warning: the only thing interesting about this particular post with Non-lucids is the fact that all 4 dreams that I remembered at 4 distinctly different times of the night were all related to something Chinese. That is not a dream sign for me so far and I don't remember ever dreaming about anything Chinese related before although I'm sure I have at some point. They may have all been inspired buy a photo I saw last night of a white man and an older Chinese man that looks like he might be a famous comedian that were in a professional photo shoot making faces. I was wondering a little bit last night what the photo might mean if anything.

9/27 not trying to LD, work night & tired. Chinese on my mind 4 separate dreams.
1045 215 Chinese burglar. I am in a house that I do not recognize with my brother and we have a couple of TVs on it seems like my mother was visiting and had just left and she mentioned something about my dad coming soon and sure enough he was at our(?) door with some guy that looks kind of like my son's roommate but taller and who I saw later in a dreamlet...I believe it was the same guy. I go to get something for my dad in the garage and I see a Chinese man a little older going through our stuff and I ask him what he took he pulls out nunchucks of all things and I ask him again what did you take what did you take and I believe you pulled out a few things from his pocket and stuck them back in and took off running I yell out thief and started chasing him around the neighborhood and continue yelling thief and my neighbor from across the street in waking life joined in we were going to throw rocks at him grabbing rocks from the ground and he picked up a small rock don't know what happened to the nunchucks and threw it but it didn't go very far or with any speed. The last thing I remember is getting ready to throw a rock at him and I was sure I could throw it like normal but I don't remember the dream faded at that point or I'm forgetting the rest but I remember waking up it seem like my heart rate was a little faster than normal. Wake up again about 545 and the dream I remember was I was meeting a Chinese guy that was in charge of some Chinese performance troop and I was basically picking which performers I wanted to appear at the show that I had won I guess. One of the performers it seemed like the name sounded familiar or I knew they were more famous or popular and I asked for them to appear also and I think he said that they would be busy with some certain dance classes or something and would not be able to make it. After I go back to sleep I have a dream that I'm at a Chinese grill like a small restaurant that will cook up food to order and has a different menu every day where different specialty everyday and for some reason today they were serving something that included guacamole and TL was there, she is also Chinese IWL and she was talking to me I was surprised to see her there and she was telling me oh I'm just waiting for my quacamole among other things. My very last dream before waking up and getting up I was at Chinese buffet and I wasn't expecting it to be Chinese food it felt like it was on a cruise ship or vacation we just walked in and its you all you can eat without any extra cost and I see all kinds of different food items that I've never seen before some of them included those puffy rice chip things but they look different multi colored and there were some other items that didn't necessarily look Chinese but as I went down the line I could see the theme was definitely Chinese food some of the items I recognized, some of the items I don't think I've ever seen anywhere just made up by my dreaming mind. There is a waitress bringing out a big tray of additional food looks like some type of meat filled pastry and there was some conversation that I do not remember I was there with some people that I know but it is all a bit fuzzy right now. There was so much food!

