Dream No. 783 - Missed The Wedding

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, I was at my house, and I was apparently invited to Riku’s wedding (but I didn’t know who he was going to marry). I was going to lead and conduct the choir in singing during some parts of the event. I went to my study room to pick out which dress I was going to wear. However, as soon as I picked the one I wanted to wear, another dress appeared on the rack and tempted me away from the original one. The process kept repeating itself.

Eventually, I decided what dress I wanted to wear, but by then, I had realised the wedding. What was worse is that the choir were there without me. I can’t remember anything else about this dream.

Dream No. 697 - Separated Sections

Dream 697 A - Drive Or Stay Home
I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, my family were planning on going to a holiday to Apollo Bay. My parents were discussing arrangements at the time such as who was going to drive there. It was supposedly going to be a long drive, so I suggested that I drive a portion of the way. I said to asked my mum if I could drive down the portion of the major road that was going to be straight, but my dad wasn’t having any of it.

After I failed to get the message through to my dad, my mum tried explaining to him. He kept insisting though that I wasn’t allowed to drive and he said it in a mean and somewhat aggressive way. Though by now, I wanted my way and since my dad kept resisting, I snapped and said that I wasn’t going to go on the holiday with them at all and that I was going to stay home. The dream ended as I walked into the house to begin my home-stay and my parents and brother were getting ready to leave.

Dream 697 B - Kairi's Light
The dream started with me wondering around in my old house. A middle aged Asian lady approached me and brought my attention to some sort of video that Kairi had made to supposedly teach others about her light and its powers. As she suggested for me to watch it, I went over to the sitting room and sat on the couch as the lady set up the video and darkened the room. The rest of the dream was now a sub-scene, which was the actual video, the dream camera now actually immersing me in it rather than playing from the sitting room.

The scene showed Kairi in The Final World and both Sora and Riku were also there with her; all in their KH3 appearances. Also, as the entire scene played, Kairi’s theme was running in the background. Kairi was saying something, insinuating that she used to have different powers but that she chose her current light powers for a reason. She then went to the group. Although they were standing equally apart from each other, it’s like the dream gave the illusion of Sora being in the middle and Riku was off to the side.

And then the dream camera went to a close up of Sora, though I can’t exactly explain what he was doing persay, I think he ended up looking at me, studying me, but I’m not sure. But then the dream panned out again and that’s when Kairi was seen to close her eyes and then peacefully ascend somewhat, with when she was at the highest, she was glowing with all this light. When she descended again, she walked back over to the dream camera again to supposedly communicate with me. She did say more but I forgot what it was that she said. The dream ended after this.

This is the second time I have successfully completed a task for a 'dream project' that I have set. I thought since Riku is my current dream guide, and he's from Kingdom Hearts which is a world that seems to have laws of its own, I thought I'd do something to give back to him for helping me pass all my university subjects as well as all the other times he's helped me in-dream. I thought that since the last KH game, Sora has gone missing; so the dream project that I have set is for me to incubate dreams where I may get fictional leads on Sora. The dreams form the 'assignment' component, and then in waking life, I'm going to write an imaginary report on my dream findings which forms the 'exam' component.

For the assignment component, I set six compulsory tasks and one optional task to carry out in dream. The tasks are as follows:
Task 1 - Have Riku take me to Shibuya so I can gauge the area that Sora has to survive in until IRL canon rescue via whatever game they make next.
Task 2 - Conduct a supervised audit on Yozora. 'Supervised audit' meaning that Riku has to be accessible for assistance if Yozora gets bad in the dream.
Task 3 - Get Riku's perspective on his connection with Sora.
Task 4 - Pull Sora for a one-time 1-on-1 meeting with me so I can get his perspective on any matters.
Task 5 - Explore the Destiny Islands to get some leads on Sora's homeworld or something about he himself. Riku can take me or I can go independently.
Task 6 - Conduct an independent audit on Organisation XIII. 'Independent audit' meaning I don't need a dream guide in attendence.
Task 7 (optional) - Get Kairi's perspective on her connection with Sora.

