Choi's Journey of the Conscious Mind

Here I write down my attempts and experiences from my nightly experiences (lucid dreams, Obe's and APing)

It sometime might look like I am trying to sell out my techniques, so I apologize for that. But it's just my way of writing it in order to motivate myself.

I personally hate "BEST TECHNIQUE THREADS" or technique threads at all for that matter, because I allways seem to put all my confidence and belief in the technique, but when I try it and fail I just blame myself... Instead of learning it my own way and put the confidence and believe in myself.

You can of course still read about techniques and methods, but just see them as guidelines and not bullet proof science. Believe me it's easy to get into that mindset.
And by the way, even science can be prooved wrong ;)

So be crtical while reading this.. I just hope that you learn from my experience the same way I have learned from others like:

Michael Raduga - obe4u.com
Frank Kepple - Astral Pulse
My friends Fredrik, Tony and Philip

And all the great members of Dreamviews!

Enjoy!

1. Lucidity vs. Emotions

I remembered one dream before my WBTB. I was playing the old school game Counter Strike with someone named Axel and it was too easy.

This timer attempt was the closet I have ever been to waking sleep paralysis, but I fell for one of the body's test signals.
On the second alarm (8 + 4 = 12 min after my WBTB) I woke up and I felt that my muscles had the small vibration feeling, (like the feeling you have when you yawn). Then my nose tip started to itch like crazy, I thought that this was just another test signal, so I resisted for some seconds and my muscles started to get more paralysed, but then I just couldn't resist anymore and I got up and scrratched my nose...

Then I turned off the timer and went back to sleep.

I had a dream about me and my family eating breakfast. We looked out over the water and sat on a stone staircase.
But the breakfast was 1 km (0.6 miles) away, so I had to walk through a park and to a table places in the middle of nowhere.
I started to make my sandwishes and pancakes, then I see three guys approaching me and they want to steal the food!
I said "Hey what the F* are you guys think you are doing" and they gave me a (stay out of this or I will crush you) look and I had to run away. When I ran I felt that I only had to take one step then jump and I levitated a bit, and that made me a little more aware. When I came back to the others they looked surprised at me and asked "Where have you been?" and I went through everything that I had done in my head, and I said to my dad "That can only mean one thing".
I AM DREAMING! This time the lucidity was so high that I could easily understand that my parents and my friends were Dream Characters. I thought "Wow now I can try to do things I would never dare in the real world" jumping from high heights, doing flips but the first thing I did was walking up to a hot girl and talk to her ...
I said "Hey I am not nervous to say anything because this is a dream and you are not real" she just laughed, then I did a double backflip and she was amazed. Hah random pick up techniques. Then I climbed to the top of this staircase and saw the first girl I fell in love with. My lucidity dropped... but still very aware. I said "Hey Liza how are you doing?" and she answered "Is this one of your impress me things? Because it wont work" ... I then thought Hmm if I have superpowers she might get interested in me .
My emotions were stronger than the lucidity, so this hyper lucid dream was wasted on girls...
So what did I do? I made an attempt to crush the glaswindow and fly, but I couldn't even scrath it so I fell down to the floor in pain. Lucidity dropped I hope, because the next thing I did was gay and embarrassing. I started to zone out and had one of my Stewie Musical moments (Watch this and you will understand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DI6BEFWUU0k&feature=related) (I am not like this for real!) I started to sing and dragged her with me and I danced and sang like a love musical. I don't no where I got the inspiration and above all the lyrics, but I went well.

When I finally was free from this curse, I were standing in Santas workshop and the Santa thought that I had been so nice so he gave me the power of flying! So I flew out the window and in super speed (I couldn't even control it) I flew straight into a building... And when I turned around I saw that it was my friend's apartment. So with all my powers I tried to fix it with telekinesis, but I only made the bricks shake a little.

Then I woke up and for the first time ever I felt exahausted, I don't believe in energy ways or something like that, but when I woke up I felt so tired that I thought for a second that it was because of wasting enegry in the dream.
