Choi's Journey of the Conscious Mind

Here I write down my attempts and experiences from my nightly experiences (lucid dreams, Obe's and APing)

It sometime might look like I am trying to sell out my techniques, so I apologize for that. But it's just my way of writing it in order to motivate myself.

I personally hate "BEST TECHNIQUE THREADS" or technique threads at all for that matter, because I allways seem to put all my confidence and belief in the technique, but when I try it and fail I just blame myself... Instead of learning it my own way and put the confidence and believe in myself.

You can of course still read about techniques and methods, but just see them as guidelines and not bullet proof science. Believe me it's easy to get into that mindset.
And by the way, even science can be prooved wrong ;)

So be crtical while reading this.. I just hope that you learn from my experience the same way I have learned from others like:

Michael Raduga - obe4u.com

And all the great members of Dreamviews!

Enjoy!

1. Note Dreams Again.

Hypnagogic

Today I noted my dreams as usual, and I ended up with four remembered dreams.

How To Fly:
In the first one I dreamt that I knew how to fly in real life and I was teaching my friend how to do it. And I told him to imagine that the air was like water, and to fly all he had to do was to jump into the air and start imagining that he was swmming. I felt that I wasn't in complete control of the flying, so I told him that this is just to start levitating, to control the flying he had to do something that he associated with control, like put one arm out like superman.
He did and now we both controlled the flying. I might have become lucid somewhere here, because I got very aware.
But it was just a second of lucidity so I wouldn't count it as a lucid dream.

RPG Game:
Then i had a dream about me being in the world of Rift and I can't quite remember now what it was about, but it was a rpg environment.

Suck at soccer - Finding the bus:
I was playing soccer with some people and from the middle of the court I was supposed to get the ball into the goal with a goalkeeper guarding it. All the other guys did a pretty good job, but when I tried it I almost made the ball stuck in a tree. And I was embarrassed. When were gonig to get back home again, I couldn't find the bus. A guy told me that he could drive me to the bus station, because I couldnät find it. But we never found it and we stopped next to a gas station.
They went into a store and I followed, In there I talked to a woman, but I can't remember what we talked about.

Then I woke up. The next night I am going to use the timer method to have a lucid dream, every time I have tried it and everything have worked out perfectly with the settings and so on, I have allways got atleast a moment of lucidity. So I will use this timer to get experience of the lucid dream world.

I am also going to test out the theory of waking sleep paralysis, without sleep atonia is almost impossible.
So if I see vivid images or hear weird sounds I am going to get out of my bed imeddaitelly, because in theory this is only a dream bed. Although I have to be prepared to that this can still lead to a normal awakening, but I have learned to feel the different sensations of the non-physical and the physical world so hopefully I will notice it.