Once again, Task 7 was optional, meaning I wasn't attempting to incubate it in real life, but could execute it if I stumbled upon it in a dream, which is what happened last night (this morning actually; the sun was up when I woke up and fell back asleep).

So far I have completed Task 5 (Dream 693 C) and Task 7 (Dream 697 B). I still have 5 tasks (1, 2, 3, 4 and 6) to go before I write up the paper which I have given myself the imaginary rule of two days to write 'till it's due. The two days will be set once all 7 tasks have been completed.

Lastly, although Riku was in the scene, I have not declared him as a dream guide here, because this felt like it was Kairi's spotlight and Riku was such an insignificant part of it, so much so that he didn't even shudder or speak.

Dream No. 676 - Mystery Of The Possessed Kingdom Hearts Characters

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, it was a simulation of Kingdom Hearts and for some time, the first-person entity in the dream was Sora (in his KH3 appearance; in-fact, all characters were in their KH3 appearance). He was in this world which seemed to be like a forest with ancient ruins scattered throughout it. The King (Mickey) was instructing him throughout a mission which seemed to, though, have some dark, creepy and somewhat psychotic vibe about it. Sora had to collect these red coins (120 of them) and the later the coins, they were harder to find and some even triggered weird events for Sora.

The dream seemed to change scenes but it was regarding the same situation. I was now amongst Riku as well as Aqua and Terra in a different, seemingly more peaceful part of the forest. The King wasn’t there, but through his energy, we knew that Sora was in trouble. In-fact, Riku, Terra and Aqua spoke to me, wanting me to go on a scouting mission for them. Ventus was with them but he didn’t really say anything and was rather hiding being Terra and Aqua as if he was their child. I realised that the reason they wanted me to go is because as I am not an official member of Kingdom Hearts; Organisation XIII would not recognise me and so I could do whatever I wanted without being caught.

The dream now split into two different scenes of what each party was doing. Firstly, the dream went to Riku, Ventus, Terra and Aqua who now seemed to set up base under a great big majestic tree and they were there waiting for me. Terra and Aqua were sitting on an additional stump on the side and were casually conversing with each other (though there was no sound from them, just visual) as Ventus seemed to be eating a bowl of porridge, but not by himself. Riku was spoon-feeding Ventus and I believed Riku was practising his feeding technique as a dream guide for when I would return. As Terra and Aqua had a calm, casual energy, there was a nervous energy coming off Riku like he was extremely worried that I wouldn’t make it back safely.

Now the dream went to my scene. I was walking to this more open area and I saw these characters glowing with some light-greenish data shield around them; they were recognisable Disney characters from Kingdom Hearts. In the real life games, Donald and Goofy are Sora’s main companions but in this dream, they were his closest, nastiest prison guards. Sora didn’t have any obvious restrictions but if he moved from in-between Donald and Goofy, the possessed characters would hurt him very badly (any characters with the shields moulded around them).

Even though the characters were extremely nasty and creepy when possessed, I walked around without a care as I recalled I would not be recognised by any of them; though my energy was that of sheer nervousness. Upon assessing the group, I shockingly noticed that Kairi was also possessed and so could also very well hurt Sora. The dream camera then went to a close-up of Sora, Donald and Goofy. Whoever was possessed would be able to say some of the nastiest, most horrible things in somewhat of a deep robotic tone; and this was Goofy at the moment, threatening Sora… Sora did dare not move or say a word. However, Goofy’s shield seemed to switch off and he was trying to cram as much in as he could naturally. However, it wasn’t long before his shield came back on and he was as psychotic as ever. Donald just stood there all the time, looking like he could hit Sora with a baseball bat.