9/25/13 feel very rested this week and getting to bed at a decent hour so I decide to try to LD tonight. Earlier in evening I re-listen to dreamviews podcast 3 with CL & OB(newer series) and earlier in the day decided I need to refocus on recall/dj which I have been lazy about
I type out mantra before bed 40 times: I remember all my dreams. To bed ~10:30 wake ~3:30 I had left the windows open and it was quite chilly in the room with a breeze coming in probably influenced the dream I just had. I was in a big almost permanent tent with open flaps for doors(probably our curtains) and it felt like we were in the desert...it was barren around. Wife, little A and his sister(?)are sleeping on the floor of the tent. I am sneaking out for some reason, feels like I am sneaking out to do something sexual(I seem to be very bad in my dreams). I hear wife's phone ring and slip right back in through the flap. Trying to remember more. Back to bed SSILD And I think I WILD here as it seems like I keep consciousness all the way through. It feels like I am not going to sleep but I start getting different HH's including a finger running down my arm and do my best to ignore the HH's. I start to feel different and decide that I might already be dreaming and should try floating. At first it seems like nothing is happening and then I start floating, first I see a beautiful tree with purple leaves and green leaves, it is so beautiful! I continue floating upward on my back facing up and see a pink blossoming tree maybe cherry blossoms and still other trees of many varieties. I then seem to be in a void and think about a TOTM that I hadn't done calling on the phone. I imagine the phone is already in my hand and it appears, I hold it up to my ear and think, wait I didn't dial a number, I will voice dial "call - home" I get our answering machine and it sounds like it is very similar to what we have...fades, I hear a distant ringing and some softly spoken words-I told myself to remember the words as if it was a great saying or something...next thing I remember I am in a non-lucid dream until becoming lucid at the very end of this next dream: I am at the office out front on steps but it looks different with more of a covered porch but office style not residential. LP comes running...we must both be running late. Start to go but forgot some stuff outside..gather lunch, book..one more item...a zipper bag open with one small round black item and two other things. I grab an office by the front window, there is an identical office on the other side of the entrance also by front window, there is one small monitor and I usually use 2 larger monitors side by side...computer looks old stacked on top of an old cpu, (this should make me lucid with my awareness heightened but I may only suspect shallowly and move on) I am thinking I should find a different station and let the supervisor know I am switching and will be a little late. R starts talking to me in his normal jovial way...I nicely let him know I gotta go and let supervisor know..She is already coming out of her office towards me but I don't recognize her but in the dream know it is the supervisor. I start to tell her what is happening and she says lets take a look and we start to walk towards the front office that I grabbed on the way in..but then I hear a strange noise over my shoulder and become lucid. Unfortunately I wake up faster than ever and find myself in bed but stay still and get vibrations again and transition quickly to a casino scene and know that I am dreaming. I see a woman walking away from me in the distance and I fly off to catch up to her and around a corner but she is gone...I start waking up again and find myself in bed but stay still and get vibrations and decide to let them go on without nudging them on like I have been doing, but this time I feel someone roll over-much heavier than my little wife and stronger holding me from the back as I lay on my side. I stay calm first thinking it is my wife but then some larger sexy woman but instead of that materializing I transition back into the Casino, amazing. I know I am dreaming. I see a woman, not sure if it could be the same woman from earlier. She is wearing a ruffled skirt and I am trying to catch up to her. I start thinking about what is under that skirt and somehow got the idea to project my vision from the floor under her (perhaps from the perspective trick I use for daily awareness work-Lidybug's Clear Light Perspective thread) to see what is under that skirt but she is moving too fast. I fly up quickly behind her and caress her from behind and she likes it. Other DCs around the casino start looking at us strange so I fly up well above the casino floor with her and I am having intercourse with her from behind. I notice how realistic it feels if a little dry. As I focus on this I notice it is a tight fit and as I focus on that it start becoming a little too tight almost squeezing but not bad but I do wake up much more fully this time and feel that I won't be able to go back into a dream any time soon. counted tonight as 2 lucids

away a few days, catching up...

9/21/13 1115 515 SSILD. prior to wbtb dreamed of looking at houses in O hills...several were old and ugly..last one old but interesting with long lot mostly in back. It was steep and wondered what could do with it...sliding down hill on cardboard but need something to stop you safely at bottom. After wbtb wife & I are getting our cars at a big wide parking lot where we parked on different ends. I lose track of her and wonder if she headed back already. She eventually comes by and I say or think where has she been? DILD super realistic courtyard or quad makes me lucid. Fades at some point back to partially awake and vibrations DEILD but seem to lose awareness before gaining it back in a room with a woman ~28-32 sitting in front and to the left of me. She looks back and everything is so vivid I know it is a dream. She is fairly attractive with somewhat squinty eyes..she mostly looked eastern European. I reach over to her and run my hands over her shoulders, arms, back and hair as I am amazed how vivid she is and as a way stabilize. I then kiss her and the scene goes in and out of darkness but I just continue to make out with her touching her breasts and kissing and not worrying about the visual...feeling like I can get it back or teleport. I believe this leads to me in bed with wife or this was a FA. Wife & I are fooling around her top is off. We are in a smaller bed and house is laid out like my childhood home in E...but for some reason her mother & A are coming through the door..lose lucidity in here somewhere. I pull up the covers to cover my wife. Little A is playing around and tugging on mother in laws dress and almost pulls it off. They are looking for a boardgame and take it and leave. I find 2 more pieces and bring it out and that is when I see the layout of the house is like childhood home: hall, our two rooms to the right, brothers, then mine@end. Wife & I were in what was my brother's room. I went to my room to get or give the 2 game pieces.

