Getting 3 hours of sleep really isn't conducive to good dream recall. :?

I just had an awesome night of dreaming. Not only one, but two awesome dreams on the same night (7 and 10)!
31.12.2010
      12/31/10 - 10 (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      1) I'm in a car with AP and UM. They're driving me back from someplace. I get a very negative impression of AP but rather positive one of UM, who's cool. They drop me off outside of a fence to what looks like a dump, but this is where I need to go. I thank them and leave the car.

      2) I'm standing on a bus and BH is behind me. I begin lightly singing a Linkin Park song, and BH starts laughing. Only he would get the joke because the two of us are coming back from something where that song was prominently featured. I don't care what the other people on the bus think of me - BH gets it and he thinks it's funny, so I'm not really embarrassed about singing the song on the bus, even though at first I thought I was singing softly enough that no one could hear me.

      3) I'm in Seattle, walking around a sparsely populated mall (There are only a few people walking around, and it's not crowded; there are just enough people to give it a friendly atmosphere. I feel comfortable in this place.) that I know is the football stadium. It floods, having the roof nearby (it was glass) completely shatter and water comes pouring in, flooding the mall (which I call a stadium). I passively watch this, but I don't really even notice it or give it a second thought - in Seattle, this is a regular event. It's no big deal and I don't even pay any attention to it.

I'm with JU and we're walking around the mall. We go into a mall and see an Hispanic worker pushing around a cart filled with bottled drinks that look like Gatorade. He's ready to stock the shelves when I interrupt him - I would like one of those drinks. They look really good and JU takes one too. I take a Brisk Iced Tea or two as well as a colored drink (a red one?). I ask the man what it tastes like.

We go to the counter to pay for our drinks. The cashier is a middle aged Hispanic man, probably in his 50s or 60s. He tells us how much the drinks cost ($3.75?) and I take out the change in my pocket and try to count my change. However, it's extremely difficult and almost is hurting my brain. It's taking an enormous amount of energy to count my change, which is sized differently than it should be. It looks weird and I can't seem to count properly - addition is extremely difficult. Looking like an idiot, I try to hurry up. I'm kind of embarrassed, not being able to count my change in this store. I pull out a dollar bill to decrease the amount of change that I'll need, but I still need to find 75 cents in the group of coins that I put on the counter. I try again, but each attempt to count fails. I know I have enough money, I'm just having a hard time counting it. The nickels are and the quarters are the same size, and the pennies have a weird color (I think it's the regular bronze, but I'm taken aback by that.). I eventually just give up and tell the cashier to take all my change. JU and I exit the store.

      4) I'm in a van. I'm drinking the Brisk from 3?

      5) I'm with a group of people in a clearing behind school, where the football field should be. TB is there, hitting tennis balls off of the side of the building. I remark that he's really good.

A plane passes overhead, but I miss it. Two more planes pass by really low and it's cool that I get to see them. There must be an airport nearby.

      6) continuation of 5?? I'm in a clearing behind school with a large group of people. We're where the football field should be, but the football field isn't there. The librarian yells out the window, but no one can hear her. Everyone starts asking around what she said, and finally word gets out. The terrifying news hits me: "All elves must leave" (or something like that). I immediately realize that this is the end of the book, and that was the last line on the last page. None of us ever got done reading the book, but we we all got up to the last line. The librarian was doing us a great favor by telling us what happened, and she wasn't spoiling it for us because we were all up to that point anyways.

Still, I was terrified. The poor elves! They have to leave, and I could see all the Munchkins scurrying about. Hagrid bellows that he'll take in all the Munchkins, who are extremely relieved and thrilled to be taken in. They all squeeze together in a tight circular formation and all of them pack into a small area, which could be easily transported into Hagrid's hut and not take up space. Conveniently, Hagrid's hut is now in the center of the clearing.