Goofy seemed to now be giving the ultimate speech of sheer terror and Donald now looked so violent like he was ready to pounce. I even felt Riku’s energy of sheer terror from afar, being worried sick about his dreamer. The speech did it; as Donald and Goofy remained on the hill to bar Sora; the rest of the possessed characters, including Kairi, got violent with each other. The dream camera even ended up doing a close up on the Pirates of the Caribbean group who were punching each other in the face while laughing in their faces like drunkards. I had seen enough and I figured it was time to head back to the group at the great tree before something would indeed happen to me too.

As I quickly but quietly slipped away, I started off with a little dash and propelled myself into the air. I gained the best feeling inside me as I was to fly across the forest to return ‘home’, this energy of sheer joy and excitement to see my Kingdom Hearts family again. Flying felt so much fun as I went up and down and then straight forward, but making a slight left curve to steer towards the great tree, and now this triumphant sounding music was playing as I continued towards the great tree.

Now as I was flying straight again, as soon as I caught sight of the great tree, Aqua and Terra smiled and started waving at me. However, Riku seemed to have his back turned and was still doing something with Ventus. Terra took a quick second to tap Riku on the back and had a look like ‘told you she’d make it’. Riku turned around quickly in a flustered manner and had the most surprised look on his face, like he was gasping in astonishment, as he then smiled and waved to welcome me back along with Terra and Aqua. While I was still at full speed, just before I entered under the shade of the tree; the dream ended and I woke up.

I also ended up discussing this dream, so I'm also going to share here what I said about it on my Tumblr account:

I’ve treated Kingdom Hearts differently compared to the past video game worlds I’ve incorporated in my dreams. Because Kingdom Hearts is such a large group and they all seem to be ‘friends’ with each other, I felt bad about using only Riku and therefore perhaps taking him away from the rest of them; so I’ve devised a 3 Level system in which the whole KH group can contribute. As Riku is my dream guide; he’s the only one on Level 3. Those that are not dream guides but I think still have a strong competence are on Level 2; they are Aqua, Terra, Roxas and Sora; they can act as substitutes if my dreams were to impair Riku in any way. The rest are on Level 1 which are those who are... Casual players; they are Kairi, Axel, Xion, Ventus and Namine. For those shocked about Kairi; I MAY promote her to Level 2 depending on how she performs IRL in Melody of Memory. It’s funny because I think the Level system was really demonstrated in Dream No. 676, but I’ll get to that recap eventually.

So, since Riku was maintaining significant weakness as a dream guide; I decided to write a letter to Aqua and Terra in my IRL task journal, asking them to ‘speak to him’ about some points I as a dreamer wanted to address. I wrote to Terra because he’s Riku’s predecessor in their world; and then I included Aqua because I creatively thought ‘what if Terra gets another spell of darkness or some kind of rage?’. It was amazing to actually see results, but I was not expecting Dream No. 676.

I’ll give the actual full dream recap in another post, but here’s some discussion on it. In Dream No. 676, Riku, Terra and Aqua appeared to me (after the first scene was about Sora rather than me). Ventus was also there, but he seemed to be ‘hiding’ behind Terra and Aqua like a kid; so that there emphasises my Subconscious’ (SubC’s) assertion that I had put Ventus on Level 1; whereas Terra and Aqua’s Level 2 was demonstrated by them ‘outlining the mission’ to me; and in this dream, it also seemed that they were teaching Riku about being a dream guide. In-fact it felt like the Wayfinder Trio were the main ones featured but Riku was brought along as that link between me and them.

In a sub-scene, while I was gone; Aqua and Terra were sitting at the side on a stump and were talking with each other. Then there was Riku and Ventus at a table; Ventus had a bowl of porridge and Riku was spoon-feeding it to him. I feel like Aqua and Terra had asked Ventus to be a ‘practise dummy’ for Riku and Ventus had agreed. Riku may never spoon-feed me a meal in a subsequent dream, but it was just a metaphor at least of general caring conduct as a ‘dream guide’ in my universe.