9/22/13 1130+ 510 wake very drowsy. dream before waking up to go to the bathroom: me and son at some warehouse, son goes to the bathroom, there's an off limits area (marked as such) that goes upstairs to a loft I guess and for some reason I'm trying to clean some oil off the floor. People come by, they said there is a tour on the way and someone asks if they can take pictures in the bathroom. Son says well after I'm done. Later dream, I become lucid seeing a female wearing bra and leaning towards me I can see nipple on right side under the top edge of the bra . I cup her breast and we make out. Wake to static I turned it into waterfall again and started thinking I could visualize that I am under smaller waterfall and could go out and hopefully be at top of angel falls and dive off but it fades. Back in bed DEILD start floating very cool feeling once again this time I stay in my room and looking towards my bed I decide to take a peek to see my sleeping body(like CL did recently) but I am NOT laying there! Means anything? I start to think maybe I'm actually awake looking at my bed and do the nose plug several times every time I can breathe through my nose and I think it is the coolest thing I don't believe I've ever done a nose plug RC during a dream without it fading. I fly off to go see Girl Friday and she is in bed and i take off all my clothes and get in but it starts to fade and this time I am very awake in bed . I try to re enter the dream and then to re enter any dream but all I'm getting at this point are dreamlets. Some very interesting ones kind of like when I take a nap.

9/20/13 quick notes... recall absent all night. LD was only save here. I think a few FAs. No plan to try tonight..work night..but house alarm by C IRL. 6am SSILD. DILD knew but decided to do RC..went fuzzy then floating in void. Floating was very neat, slowly rotating like astronaut. Don't RC if already know? (If not about to jump out window or something.) But transition was fine. FA caught, Wife was L (T's) through roleplaying and very hot..agreed to quickie. Pulled off shorts and then see wifes white shorts she wears to bed and then I remove them, we both get undressed and she is sexy and I am very very excited. Yes..a longer LD before but thought I would remember easily... remember thinking this is continuing & wondering if I am speaking in my sleep. My room was different...smaller bed by window but bathroom was in same place. Only count one LD...too unclear if DEILD chains...

9/14/13 Bed 12 WBTB SSILD 4:50 I think this first dream was inspired by me talking about my Dad's last visit last night. Sports club and woman taking pictures also inspired by stuff from last night IWL.
Parents visit, Mom is coming too and I wonder or question if my brother is coming but she is bringing 2 guys not G & my brother? She's bring Isaac or similar sounding name & an american name...names of people I do not know and I wonder why she is bringing them. My dad has a rental car Dad-my Mom thinks they should return it, my dad says they already have it so should keep it. I start to say if he wants to keep it let him keep it...but I stopped myself thinking maybe he will feel like I don't want him to use my car. My Dad came on a Monday in this dream but not expecting him until Thursday. C is nice even though he's early and though she said to get him a hotel. Sports club with TVs I'm checking a game/scores in lobby area. Same club? mirror weird LD I am jumping up and down in front of a mirror going towards it and away from it making faces but there is a lag...I smile big but doesn't show in mirror for about 1-2 seconds later-aha LD. I continue jumping around for a while having childlike fun and just take all the oddness in. Same club? nap room picture & sex: I go into a quiet room with a couch and lay down on it there's also a blanket, a black woman comes in and said she's taking pictures for the club and I say well don't get my face in the picture it's kind of embarrassing me laying here all alone so she stands above me taking pictures and I start to wonder if the blanket is transparent and they will be able to see my face in the pictures but then I started thinking she's kind of attractive so I notice: her hand is touching my hand as she's taking pictures so I move my hand back and forth a little slightly just enough to let her know it's intentional. She starts kissing me and we both know where this is going. I reach up and touch her breasts not real big but just right and I take off her bra and I begin to think about the fact that she is a black woman and I reach down to feel her butt wondering if it is very large, but no maybe slightly larger than average but not really very large and she is thin through the legs not real thick. We each remove our pants and underwear and she is still on top of me so I decide to stick it in from that position and that is when I realize wait a minute do you have a condom, what if one of us has AIDS or something. She says oh just some fun diseases or something like that. I remember feeling the warm moisture inside of her and decide what the heck I've already put it in. On a bus to a hotel and the driver maneuvers impressively between two columns into the parking area -tv in room I think that there has to be at least a couple of movie channels to entertain me. This hotel might have been on the way to the Sports Club or maybe the Sports Club was inside this hotel. Recall still could be better lately. I think this is one of my earlier dreams in the night I am outside and realize I am dreaming I do a huge jump and flip off roof of a house. I am in some backyard. It was dawn. I decide to take off all my clothes. I
start to(censored) and I think no I might be waking up too much. I end the night with (another?) DEILD attempt some light vibrations but perhaps too late/after REM and I wake up thinking about the different dreams I had I'm trying to remember them. I think there might have been some DEILD chaining in there but since I do not remember the transitions I am just counting it as 1 LD. I think I went to bed too late to have great recall and sustained awareness so I might have just been fading in and out of lucidity...not sure. Either way has to be some of the lowest level of lucidity I've had in quite a while and wake up remembering it.

