    Journey to Tai

The beginnings of this dream are quite simple. I was at the T house and many of my friends were there. Kira from grade 8 and Justin May but showed up, what a strange group it was. After hanging for a while the season changed to winter, so we all started skiing. I am at the front of the group ripping it down Holimont. This is one of the most vivid dreams I've ever had. Justin May is bragging about how good a a skiier he is and how these are not the alps. I can feel that my skiis need a waxing, and the hills are properly contoured causing me to have an uneven ride. I see some kids doing pizza skis down the hill and wipe out while watching them. My friends all rip on me for falling and continue on. I fall again later and lose them, so I just have fun on my own on the hill. This is the first time in my life I've skied without the boots hurting my feet, and I didn't even become lucid enough to enjoy it. At the bottom of the hill I was with Aidan and some guy I don't know and we tried to fit on a chairlift that was way too small for two to sit even though it had three seats. I sat in the chair behind and we headed up.

Suddenly I'm driving the Steam Machine. I arrive at a small cafe and get out to read a book. The book is the Millionaire Fastlane, but it is printed in a Malcolm Gladwell book cover. I am reading it in peace on this little patio in the rain, when suddenly Tai Lopez is there. This is now the strongest detail I can recall since the dream I had about the skatepark. People are coming up to Tai every 2 minutes and asking him about advice, telling him how much they love him. I just sit there and read my book, knowing there's no point in talking to him as he'll just give a default answer or a 'thank you'. Some rich kid comes up and puts his arms all over my chair to look casual and starts talking to Tai about being rich and having nice clothes. Tai is courteous but doesn't give a shit, and then everyone leaves. I'm enjoying the rain, the pitter patter, and the book which I cannot read but can derive meaning from.

    "That's a great book."

I look up and Tai is still chilling. I smile and say it surely is. I say how much I love the title, it's so smart to call it something like that and he laughs. We have some more little smalltalk before he asks me if I have any questions for him. I say not really, he speaks quite a lot and now is the time to relax. After that though I do ask him how he manages sleep. I say that he must only get 5 hours, and he says that you simply manage, once you're in it you're in it and you won't die. Try to grab naps if you can and if you can't just work anyway. Now he can get as much sleep as he wants every day, because of that small sacrifice in the beginning.

We chatted about some more things, and then at the end of the day we both got on a bus into the city. I realized after a few blocks that I left the Steam Machine at the cafe, and had to get off. I walked off into the rain alone, reflecting on my time with Tai. Somewhere lost in the grey fog of the afternoon showers I refound my consciousness.