Like Riku still has a way to go to be a fully-fledged dream guide in my universe (he still has to master hugging and carrying), but he tried so damn hard in Dream No. 676. In-fact, Riku was the sole one to have the fear of God in him that I wouldn’t make it back alive (like a parent, he was worried sick for my safety), whereas the energies from Aqua and Terra showed that they were always confident I’d make it back to them safely. In-fact when I was returning, it was Terra that tapped Riku on the back and Riku was absolutely shocked. Ventus just continued to twiddle around at his end of the table. So with our group, it felt like a family of 3 ‘adults’ (Riku, Terra and Aqua) and 2 ‘children’ (me and Ventus).

I loved the interaction I had with these guys in Dream No. 676, so I decided afterwards to draw us. I’m the one in-between Riku and Terra. My outfit is consistent; I devised this to be my Kingdom Hearts OC outfit; I thought my usual school uniform would not suit, so this is my new get-up. The background is externally sourced from a wallpaper image but this is similar to what the environment was like in the dream. As I said; I’ll put the actual dream recap in a separate post. Dream No. 674 - Have A Jacket

I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, my dad and I started our walk on what would be an extremely long track that would go on for miles and miles and have many different stages. The first stage felt normal, and was a peaceful walk in real life, but eventually, things started to get weird. There seemed to be this huge stretch of wet concrete, which seemed more like some really nasty slop to me. There seemed to be some sort of linear hole in the middle of the goop, where people would be forcefully submerged under by the dream and would then get out on the other side. Thankfully, my dad and I didn’t actually have to experience that in the dream.

We ended up at some sort of beach which was heard was really special. Apparently 18-Volt was there to take people past a really nasty point on the track. As we entered onto the sand, I was really excited at the fact I would see 18-Volt and was thrilled at the idea of having a lap ride again. So I beckoned for 18-Volt to appear, but it is not what I expected. 18-Volt seemed to appear, but behind some sort of door and only by his energy, I could perceive how he looked and felt.

His appearance was his realistic Game & Wario appearance but he was actually nowhere near happy to see me. He threw his rainbow jacket over the top of the door and then actually walked off in a huge stink. I was in total disbelief and just walked back to my dad, looking and feeling humiliated. That’s all I can remember about this dream.



Dream No. 674
Dream Guide: 18-Volt (?)

This dream was quite interesting; and not because something good happened, but quite the opposite. Here I was in the dream thinking 18-Volt and I would be happy to see each other again, but what 18-Volt did shocked me not only in the dream, but in hindsight when I woke up as well. I believe that in my universe, 18-Volt might have felt hurt and betrayed, or like Riku has come to replace him. It's like 18-Volt's action in itself was his way of calling me an asshole.

Then again, 18-Volt felt too perfect as a dream guide; I will elaborate on this. In my dreams, 18-Volt didn't seem to show ANY signs of a weakness whereas for fairness and human relation, I declare that my dream guides and/or tulpas should have strengths and weaknesses; and indeed they are all different. But 18-Volt was so perfect and felt like a mother.

So I think I have discovered that 18-Volt's strength is that of ensuring my emotional wellbeing and that he gives the best hugs. Yet his weakness is when he finds out he isn't being utilised as much. In the past, when I changed primary dream guides, Dreamy WB or Murray never got angry at me and even after years, they appreciate it when they see me again. Murray actually has extreme joy when realising we haven't seen each other for ages; whereas Dreamy WB continues to help me nonchalantly like nothing was ever wrong. It's 18-Volt that has been the first ever in dream guide history to snap like that.

And I seemed to have come across Riku's strengths and weaknesses already as well. Riku provides effective help, but struggles actually interacting with me, and cannot seem to interact with other non-KindgomHearts dream characters at all. Riku is also a weak hugger.

So to counteract both weaknesses at the same time; within my task journal, I have asked Riku to meet with 18-Volt. The hope is that by Riku approaching 18-Volt, 18-Volt's 'replacement' is the one declaring that he is not there to replace 18-Volt. Then also, this is someone for Riku to practise interaction with and ensure he has a connection with the other dream guides. Because at the moment, Riku is the only one who does not interact with the others; almost like he's isolated from the rest of the dream guide team.