9/12 I feel motivated to try to do a proper WBTB on a weekday and besides I got to bed by 1030 and incubategirlfriday. Wake 12-something decide too early to pee- back to sleep. 415am dream DV forum related...thinking about my DJ and my task entry cape vs other term that would have been clearer & transport vs teleport. WBTB incubategirlfriday again, different scenario then SSILD FA DILD white wall blocking my hall@home where it should not be. Boom I realize it is a dream but I don't remember how much I did but I'm pretty sure I didn't go out of the house my recall could be much better lately. I find myself back in bed and I attempt a DEILD and feel some vibrations but either wake up or enter a dream without awareness or forgot. I find myself back in bed again and this time I'm able to successfully DEILD and this time with the vibrations I decide 2 start thinking of where I want to end up and I thought the beach would be nice and that's where I was. Nude beach apparently I was there
with several women and we were all nude. The beach did not look familiar it had short run up to the water and the water was fairly calm but it was obviously the ocean. It felt like somewhere far away. It was daytime and it was beautiful and the nod beautiful blue. Eventually I find myself back in bed and successfully chained together another DEILD. I think I lose awareness for a little bit and I am inside a house that I do not recognize. It feels like the house is out in the country. I hear the doorbell ring and I go outside. Outside is a big tree. I don't see anyone but I walk up to see if someone is behind the big tree and there is a boy looking at me curiously and this for some reason brings back up my lucidity. I wonder if he represents a younger me. I decide to show him what I can do and I fly up into the sky and then back down and land on the ground and I say check this out... I fly up and around the planet a few times and I wonder can he even see me and I fly
back down and land right where I left off somehow. I shoot up again and fly around the planet multiple times I'm not sure if I land again before waking up finally for the day. No Girl Friday though.

After WBTB and SSILD I drift back to sleep at some point but regain awareness with the vibrations that I notice on occasion. I nudge on the vibrations and start to be able to see through my closed eyes and there is a dark figure with a cape draping down near the floor and I decide to ignore him/it. I end up in a dark void and decide to recite my ABCs. I kind of rush through it and complete it (I wonder if these false awakening-like LDs bring more waking memory with them?). Feeling happy that I completed a basic task I decided instead of trying to form a locker room from scratch like last time that I would pick a place I had been in recently...the nice gym in a fancy condo complex (you enter from either a mens locker room or a womens to the gym in the middle) and I transport to the gym and make my way "out" through the women's side this time. I come through the door and see no one but can here the showers running, I go around the corner and there are 2 women in the showers with their backs to me, focusing on one, it is beautiful and she has a kind of girl-next-door body, shapely but not a traditional swimsuit model body, I watch the water trickling down her skin. I am not sure if either one knew I was there and the dream started to fade and I find myself laying in bed and try to DEILD but I am too awake.

Had a lucid 9/3 featuring failed advanced TOTM...couldn't quite create the scene I needed but had an exhilarating dream last night.

9/6 later dream I arrive at some house where there is a guy from Australia I think he's here to play golf but is also coaching soccer. He had some kind of poster board with him that told me what he was doing here the golf and the coaching soccer. I asked him so you brought your son with you on the trip? It seemed like he had a little blonde son that was pictured on the poster board. This dream in which he seemed to be on a kind of exchange... transitioned into a dream where I am an exchange student I'm in that same living room, same house with two other exchange students. One of them goes out of the house to go somewhere and the attractive one is still sitting across from me on another couch and we start looking at each other, attracted to each other. She has a shirt on
top of a silky undershirt/lingerie and she begins to remove the outer shirt -I say don't do that to me indicating that she is turning me on and part of the undershirt comes up and exposes one of her breasts. We are both excitedly looking at each other at this point and she comes over to my couch and we start making out and I start caressing her breasts and we are kissing feverishly. I ask her if she has a condom and she says maybe you have one in your little fridge(why in the fridge?). Then we hear the other exchange student coming up to the front door and try to play it off like we were just talking on the couch even though my shirt is completely off and she is in her under shirt. The one I was making out with says something like Oh hahaha like we were just talking about something funny. Wake up feeling like I do after a good lucid! Looked kind of like Miki, but hotter.

