    Welcome to my dream journal.

    1. I.. Can't Explain This...

by , 11-02-2011 at 09:12 PM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
I'm not too sure what this dream was about. Thank god I am finally getting out of this sickness I've been having though. Its hard to recall dreams when all you want to do when you get up in the middle of the night to write down your dreams is continue sleeping. Well... not anymore!

I just remember being in an underground and depressing area. Well.. maybe it wasn't underground. It was very depressing and dark though. It was also raining.

I walked to an elevator and started to go up as the weight that helps to move the elevator up and down began to move back and forth. I don't think it fell, but I was worrying that it might. I then remember going somewhere with an uncle of some sort until I woke up.
It just.. wasn't a normal dream. Boring too.
    2. The Jewels

by , 11-01-2011 at 05:49 PM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
Very vivid dream when I took a nap a few minutes ago. Interesting too.

The dream started out pretty normal. I was off to school one morning and I was walking with my friends. This school I went to was a sort of museum. It held tons of priceless artifacts, and we were always told not to touch the items. Well, we get to school and some random guy walks up to us. He tells us we need to get these three diamonds or else really bad things were going to happen. My two friends and I agree to this and go into school to set up a plan.
The dream skips to the night where we have infiltrated the school and we go up to the diamonds. We open the case and grab them without setting off the alarm. We are standing in the middle of this hallway when suddenly the diamonds are forced out of our hands as they float above us. We are pushed back by a strange force coming from the diamonds as some strange government looking men come up to us. They ask for the diamonds and they promise if we give them to them we won't be hurt. I quickly jump on and grab the diamonds as we make our escape from these men.
The next day I begin to feel odd about this. It feels like a movie I have seen before. While waiting for lunch at school me and my friends start talking and I swear everything we are saying is right from the script of this movie I can't think of. We need to find out what to do next to keep these diamonds safe from whoever wants them.
As we exit school we are kidnapped and put onto a moving train. They somehow got the diamonds and were going to use them for evil. We push the men off the train and grab the diamonds, saving the day. I then wake up.

This is probably one of the first dreams where the story that started in the dream was actually finished!
    3. I <3 Floor

by , 11-01-2011 at 12:40 PM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
We start in a forest of sone sort and I am with a friend I don't know IRL. We become bored with what we are doing and decide to go to the mall. We call someone up and the car suddenly arrives.
We reach the mall and meet a few of ny friends in it. After awhile we get bored and decide to play a game inside the mall. Hide and Seek. Not much really happens during this time.
When we finish we all go back to my house. On the way I tell my friend I want to learn a good way to WILD so I can lucid dream. My friend then tells me a great idea would be to listen to "I <3 Floor" by <3.
I listened to a bit and it was simple singing. There were almost no lyrics. When we reach the house we play darts. Someone throws a tennis ball out of my closet but it turns out to be a ghost or something because no one was in it.
      The dream the ended.

Nothing too fun but my recall is improving. Only problem is that I am sick so I have been forgetting most of my dreams. And I have trouble sleeping...

    4. Just Another Chase Dream...

by , 10-31-2011 at 12:25 PM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
I need to pay more attention. I barely remember even one dream. Looks like this will take a bit more effort than I though. Oh well, it will be worth it!

      My Only Dream
I was being chased by an unseen force. I entered some sort of indoor city while my friends helped me escape. This was a sort of Mirrors Edge like dream. The only different thing was the buildings were made from Minecraft blocks and everything else was more realistic.
I escape with two of my friends and I wake up.

    5. My Little Alternate Universe

by , 10-31-2011 at 03:11 AM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
This dream happened years ago. And when I say that I mean YEARS. I was probably 8-9 years old. All I know is that it is probably the most memorable, and vivid, dream I have ever had. An interesting thing about this dream was that this was before I knew what lucid dreaming was. You will understand why that is important later...
This dream probably spanned over the course of six months, but it skipped forward quite a bit. Just... you'll find out.

