7/26/10 I supposedly had a really epic lucid last night, according to a fragment I have of telling someone else about it. Unfortunately it is completely lost. 1- Curse of the Kraken The apocalypse is approaching. Or so it seems as I stare in horror at the huge wall of water about to wash over me. The wave crashes down upon me, but I manage to grab ahold of a whale serenely floating by. I am relieved that I didn't die. The water retreats back to the horizon, where I see it sit, waiting for a more opportune time to strike. It wants ME, specifically. Buy why? ((Note that I live half a day away from the ocean.)) Throughout the dream it takes many more shots at me. I can't sleep, for fear that I will be dragged off to sea! Somewhere along the line I end up traveling with some people who are sworn to protect me. We are camping out in the forest, thinking it to be a safe place. The girl and boy I am with (who seem to be anime characters from two separate shows) are arguing about whose tent I am going to sleep in. My bodyguard tells them to shut up or take a hike. I drift off to sleep. My thoughts begin to narrate what happens after that. "I thought I would be safe in the forest, but the water came for me while I was asleep. It picked me up and dragged me away. When I woke up, I was alone and lost. I had to spend a week in the hospital, but I'm okay now." Back to the live action. The ocean had grown tired of trying to drown me, so it sends a Kraken after me. While I am on the run from it, we learn the hard way that all who touch the water from now on will become a Kraken as well. People are turning all around me, and I'm chopping them up with a cleaver. The curse gets smarter. Now the mini Krakens are able to turn back into humans, but they still contain their evil souls. My best friend is trying to kill me with an axe! Then something amazing happens. As I am talking to my friend, trying to plead with her to fight this madness... it actually works. Reason returns to her eyes and she drops her weapon. I realize that this must be why the ocean is out to get me. My voice has the power to break the curse of the Kraken!
7/24/10 1- Antics I end up throwing a childish hissy fit and run off down the road. I go farther than intended; all the way down to Deerman High. (Name changed.) As I jump the fence, I have a complete character change. I am now a guy. From a 3rd person POV I see that I have spiky reddish orange hair. Really good-looking. I intend to leave this place before I get caught, but a marvellous sight stops me dead in my tracks: A cheerleader. A tall, blond, big chested cheerleader. I decide to hang around here for a bit, after all. ((What I find most amusing about this dream is that I literally had the mindset of a guy. I apparently didn't remember being a girl AT ALL.)) I pay someone to give me their extra uniform, which allows me to blend in.
Okay, I have several nights worth of dreams to type up. I was wrapped up in a lot of other things so I didn't have time to post them here, but I did either write them down or commit them to memory. I'll do this with one entry per night. 7/23/10 1- Living Dead Girl Although I am on a cruise ship, it doesn't seem like much of a vacation. Everything is dark and gloomy, from the weather, to the passengers, to the ship itself. I have befriended a group of younger girls, one of whom is suffering from a terrible disfigurement of the face. She is dying; whether from her condition or her own self-pity is hard to tell. Regardless, it's clear that she's looking forward to it. After her death, the other girls and I hold some sort of ritual to honor her. This, as things often do in my dreams, goes horribly wrong. We accidentally bring the girl back to life. If it can even be called life. She is trapped between the two planes, able to be physical or etheric as she chooses. And she's furious with us for this. One by one she picks us off. I do my best to try to rescue the youngest of our group from her fury, but I inevitably fail. Our original group of six has dwindled to two. (Three if you count the ghost girl.) We learn that water will vanquish her, but only if it's tap water. She is one step ahead. The rain outside acts as a shield: we can't attack her. We're pretty much doomed.