Earlier more boring dreams: I'm on a wide open beach and there is a lot of sand and distance from the beginning of the beach down to the water perhaps tide is out with just one of those huge Southern California beaches. I am there with M from S for some reason and she kisses me a little peck on the lips and I look around and say or think that it is risky others may have seen that...didn't feel exciting, only akward...no feelings for her. Don't remember much else but it seems like the dream started at the mall somewhere like nearby what seems like I've been in a number of dreams. Different dream it seems like wife is with me and we are waiting for a bus where the bus turns around to go back along a particular route and we were trying to figure out where it will be stopping we guessed wrong but ran over to where the bus stopped and got on it seem like she got on ahead of me and I lost track of her so just grab the one seat I could find and kind of squeezed in between two bodies it was tight. I realized I forgot my wallet and I wondered
what I was going to do all day at work without my wallet how would i buy lunch etc and I don't have my bus pass but that seems okay because they never seem to check for my pass.(I don't even ride the bus to work, odd).

interesting regular dream I was learning advanced mind techniques. One was to overcome pain through the mind. Felt like lessons or practice taught by some guy in a sitting yoga position? unusual dream for me. Bed 1140 wake 412 no plans for LD but not quick back to sleep so SSILD after while. Lose awareness and then gain awareness as the vibrations start coming over me and I nudge them on/amplify and I enter the dream and fly off to go visit Girl Friday. This time we have full blown sex. Previously I don't remember it going beyond 2nd base especially in an LD. Reminder to self: Don't believe what you hear about LDs unless it's a positive thing. After messing around and as I get ready for intercourse I worry slightly that it might wake me up..but no, not right away at least! It felt like it was not hard enough but realized differently upon waking. Try to re-enter the dream or any LD but after 10 seconds I decide it's not going to happen and I start doing the SSILD cycles when I realize that I can see through my eyelids I'm back in an LD. I'm sitting in a kitchen that looks like one I have been in before but I'm not sure I recognize it from waking life. Starts to fade and then I come into a new scene sitting on what feels like one of my childhood beds-twin size in a childhood bedroom looking out the window but not sure if it is a false memory of a bedroom. It felt so neat and felt like traveling back in time and thought that it was a cool use of lucid dreaming-time travel. Find myself in some grayish room with horizontal boards with gaps between the boards for walls did not seem like anywhere I wanted to be so I flew out the wall or a window(did not focus on any barriers to exit). Find myself in front of a large mirror wall like you might find in a workout studio , martial arts studio, or dance studio. I decide to try something I was reading about yesterday: practicing sports techniques and moves. I looked a little thinner than I currently am and moved with such ease right down left down right up left up .. Almost floating in the air with some of the moves it was so much fun. I do a flying karate kick quite well. I have been doing a lot of reality checks in waking life so I thought let me see what my hand looks like. At first I only had four fingers but I could see the fifth finger was curled underneath my hand and it felt like it was hard to pop it up but eventually I did and my hand looks fairly normal. I then look at my face in the mirror and I recall a previous task of the month and my face looks thinner maybe a little bit younger and there are five small black dots above my lip on the right side. They look like tiny bugs but I don't remember seeing them move. Starts to fade out and then fade back in to staring straight into an eye or the inside corner of an eye and the face around the eye is silver .. It occurs to me that I should not be scared and I decided to just close my dream eyes and move on but instead I wake up. Besides waking up after the 1st LD, I assume that the other transitions to different scenes were from within the dream so not counting those separately but I am NOT really sure if I was chaining them together in little mini awakenings. It seems like I would remember if I was doing it through actual chaining.