      Just A Normal Day...
I awake in my bed with usual ease and quickly venture down the stairs. Nothing seems wrong, and why should it? I get myself some breakfast and get ready for school when my sister comes down and asks what I'm doing here. Of course, I question this as my father comes in and looks at me in sudden shock. It doesn't take long before he explains to me that I died in a car accident about 5 years ago with my mother. What? My mom isn't dead. I saw her last night before I went to bed.
I begin to explain this to them as they sit there and contemplate what is happening. They ask me how I got here. I explain to them I went to bed last night and now I'm here. Simple as that. My father figures it out. I am dreaming. I am dreaming in "their world". I really don't want to be here though. I want to be home with my real family, and to live my life normally. My father sends my sister off to school and tries to figure out how to wake me up.

      The Solution... Sorta
After a few hours my dad finally thinks of something. I will live in this life for the time being while he works out a way to wake me up. This isn't the solution I was hoping for but I realized I could easily come to live in this world.
Here is the thing. This is the world I have always wanted. This is my version of a utopia where nothing is wrong. In this world my house was exactly the same (back when I was 8-9), but it was placed in a neighborhood instead of the country. I hate the country. Not that I despise it, but I don't want to live in it.
Can't say my idea on the country has changed since then...
I think a month or two skipped. I was still living in this world and I had grown to love it. I still wanted to return home though. This dream may seem boring to you but it was the life I have always wanted. I almost feel sadness thinking about returning though. I would return to this dream any day though, and I plan on returning to it once I get more control of my lucid abilities.
Well, anyway, there was this insane storm. It was crazy and the lights were flickering on and off, and I can tell you I was pretty terrified of it. My dad suddenly realized out computer wasn't turned off and if we kept it on then if the power went off it could kill it. We all run upstairs and shut it off as the power goes out. We made it just in time. Time then skips another month.

      The First Attempt
There was one really strange thing about this dream. It was logical (for the most part). Nothing seemed off about it. Time was always how it should have been, and everything in my house was the exact same way in my real house.
I awoke at about 11 at night for some reason and was so excited because I thought I was finally awake. I also had a sudden wave of sadness as I walked down the stairs. I never even got to say goodbye. Things changed as I entered the kitchen. Our living room connects to the kitchen and I saw my dad watching TV in it. I looked into my kitchen and noticed that one of our tables was replaced with some strange blue laser machine. I asked my dad what it was and he told me it should shock me awake. I was pretty happy. And I also wasn't. I said my goodbye to him and told him to tell my sister goodbye as I walked into the laser.
      Nothing.
I was still here and nothing had changed. He had a disappointed look because his contraption didn't work, but I knew he was happy I was still there. I could just feel it. I went on up to bed again and slept.

      The Pickle Salesmen
My sister arrived home from school and told me that her class was selling pickles to win a trip of your choice. I thought going around the neighborhood would be a great idea, and she had no trouble agreeing. We set off from the house and sold those pickles like wildfire. That sounds... really, really weird.
We sold enough to win her the trip and we returned home. My dad then told me he might have a way to finally send me home. He was keeping it a surprise until the next day though. For some reason I was wishing that day would never come. This was my home now. I almost wanted it to be...

      The Final Goodbye
I awoke, still in the dream, and did some normal things. It was around noon when I went outside and started to hang with some of my friends that I had made during my time in this dream. My father came up carrying a skateboard and told me that I could go home now. He put the skateboard down and told me to lie on my back on it, and then push. It would wake me up.
I knew this was the end. I was leaving for good. This was probably the most emotional goodbye that I have ever had to make in a dream. I hugged everyone around my block and got on the skateboard. Everyone was smiling. I really remember that. They were so happy for me. I just laid there while they waited for me to finally return from where I came.
I let out that final goodbye and pushed. I flew backwards. The skateboard went faster and faster, but I still saw their waves of goodbye in the midst of the blur. The neighborhood slowly turned into a speck as I flew further and further back into blackness. I suddenly awoke in my bed the next morning.
      I was home...

