoon bear. Some of my friends thought it was a game and I chased them. Then I couldn't find them anyway, so I looked out through the window and saw that they were out on the garden. I climbed out to the high roof and the phantom beep from the alarm made me aware I guess, because it came from nowhere. I looked down on my worried friends and I thought that I really should try to fly down from here. But how? If I don't believe it I will fall straight down. I thought "I will do it I am AWESOME!" So I took a leap of faith, but it was a bumpy fly attempt, because I didn't really had control over it. And because of that I lost my lucidity immediately...

The dream continued and I crash landed on a hill and started to roll down in pain. Then my friends just stopped playing and looked at me with sad faces. I asked what's going on? And then I saw a newpaper with a picture of my mom and the headline said (I don't remember) but for some reason I realised that she was dead. So I started crying, but then the dream morhped into a tv-serie I can't even explain it because nothing maked sense. It was wierd.

I then woke up in my bed.. When I wrote this DJ entry I knew what alarm I were on, but while I was doing this I had no idea, so when I woke up I thought I had missed the 20 minute intervalls, so I tried to go back to sleep, but I just couldn't. And I gave up and looked at the timer and saw that I had slept through all the alarms, and the reason to that I became lucid was the phantom beep.
But in the future I have to be more aware of what alarm I am on, and every time I get lucid I have to remember to stabilize.