      7) continuation of 6? I'm in the parking lot of my elementary school, right outside room xx. It's graduation from high school, and so I say goodbye to everyone. I awkwardly wave and utter a quivering "Bye" to my Asian friends, knowing that I may never see them again. I start running home, and this is the graduation race. Everyone in the graduating class is running to find out who the best runners are and to rank everyone according to speed. Being the fattest, I naturally assumed that I'd end up last and finish hours after the leaders. Much to my surprise, I found myself in third place! This was probably due to my great start position, as all of the members of the class couldn't possibly all start at the same spot. Exhilarated to be so close to the top (even happy not to be last), I put in a greater effort. I tried as hard as I could because I actually had a chance of winning, even though I knew that there was no way I could realistically beat these guys.

I was literally giving it 110%. I ran harder and faster than I possibly could, more determined than I ever had been before. Sprinting with all my might, I passed both runners, who were at about the same location. The fastest in our class was clearly SOL. We got to the clearing next to my elementary school and I decided to run through the clearing rather than pick a sidewalk, as the fastest route between any two points is a line. SOL and the other runner both elected to run on the same sidewalk and then curve around. I ran across the leaves, but when I reached the other sidewalk I had to crawl. This was physically demanding, and as it went on it became nearly impossible, for there was no friction and I couldn't grab hold of anything. I desperately searched for ledges, knowing that my time was running out. I eventually crawled by using the little indentations between each sidewalk block since there were no longer any ledges on which to propel myself.

I reached the end of that sidewalk, got up, and began running down the final stretch. I watched with disappoint as SOL and the other runner passed me, just as I was getting up. We ran straight down the street in a winner-takes-all, all-out, gritty competition. The atmosphere was desperate; I had to beat them. I helplessly watched as they pulled away.

Luckily, I had this planned all along. Two armored cars would buzz down the street and surround the two runners ahead of my, blockading them from the finish line and allowing me to run right by and take first place. Imagine, me being the best runner!

As I thought up this plan, it actually happened. The other two runners were across the street from my house and were in the middle of the street my house is on, a mere 3 feet from victory. The armored cars swerved in, blocking them.

However, something went horribly wrong. The cars were supposed to swerve to the left of the other two runners to block them from their goal, which they successfully did. But there was a third car!! It was supposed to swerve to the right of me to keep my path clear, but it swerved to my left and blocked me from the finish too!! That's okay, though; I'll just run around it and dart to the finish line in a mad dash to get threre before the other runner and SOL.

I ran around and cast a glance at the armored cars, which were opened up on that side. An African-Amerian boy, probably 16 or 17, was being handled by two men and thrown harshly onto the pavement. This is my brother! My brother had been raped!! SOL and the other runner came and blocked the men by standing between them and my brother, sacrificing themselves so that my brother and I could escape. I walked with him up the walkway and onto the porch of our house. He looked so violated, so downtrodden: he was fully naked and his vagina was clearly agitated and swollen. I screamed for the door to be opened, jabbing the doorbell repeatedly? and banging on the door and screaming for someone to open up.

Assuming he had gotten in safely, I sullenly walked into the driveway. Now I was a girl with long, curly black hair, on the verge of tears. My brother had been raped! I felt horrible. This is absolutely miserable! I reflect on what just happened and slowly walk down the driveway. Dad comes out of the house and beckons me inside to discuss my day.

We're now in K's room, sitting on the windowsill in the back. I'm holding back tears. I angrily tell my father that I don't want to talk to him right now. He's mad and is demanding that I tell him what's wrong. I don't want to talk about anything right now after being traumatized by what happened to my brother. It seems as if dad doesn't know what happened. He's asking me how my graduation went and tells me to smarten up. I almost told him that I was the top runner and I know that would make him proud, but this wasn't the time for that. I was going through a horrendous tragedy.

      8) I tell my dad I don't want him reading my essays??????

      9) I'm with KD, NT?, and JD. They're bringing cakes out of a kitchen? and JD almost drops hers. I'm just standing there not really doing anything and I notice I'm kind of useless and just in the way, but I realize that there's nothing I can do because all the cakes are already being carried by people. Someone comes over and helps JD because she's holding two cakes and one would fall if she tried to balance both of them.

