    1. Another toilet dream

      by , 05-25-2011 at 02:22 AM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
This time, I was in the bathroom of my own home, but I was quite confused. My toilet is in a very small room, with space for the toilet, and then space infront of it for the door to open. I noticed the toilet was indeed, very dirty again. The water level was also very low, and the cleaning block which turns the water blue had run out. Instead, I decided to use a second toilet which happened to appear in my bathroom in the space where the door opened. I realised while sitting on this toilet, that the back of the toilet was touching my right shoulder, and that wasn't normal at all. The paper dispenser had also been taken off the wall, and a new, cheaper one put on the other side of the room. This had me thoroughly confused, until of course! My dad had been taking the toilet out of his bathroom and put it into my bathroom for a while, how could I forget!

I'm starting to think perhaps dirty toilets are a dream sign, this is the 3rd toilet dream this week.. perhaps I just really need to replace the cleaning block! I'm going to start doing RC's whenever I walk into my toilet

    2. Super Mario!

      by , 05-25-2011 at 01:38 AM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
This isn't the first time i've had a dream about mario, I have another that I wrote in my dream journal a couple of weeks ago.

The setting for this level of mario was in space, dark, starry and beautiful, but the level illuminated well. I remember finding coins ontop of a large wall, where my friend Toby was. I then modified the level to build the wall even higher, making it out of something reminiscent of Minecraft obsidian. I then remember finding a group of the aliens from Toy Story, who followed me around. The level then swapped to a side on view, where I had to use the aliens and make them all illuminate, and each had a timer. As soon as they all lit up in a square, they spouted coins.

    3. The School Dreams

      by , 05-25-2011 at 01:23 AM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
Last night a lot of my dreams focused around my school, most of them based at night. These are the various dreams I remember, though I'm not sure where they separate and where the others begin.
My class was working on some sort of a math problem, involving a map, or a street directory. We worked for a while on this question, and eventually figured out from a picture, and the map where my maths teacher lived. My vision then skipped to a first person view, standing infront of a mid-size boat, in a drive way on a cloudy day. It was under some sort of tin roof that covered the drive way, and I think the ground was pebble-crete.
I then return to the classroom, where my maths teacher said
"Gee, I really need to get my son to change his profile picture"

My next dream occurs in another room in the same block. The SRC was having some sort of a large party in the class room, organised by my favorite science teacher. It was night again, very dark outside, and perhaps raining. This would match the weather of last night, raining the entire night, loved it! I walked into the classroom, even though I'm not part of the SRC, sat down and ate some of their food and talked to the people there. I remember the teacher being okay with me there, but I think I decided to leave anyway.

Next memory picks up in another class room, again in the same block, at night, dark and raining. We're in science, watching a video on a TV in the corner of the classroom. The lights are off, and the light comes from the TV. The video is about sex education, but was terribly incorrect. I remember at the end of the video it described the g-spot as some form of living organism, like a flea or a flat beetle, and showed a picture in x-ray colours of the beetle. I remember thinking about "Haha, I remember that little guy!"

As the video ended, I woke up, but transitioned very slowly. If I had remembered when I realised I was awake, and not dreaming anymore, I would have layed still and tried to DEILD. Instead I realised I had moved, and began writing in my DJ about these dreams.

    4. Blue Tunnels

      by , 05-24-2011 at 11:53 AM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
I was in some kind of warehouse, which was filled with intricate children's play equipment. It was all constructed of soft, blue tunnels. The tunnels felt like some sort of puzzle. I passed a couple of girls from my school who are in younger grades, they were coming out as I was going in. I remember being in the tunnels for quite a while, navigating around and finding my way.

There were tight spots, where I didn't fit the tunnel, but I didn't panic and either continued or found a different path. I believe I found my way out, and was crouching on top of a platform ontop of a tall pole, looking down at a few boys from my school, who dared me to go back in and jump. I went back in, and jumped into a deep pool of water at the bottom of a long vertical tube. In trying to find my way back out, I found a room which didn't use regular gravity. It was covered in simple looking alien organisms, which were sucking me towards them. As I got closer, I touched a red light on one, turning them all off, and proceeded to use them as something to bounce on to navigate my way to the top of the area without gravity. Climbing around the corner at the top was hard, and I had to lift myself sideways, which somehow put me on another area which was horizontal, and returned gravity to normal without a noticeable shift.
    5. A good starting post;

      by , 05-24-2011 at 11:31 AM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
I figured I would begin my online dream journal with the most interesting post in my dream journal so far - my first lucid dream in years.

The beginning of this dream could have happened two ways, as I have memories of both.

      1. I was in the lounge room, talking to my father, and got up to walk towards the front door. The furniture was arranged differently, the room lit by the lights, and the curtains closed. I tripped over something like a sharp wire, and felt no pain. This caused me to question reality and do a reality check.
      2. I was at school, in English. It was the middle of the day, warm sunlight being diffused around the room from the blinds covering the windows. We were working through a question sheet, and one of the answers made absolutely no sense, causing me to RC. I doubt this second one.

Infact, thinking about it, the second one is most likely a false memory, as I distinctly remember doing the RC in my loungeroom, and the rest of the dream took place at home.

I did the RC I do as habit throughout the day, trying to push my finger through my opposite hand. It's hard to describe how it feels - like pushing a stick of hard play-doh into my hand. My hands were also extremely blurry, though I didn't concentrate on them much after I RC'd. I immediately got excited and started to lose the dream. I yelled out 'Increase lucidity!', relaxed my breathing, and got a more vivid look of the loungeroom.

I wanted to change my scenery, go to somewhere else within my dream. I tried visualising a field, and willing the world around me to move and change, I then tried a beach, which I had visited in a lucid dream briefly many years ago. Despite this effort, my scenery didn't change. I didn't notice at first - and infact wrote in my dream journal that nothing changed and no passages opened, but I recall noticing that one of my walls had turned into a long hallway - deeply lit with red, and soft velvety walls and luxurious looking doors. I wish I had infact gone and investigated it, and I plan to use it as a method of transportation next time.

Since my scene wouldn't change - I decided to try and fly. I ended up in my room, simply swimming upwards, struggling at first with freestyle, but soon adopted an upright push, somewhat like a jellyfish. Though I found it much easier than my previous attempts in dreams years ago, I lost a lot of lucidity from lack of concentration. It was cloudy outside, and everything had a tinge of green, though most colours were washed out. My foot got caught on a vine outside my window, and I couldn't keep floating. I tried to simply phase through it - like I did with the roof, but it didn't work, and the vine held me back. I lost more lucidity here.

My memory then picks up back in the loungeroom, where I proceeded to have sex with nothing - simply thrusting away at the air with nothing there, though still receiving all feeling. This caused me to wake up very quickly.

I woke up, and felt like looking over at the clock, and I believe I did infact wake up here, but then returned to sleep.

I thought I began writing in my dream journal, and ended up in a dream where I was in my English classroom, discussing a problem we had with the homework where the answer didn't make any sense. I exclaimed to my teacher "That's the question which caused me to be lucid!" He agreed that the answer didn't make any sense, and would have caused me to become lucid.

I woke up again after this, and began writing in reality.