8/25 at a restaurant like Bill Johnson and Bill introduces himself first to the table with my uncle D at it. Me my son and my dad are at another table a round booth my son is sitting to the left on the other side of the opening and my dad over to my right at the back of the booth. At my uncles table it seems like they do a cheer with drinks and then my uncle points over to us and the owner comes to our table he does a prayer.. prays as he thrusts around praying in an odd manner like filled with the Holy Spirit. But then it feels a little like he is mocking. His privates keep hitting me in my elbow as he thrusts around and towards the end I can feel that it is getting engorged, weird! Everyone's eyes are closed except mine as I look to make sure he's not bumping into my son and wondering if my dad notices how he is praying. But no, everyones eyes are closed and I'm the only one who sees everything that's happening. When he says amen my dad says "good old fashioned prayer! " someone asks me "you didn't like this place back in either home or some vacation spot?" I responded I must have gotten a bad dish last time. My uncle D sent me his Pepsi and asked if I liked it. I said yes thanks but I realized it tasted water down like the ice had melted too much. Another weird dream I'm peeing out onto a wide array of rocks and covering them all and someone joins me like one of those long urinal troughs in mens bathrooms and after a moment starts to turn towards me still peeing so I turned towards him to get him back it was kind of childish weird but didn't feel weird during the dream kind of like 2 kids spraying water at each other. But weird! And then a bizarre dream that may have been at a bazaar , many weird dreams tonight. For some reason I was selling hole set or case of handcrafted costume jewelry? Made with mostly red stones to a store that buys. After awhile it felt like they were ripping me off. The number they wrote on my glass case looks like a lot of money but then I realized but I need to convert it to know how much it really is. Two of the items did not have a price underneath it and I was talking to the lady behind the counter and saying if he's not offering on those two I can keep them, correct? I wait and wait to see how much money I am getting and other customers come and go before me when I ask what about me? Then they produce an envelope I open it up it has some local currency some US currency some Spanish currency and some other currency but it all looks like small donations and doesn't add up to much. He says check the balance on the cash card tomorrow and you will be surprised. It seems I am outside the store now and I hear a commotion up above somewhere I look and there is a teenager maybe 18 for my son's age falling or jumping off of a cliff it has a temple or some kind of building at the top and I wonder if they were pushed or jumped because of the commotion right before. But then another young person comes and jumps on their own and then another and then they are lining up and jumping at the same time at least 20 or more before I wake up. Before I wake up I was looking to see if any of them look like my son. And asking why are they doing this what is going on? Crowd is screaming I can't watch as they hit the ground maybe about 200 yards away.

8/24/13 first some fragments: multiple dream characters eastern European with ties to (radio station) concerts. one burly, big moustache, balding? reminds me now of the dreamlet of a character with round black hat (amish-like) and big black framed round Rx glasses. also woman going out with someone "believe me she's not so hot (as she seems)" says a DC.

(WBTB with SSILD) Dream that turns lucid: I am standing as one fairly attractive thick blond woman in light jean shorts is in front of me (perhaps I am a cameraman and they are being interviewed?) when I see the next one in line...she looks familiar, her name is Brooklyn, thin, unassumingly attractive, long brown hair with her hands clasped behind her back, I find myself drawn to her and she looks at me in a love at first sight kind of mutual stare. I think it is the thought that I had during the dream that I remember her from a previous dream that made me lucid..."this is a dream" I immediately start floating then flying and swoop around in a loop back down to Brooklyn, we kiss and now my whole vision is filled with old style(analog) tv static and I hear the crackling of the static and feel the disappointment that Brooklyn is gone and all I have is this static but the static sounds a little like a waterfall and reading last night about attempts and a success with one of the DV tasks of the year must have inspired me and I decided to transport to a waterfall and I end up right underneath a waterfall. I stand there enjoying the falling water...perhaps too long to turn it into Angel Falls...but waking up smiling, none-the-less at the satisfaction of a lucid...try DEILD but too awake.

Brooklyn feels like my dreamworld true love and now Girl Friday seems like little more than an infatuation.

Thought I would note this because it was unusual for me. I was planning on just doing a regular late afternoon cat nap but noticed the dreamlets starting to pop up and decided to try to wild but every time a new dreamlet would pop up I would seem to wake myself too much by paying attention to them. The interesting thing was that I had something like 12 to 14 different dreamlets or mini dreams in maybe a 20 minute span. Each one was very distinct and not the sort of things that would pop into my mind daydreaming... very dream like in their unusual subject matter. They weren't just images but scenarios with action and some with dialogue.

I had several thought provoking dreams last night but one that I wanted to note here before I lose any more of it. I don't recall having dreams like this before but may have forgotten...kind of supernatural in nature. So I entitled it someone else's dream. I was walking with this other entity in a rocky, hilly, tree covered area. As we step into the boundaries of what I take as a sacred area many different entities of different sizes and shapes appear in front of me and behind me and one of them asks the one I was walking with "why did you bring her here." Referring to me as her. I'm not sure why. I remember being fascinated that they had different features some had tails, some had wings. None of them seemed scary though and the dream started fading here but it felt like they let me stay in this sacred area.