      10) continuation of 9???? We're on one of the top floors of some high rise. It's a pretty opulent place, with red carpets and Christmas paraphernalia throughout. I'm disappointed that I kind of missed the Christmas season because I was doing my essays. My mother comments on that and says something about me missing the fun activites.

I'm now playing a Pokemon game on what seems to be a mystical sphere. Inside the sphere is a swirling red aura. Pikachu is in the game. My father scolds me for playing a "baby game" and relentlessly yells at me. BS comes along (he got off an elevator???) and sees me playing the Pokemon game. My father points out that I'm playing it?? I'm highly embarrassed to be caught playing it in front of one of my friends, but I enjoy it so I'm going to keep playing, even though he's here.

BG starts playing a song on a keyboard. It's Beethoven, I think. I jokingly say that "you're just typing gibberish," but I know full well that each key makes a the noise of a different piano key. It's a QWERTY keyboard (at least I think it is, I didn't bother to look at the actual letters). I'm trying to play a game (Minecraft)?? so I pretty much brush BG off and don't pay attention to her. She's having trouble with the zoom-in and zoom-out functions, and I zoom in for her. She's mad at me and scoldingly yells that she wants it zoomed out max. I start to zoom out and eventually get it.

I go back to my game: I'm in a cyclical canyon with a floor of water and enormous monolithic rock walls. I'm flying around the canyon, trying to catch the enemy. We just keep going around and around the canyon but I just can't seem to catch the enemy. BG's in the game now, too.

It's a co-op: BG is on my team trying to catch that thing too. We gain speed and see the tail end of it - it's a huge freighter, kind of like the Republic Cruiser

but much more massive and with much more height and length. We have to get to the front of it, but even with our burst of speed, the ship is so long we just cannot get to the front of it.

I have an idea! We turn around and go to the other direction, easily confronting the ship head-on with the wind on our side. Being at the front, I'm the first one to jump on top of the freighter and begin work. Our objective is to cut off the extremities of the freighter; I easily succeed in cutting off the pipe/tube at the front. I see BG (and a third member of our team?) go further back along the freighter and do the same. Mission complete - we've succeeded!

I'm overcome with absolute joy. I sit on the front of the freighter, which is now a dragon?? (It's actually a long, white balloon, but I interpret it as a dragon?) We fly over my hometown/neighborhood and are welcomed back as heroes. We fly over X Street. I wave to my adoring fans, and it's almost like the end of a video game where all the characters tell you congratulations and wave to you, proud of your accomplishments. But this was real!

We were flying low, low enough for me to talk to my adoring fans. I merrily greet the Asian students I bid farewell in 7. I called out, "Ni hao!" One of them echoed the Mandarin greeting while the other replied, "Mu hao!" which I assumed must be Cantonese.

There were banners throughout the town and arches commemorating my great deed. Confetti was flying everywhere. I smiled and laughed, having never been happier. One Asian student inquired, "Are you a Buddha?" I replied with a grin, "I am the Buddha!" I momentarily wondered if I should regret that and whether or not it was offensive, but I determine that it's not offensive at all because he does understand the ideology and I have been Enlightened. It's a rather appropriate statement for me.

Everything is great and perfect. I'm the happiest guy in the world.

I either realize that I'm dreaming and wake up, or realize that I'm dreaming because I wake up. By the time I think about what I should do lucidly or desperately attempt not to wake up, I'm already feeling my physical body and realize I'm just laying in bed with my eyes closed.
1) My dad and I are helping K up the stairs. Dad's the one actually helping him and I'm the one who's picking up the yellow marbles in his path. In the attic, however, there are no yellow marbles; instead, the yellow is mashed into the floor and cannot be picked up.

      2) There's long hollow pole - you don't want be be sent down there for punishment, because at the bottom you'll fall into a mixture "other things," i.e. feces and other disgusting permeable substances.

      3) I'm in a suburban town. (transition to 2???)

      4) I receive a large teddy bear as a gift. It's probably at least 10 feet tall; I'm really happy and I thank my parents. The teddy bear is a Cub, as in the Chicago Cubs.