In theory, each new dream guide has seemed to be taught by their predecessor (18-Volt was taught by Dreamy WB), so Riku was SUPPOSED to have his introductions delivered by 18-Volt; lack of dream guide introduction may also explain why Riku still has a lot of weaknesses despite him already appearing in a few dreams.

This dream has revealed a lot to me; and rather than it being solely bad, it has given me a lot of interesting things to look at.

Editing to make another observation. Perhaps Riku and 18-Volt don't like each other. The reason I say this is because of what happened in Dream No. 665. When Riku was carrying me oddly, I said that 18-Volt does it better than him and this seemed to affect him for the rest of the time that he was in my dimension. And then now, the fact that 18-Volt knows I'm with Riku, he gives me the biggest 'F U' ever by not helping my dad and I. So it may seem like I'm caught in the middle of a rift between a Warioware and a Kingdom Hearts character having gripes with each other. I may need to help them resolve it as I have always wanted my dream guides to get along with each other like one big happy family.

Dream No. 580 - Academic Misconduct

For the start of the dream, I was at Killester College and I was heading into room KD02; I was wearing my high school summer dress. There I saw WB heading to one of the lockers and so I started talking to her. I said to her, something like, “Wait a minute… 2019 and you’re still in school? That shouldn’t be happening; in-fact, that’s academic misconduct”, insinuating that she was supposed to have graduated in 2017 like in real life. She answered but I forgot what she said, she sounded somewhat clueless and also slightly annoyed like she would towards me in real life. At the same time, she was willing to hear what I was going to do. I said to her “I’m going to call someone over, his name is 18-Volt, and he’ll get you guys out”.

The teacher came in and I proceeded to leave the classroom and do my thing. On the way out, another teacher Mr. Bl had stopped me and spoke to me, so I told him what I was going to do. He said to me, “But just know that the school policy is to delay”, which I knew meant to not act until you have thought about the consequences. I needed to act now though and I knew what I was doing and so I replied to Mr. Bl, “Don’t worry, I’m calling someone in who can handle this professionally which is something I wouldn’t be able to do myself”. Mr. Bl had a gleam in his face, meaning to me that he accepted this idea and now I could get moving.

As I walked across the lawn of the admin area and into the main school driveway, Mr. K had crept up behind me. He looked normal but then things started to turn gruesome very quickly. He had grabbed me with his own hands and was attempting to undress me. I told him to stop but he wouldn’t. With me struggling against him, I was getting lower and lower to the ground, trying to hunch over and keep some dignity but Mr. K was just too strong and his hands were dismantling my clothes from me. As I bent as low as I could, I thought to myself, “I hope 18-Volt comes soon”.

While still battling to keep my dignity in-tact, I looked outwards and saw 18-Volt in his Warioware Twisted appearance, he was walking down Spr. Road and in through the pedestrian gate. He was only walking but when he saw what was going on, he came at a brisk pace and then pushed and pulled, grimacing as he pried Mr. K off me.

Once 18-Volt had finally got Mr. K off, the camera zoomed in on him, he now had the realistic Game and Wario appearance, still in his jacket and pants though; interestingly, his teeth showing as he talked even though the real life picture doesn’t show his teeth. With his face baffled and dumbfounded, he said to Mr. K, “Who told you you could have some wild sex with her?”. Mr. K looked like he wanted to do more but the look that 18-Volt was giving suggested that he was totally appalled and was not going to leave my side. There was no other option but for Mr. K to leave the scene. 18-Volt then put his arm around me, escorting me back towards the classroom. Along the way, the scene had changed.