I am going back. Nothing will stop me from returning there. I don't care if that was just a memory in my head being morphed into something bigger than it needed to be, but I will never forget this dream. I think about it all the time, and this proves there is nothing but joy in a dream if you really believe in it. I may have been lucid, but I didn't care. I just wanted to be there. If I had known what lucid dreaming was during that time I bet you I would have skipped this entire adventure by. In the midst of my mind there is one thing that will always stand out forever, and ever.
      This one, single, dream.
    6. My Grandparents Live Where?

by , 10-30-2011 at 07:28 PM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
I don't remember this one much. I remember venturing to my grandparents for some reason (I believe for the summer or something) to stay for about a week. When I got there something felt wrong. I didn't feel very home. It felt very odd, and the entire area was very trashy looking and my grandparents live in a very clean house.
I don't remember the story of the dream but I remember being driven to some sort of a skyscraper in a giant city. There was some place that we ate dinner and then I woke up.
Yeah... not the most interesting dream I've ever had.
    7. The Liquid Void

by , 10-30-2011 at 05:07 AM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
I quickly release the seatbelt and get out of the car. My friend does the same as he runs into the water. I don't think much of the strange puddles surrounding the building we had driven to, but a screech from my friend quickly brings some logic into my sleeping mind.
A dark void seems to be held within these spots of water with strange leaves floating through it. My friends mother quickly yells at us for daring to look into these puddles, so from there we don't bother to discover it's secrets.
I don't really take into account the size of the mansion we enter but it for sure is large. It houses the family of one of my friends before he had moved away a few years back. As we enter he greets us and asks us to go downstairs to have something to eat.
By the time we get down there I somehow end up in a pyramid of sorts surrounded by a large city. A voice tells me how to carry out a task I am told to do and I have no trouble pulling it off. It involved assassinating a man because of a conspiracy of sorts. I walk up to his, almost, lifeless body as he begins to speak. He speaks of liquid that sees the truth. It can find what you are missing. He points at a puddle that was similar to the one I had seen earlier and I tell him about it.
He suddenly jolts back in a more surprised manner as he breaths heavily. He then enters a state of rage and attempts to kill me. I am pushed backwards and hit the side of the wall. I am suddenly thrust into the puddle below me as lights flash before my eyes. Voices speaking to me through something in my ear fly by and slowly become distorted and strange as I fall down an infinite void of oddly shaped leaves.
I feel the world move faster and faster while the continuous growls of the man ring through my ear. Soon they are nothing but a high pitched squeal as I see light at the end of the fall. I smile with joy and hit the light. I suddenly jolt awake in my bed away from the horrors that the liquid void took me through.

Whatever the heck happened I don't think its the end. I am going to force myself into a LD and continue the story of this dream. This is one of the most memorable (action) dreams I have ever had. What is the Liquid Void really?

    8. Jail Escape

by , 07-12-2011 at 03:12 PM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
We were at school and the bell was about to ring. If you didn't reach your class in time you would be sent to jail, so we were all freaking out. Now there was a couple that seemed very unlikely to be together, but that didn't matter yet. So, I tried to make it to my classroom, but in the end I ended up in jail. The odd couple joined me too. Apparently it was very weird that they were together, so everyone stopped hanging around them. After one of them fell asleep the girl got a call from her best friend how she felt bad they no longer hung out, so we escaped the jail to find her friend. We left the guy in jail, alone.
We eventually reached her friend and they hugged until I woke up.

    9. The Flood

by , 07-12-2011 at 05:06 AM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
Just a usual day. I wake up and get ready for school. While I'm eating breakfast there is talk of a flood in that is headed straight towards us. I ask my mother what we should do about school, but she says me and my sister will be fine.
We are about to leave, so I run upstairs to get something and notice our upstairs has changed into a office. People begin running and screaming as water smashes through the windows and wipes people away. I quickly hide around a desk, and then pass out.
I wake up where I passed out and run downstairs to see where my family is. They are sitting watching television, so they obviously didn't drown. The clock reads 1:10 P.M., so we obviously missed school. My mom says she called us in sick so we could stay away from the flood. I quickly wake up afterwards.