      5) I'm in some sort of battle; other kids are coming from down the hallway. There are two other kids with me, but we don't really talk. There's a small side alley in the hallway, which has two crevices. I hide in one of the crevices while the other two kids stay in the middle of the hallway. I sense people come and fear grows inside of me. They eventually come, and I change the crevice in which I'm hiding. Eventually, I jump out and am ready to confront the enemies. They're dressed up in knight costumes??

      6) continuation of 5?? I'm horsing around with some kids in a grocery store. We probably shouldn't be doing this, but I'm having fun. As I twirl around dodging their attacks (they're harmless; we're just doing this for fun), I see my boss. I say hi to her, but she mustn't have seen me. She turns around and now sees me beause I said hi to her. I continue to run around playing in the grocery store, and eventually my boss comes up to me and asks if I want to work today. I really don't want to work, as it's Wednesday and I was planning on writing my essays today. I reluctantly tell her, "Sure," because you can't really say no when they ask you to work.

I then see Mr. S, who asks me where something is (I interpret this to be either a recycling bin or a mailbox). He must think I work here, but I remember where the thing is anyways...I think. I tell him you go across the street amd walk directly across the crosswalk, and it should be right there. I'm not completely sure if that's right, and I don't even see any crosswalks. I qualify my response by telling him that I haven't worked there in a long time. My mother agrees, noting that I haven't been to work in what, 2 months? We have a conversation about the last time I worked.

      7) I'm in a car with my dad and I'm giving him directions. I want him to turn at X Street, but apparently I had told him before the dream started to not turn until Y Street. I don't remember him ever telling me this, so he gets mad and yells at me. We end up just driving home and not going to that destination, which I concede is okay.

      8) I hear JF say (I can't remember what he said. It was nothing strange or memorable, though.). I note that "This is the third time he's said this today!"

      9) I'm walking through the second floor of my school and as I pass by a classroom, I hear JF say the same exact thing he said in 8. I note to JB, "This is the fourth time he's said this today!" (This is the only reason I know that 8 happened, as in 9 I clearly remembered him saying that at least three times in other dreams and I found it odd that he would say the same thing again.) I walk down to the cafeteria and tell RL to get out of my seat. It's the end of the day and it's last period. I tell him that it's my seat; I sat there for breakfast this morning and it was my seat! It's okay, though - I'll just sit a couple of seats down.

      10) I'm in a group that's walking atop a hill in a forest-like environment (is it a Minecraft map???? probably not, but it's possible). The whole group of us is descending into a cave that will lead out to where we're going on the other side. I'm walking down the stairs in the cave behind some girl when my dad? nudges me and indictes that I should go more quickly. I'm always uncomfortable walking down stairs with girls, so maybe I am holding everyone else up. I dart by her and go down the stairs very quickly, not thinking about the girl and just running down, past several people.

      11) I'm at a Model U. N. conference. Model U. N.!!? I'm completely unprepared!! I didn't even know we were having a meeting today. I don't even have a country or an issue. I have no idea what's going on. The Model U. N. coach is going to be mad and disappointed in my lack of preparation. I never scheduled a practice with him or anything. Am I even suppossed to be here? I look for him in the crowd and see him, but he's near the front so I can't talk to him right now. I'll just wait until he comes over here.

We're in my school's gym, and all the chairs are set up to accomodate everybody. The lighting is kind of dim, but I can still see fine. TB is at the front, performing. I'm taken aback by this, as TB shouldn't be there! He's not a part of my life anymore and there's no reason for him to be here. Oh well, I guess his school is just here competing too. There are giant inflatable matresses/rectangular prisms and cylinders on the stage, and everyone's commenting, "Oh, we're going to have that type of Model U. N." There must be all different types of this, with us randomly getting the one with the giant inflatable shapes mashing each other on the stage. NBA and JF are with me.

      12) coninuation of 11? I wake up. YES!! Boy, am I relieved that that Model U. N. thing wasn't real. I was so unprepared for it; it would've been both embarrassing and a disappointment to the Model U. N. coach. It's only the morning of the conference, now. I'm so grateful for this opportunity; now I have an hour or two to prepare. I call NBA and look up some stuff on my iPod Touch.
