Dream No. 288 - Cooper Gang TV Series

I don't remember what happened at the start of the dream. From where I do remember, I was in some sort of unknown house but it did feel like the interior of a property in the United States. It was some house like they were they were shooting for a live TV show. In fact, it was a TV show and a different door would be used for each different episode of this Sly Cooper reality show. First of all, Sly and Bentley were showing me around the house, this house acted as the hub area for this dream. They were really friendly in this dream and were talking to me a lot, especially Bentley.

They then took me through one of the doors and we found ourselves in some outdoor area with lush grass, lots of trees, and golden sunlight. There was some mysterious narration going on in the background. It mentioned something about how this was the scene with Murray; I forgot the rest of the commentary but I was already starting to get the feeling that it wasn't going to be good. Then I see this golf cart like vehicle rolling into the scene, being driven by some stranger and Murray was in the passenger seat.

Although the door was supposedly, still closed, the window was open and Murray jumped through that. As soon as he got his surroundings, he looked violently towards me and started charging towards me. I knew what was going on now; the environment of this scene had made it so Murray was trying to kill me. I cried out “No, Murray! Stop!” as I kept backing away further and further towards the door. Sly and Bentley grew a really concerned look on their face and went to each side of me to grab me and evacuate me out of the scene, back through the door and back into the house.

When we were back into the house, I followed Sly and Bentley across the kitchen area as they were talking to me again. As we headed into the dining room, Bentley asked me “And who's your favourite member of the Cooper gang?”. I thought about it before I replied but I said “Well, sorry to say this but my favourite is actually Murray... Despite him trying to kill me”. Sly and Bentley weren't offended at all and rather, they sounded happy to hear that.

This random blue soft toy then appeared in my hands and it looked nothing like Murray, but the aura coming from it suggested that it was Murray. The only thing that suggested Murray's appearance were the eyes, covered by the goggles but that was it. I hugged the toy, carrying it around with me while Sly and Bentley quietly followed me around the house. I spoke to the toy like it would say something back to me but that never happened.

As I came across one door in the house, I remembered that it was the one that led to the killing scene. I said to myself, “Gack! Keep away from that door...” and then to the toy, “We're not going in there or some bad things could happen with you”. I envisioned that the toy would transform back into the real simulated Murray and the killing attempt would repeat. The dream then ended there.