Fill in the blanks later hopefully..gonna go back to sleep but tornadoes in downtown San Francisco and deceased loved one pays a visit!!!=LD

8/4/13* we have a meeting at work and there is a quiz on a new thing we are doing. I leave the quiz on the desk and later they say you can check your file box to see how you did and I don't think I did well because I didn't fill it out properly but it is not in my file folder so I feel like no one knew that I didn't do well. Strange. I see a guy who retired quite a few years ago, Mike. I question what are you doing here? He said that if he puts in more years or hours and goes over 1000 something he gets a special special party with the executives and an increase in the retirement income factor. I'm exiting a movie theater with my son I think and it seems like maybe a theater we had been in earlier in the night in a previous dream but this time we go out a different exit and I think well it can't be that different. There is blue carpet on the stairs going down to the exit and when we come out on to the street after walking a little I realize we came out about 2 blocks away from where we did going out the other exit the previous time . I see a dream character acquaintance that I seem to remember from a previous stream and I offer to give him a ride since we are heading the same way. My vehicle is a sports motorcycle it looks very fast and nothing like anything I've ever owned. Next thing I remember I am driving a car with my son and we are in downtown San Francisco for some reason. There are winds swirling in front of us all around picking up things into the air and I think tornadoes in downtown San Francisco, this is really weird this might be a dream. I ask my son should I stay stopped or should I keep driving. I also ask do you think it's safer to get out of the car and then I find that we are both out of the car under some trees and now it is raining very hard. I lose track of my son and I see it is it's getting harder to see, perhaps because of the rain pouring down my face. In real life I have ear plugs in my ear and I sense that in the dream and realize that I may not be able to hear my son calling for me so I need to take the ear plugs out as I take them out (in the dream only, I later awake to find ear plugs still in) I somehow find 3 ear plugs in my hand and then later 4 and I question why would there be four but still not lucid. I find myself back home what feels like home in the dream but in waking life does not look at all familiar. I am in a basement like room and I hear the keys being put into the lock for the front door and I think oh maybe it is my son found his way back. Or maybe it is my wife and why is she coming home so late. But instead who walks around the corner but my deceased father in law who is very near and dear to all of us and I instantly became lucid. I said to him oh my god it's you. He says well hello there "noc" (I am still checking on the significance of this word but it is similar to a nickname he called his wife and my son says it may be a term he used for young kids). He is younger maybe 50, relatively thin, wearing a striped shirt, short sleeve and glasses with pretty big brown frames. I start to tell him how much everybody misses him and how important he was to my son and I find myself waking up. Very special, and these special lucids seem to end too quickly. Later I think that I'm awake with my ear plugs in when I hear what sounds like radio static and signals in my ears and I feel like I'm just trying to get to sleep. I questioned why there would be radio static in my ears but only very shallowly. Probably hypnagogic sounds. Later I am looking face to face at myself when I was maybe 20 years old or so and I'm hanging off of a open air vehicle. Some earlier dream we are waiting in line for a slingshot ride that happens to be at a favorite restaurant.

yesterday's dreams ..8/3/13 Diane? Prefers a world or school like a Disney movie maybe like Snow White. One by one characters are formed front of me . There were four groups of characters that I remember and 3 characters in each grouping. The first three groups featured a girl and each one was slightly different mainly in the way that the nose was drawn. The last group that I remember featured a boy. In a previous stream there was acid on the floor in the basement like sitting and the dream characters we're like Boston mobsters I had to crawl through the acid as did one of the mobsters and his toddler, mobster started bleeding and left a spot of blood on the floor. I go upstairs and change clothes in front of everyone without thinking twice. Then a pretty mundane dream an open house in our neighborhood and a couple is standing there how to the house staring towards the garage and I say are you wondering if it is really a two car garage? It definitely is although it's easier if you don't have a lot of things stacked on the sides of the garage and if you park one car backwards so that you can park the cars closer together and still be able to open the door on each side of the garage. To be honest with you we live in the neighborhood and sometimes parking on the street can be a challenge. If you have a party you may have to let your guests know that they may have to walk a block or two to your house from where they find parking. E's sister in law M is buying a courtyard home. C asks why a courtyard why not go bigger. I say but at least they can make a profit vs the place they're living now.
