    Book of Cursed Dreams

    Lucid Minecraft to SP

I entered the dream using WILD. With my eyes closed I began to feel a very comforting flowing and swooshing sensation over my whole body. I thought to myself it felt like I was drifting through water. Pixel art of a waterfall engulfed my vision and I immediately felt myself falling under water. Looking up I could see small land masses made up of cubes. "Oh boy another Minecraft dream..."

I was still falling and sinking deeper in the water and I began to look up and down 3 times to confirm that the dream was stable. I willed myself to float upward, just below the surface of the water now looking directly at the underside of the blocks I imagined what it was like to walk on grass blocks and I just as I imagined, I floated up to the land and then onto the grass finally.

I had to contain my excitement as I could see some wood logs, they were probably 4x the normal texture of Minecraft wood, the water was now gone leaving only land. "What if I just play normal Minecraft in my dream?" I began to mine the blocks, once the log brock the a image of the block replaced the one I broke, like a recursive screen shot every time I broke it, it got smaller. I still got the wood though. "Alright let's make a crafting table"

I attempt to open my inventory but instead I opened the menu of the game and I could see some text about this being a mod-pack. "What am I even doing, playing Minecraft in a dream isn't even fun.." I began to fade and I could now sense my body, suddenly I felt swooshing body sensations along with a pressure in my chest. I imagined putting my finger in my mouth and it felt real, but when I opened my eyes, I could clearly see my hand wasn't there and I was staring at the wall I fell asleep looking at. I closed my eyes and let the sensations pass and woke.

I like to use AI to draw my dreams sometimes

Any chance you'd like to join Spring Competition? You get points for pictures, more if they are hand-drawn too!

I'd love to sign up but I'm not really sure what level i would consider myself as i feel i just made a bit of a break through on my method for getting LDs. As for keeping active i just joined and im testing the waters currently.

I'll get back with you next week

Cool! General rule of thumb for level is:

Beginner = Less than one LD per week.
Intermediate = About one LD per week.
Expert = More than one LD per week.

I'd say if you are interested in getting more LDs, comp definitely helps with keeping inspired. I pretty much always have more lucids during comp compared to other times.
