    Another Failed WILD into Hell

    My first LD at the new house yaaaaaay! Been sick with a little cold so I was tossing and turning a lot. Usually causes me to wild early, like 7am. It was a struggle initially I'll explainers later. I got there finally and went to the floor to phase through to hell but my face smashed on the carpet. Tried again and got through. I yelled down the tunnel I'M COMMING! I saw the devils head for a sec, and some other beings walking around at the bottom. I summoned a rope and spelunkered(?) to the bottom. By the time I got there, everyone was gone. I walked around some dark, dank caves, nothing. I even found a cave with some really creepy dark silvery wavy water. I yelled names like Hades!!? Mephistopheles!!? Nothing. Woke up before I could think to try the turn around summon trick.

    DEILDed back in my room, went outside, saw some little kids, remembered to ask one what the meaning of life is, canNOT remember the answer!!! Took them flying though. Serves me right for being so desperate for the totm that I ask a two year old.

      Congrats on your new place ld! That was pretty close again!

      By the way do you insist on the portal being on the floor, I think there's no requirement for that right? I think it might be easier to make it vertical, maybe use the fireplace or even a mirror to create it there? Portals are multidimensional so I guess it should be fine. Man, I know you are gonna nail this one!

      Yeah I already thought about trying the mirror. The thing with the floor was that my subC easily turned it into a way to hell. Mirrors tend to give me varied results. But I'm tired of wasting ld time climbing down tunnels. Not to mention it gives the locals too much of a heads up to pack their things and move haha.

      Oh, I see. Now you have lots of experience so maybe you will be able to project the portal onto the wall so that you don't need to phase or climb down.

      Thanks, I'll keep trying for sure! I even thought of an idea: next time I'll conjur the beers right away. That way, if I get lucky and bump into Beelzebub, no time will be wasted :p

      Ha ha, awesome! Nothing like breaking in the new house by WILDing into hell. I can't believe all the demons and other little hell-critters weren't there to greet you after your spelunked and/or spelunkered your way down there! You are definitely gonna get this one, just a matter of time.

      I also like your idea of conjuring the beers in advance. That way if you want him to show you can do a whole "here you go!" expectation bit with that beer. The moment he even grabs it, you start chugging. Hopefully he will too. Even if he doesn't, totally counts!