I was now at my old house and I was painting and colouring some polystyrene Easter decorations. The only thing is that I was colouring them partially rather than doing the whole thing which was weird. Eventually my mum came into the dining room and left this sticker book with me. I opened the sticker book and was freaking out in excitement when I realised that it was a sticker book of 18-Volt in all his various appearances. For the rest of the scene, I was using some of the stickers and sticking them in random places.

It then went onto the last scene of the dream. I was on Twitter and was waiting for Edward (Ed) B to like my Easter post that I had directed to him. I ended up getting a notification and it was that someone called Caitlin had commented on my post. This was a good thing but my excitement had fizzled out as this wasn’t Ed, I was now rather miffed. The dream ended there.



Dream No. 580
Dream Guide: 18-Volt

It's always interesting how 18-Volt has a realistic human appearance in many of my later dreams. It was in this dream though that his appearance was compared in the same scene! The fact that 18-Volt was initially in a cartoon appearance and then as the dream zooms in, his appearance is suddenly realistic. This emphasises an amazing concept that although he is a character based on a Nintendo game, he becomes so believably human that you'd think he does exist, especially when you can also physically feel him in the dream as well.

So for the first part of the scene, he appeared in this style (WarioWare Twisted):


Then when the scene had been zoomed in onto him, he appeared like this (Game & Wario) but with some additional features:

Add his normal green clothing to this as well as being able to see his teeth when he talked.

Date of Dream: FRI 1 MAR - 2019



Dream No. 551 - Lighting The Pillars

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, I thought I was in a familiar suburb but then it was also very distorted. I was in this court which had a strip of shops and small businesses placed all the way along it. Apparently, this small business was owned by American voice actor Edward (Ed) Bosco. His role in the dream though, as this business owner, was to tutor high school students.

I entered into what was the facade of a scruffy small business building but the inside was just a house and it was also very neat and tidy. I didn’t end up seeing Ed in any of the scenes but one person that I did walk past was what seemed to be my deceased grandfather. There wasn’t much interaction with him though. In-fact, I have forgotten what happened in the majority of the indoor scenes.

When I went into the backyard, there was this girl around my age but I have forgotten her appearance. There was something going on outside and Ed was mentioned to be in relation to the issue. There was a large array of small chopped wooden logs sitting vertically on a flat wooden board, acting as a bench. The girl was mentioning something about how Ed was being nasty to some of the other students. Ed then came in some distorted form and said how the logs couldn’t be lit. The girl was defending me and saying that I could light them, she encouraged me and signalled for me to do it. I used my fire element and as the flames from my mouth hit each log, the top lit up like a candle. That’s all I can remember about this dream.

There is a new character in this dream; Edward Bosco who is an American voice actor. As this journal entry is done past date; there can be trends seen in newer dreams; Edward seems to be a persistent character. There will be writing conventions in future dreams to keep his identity safe because if you are an industry professional searching for a new job, sometimes, recruiters want to search you up on the internet and who knows how far they'll go with the information they're looking to obtain about their future potential employee. There's gotta be some way to say that Edward made an appearance but not in a way that he can be traced and have his reputation ruined just because an employer came across this and read that, for instance, he took my banana off me and ate it when I wasn't looking (If Dreamy WB was there, she would pounce him at first instance even before he could put the banana in his mouth).

Back to the important stuff; at the start of each scene where he comes in, he will be introduced with "Edward (Ed) B". Then for any subsequent time he is mentioned, he will solely be referred to as "Ed" (which is what he is commonly called anyway). If there is any change to this convention, it will be addressed at the bottom of the dream that the change has taken place in.

Dream No. 500 - Amateur Gamer Boy

I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, there was this boy that was at my house and he classified himself a gamer; he was a very young kid. Something happened but I forgot what it was and so I called out for 18-Volt. He did appear in a very weird way, he was not 18-Volt at all but was rather… Some toy house? Additionally, whenever 18-Volt’s presence was with me, the dream would give me the sensation as if it wanted to wake me up. This happened a few times and so eventually, I slowed down the rate at which I requested 18-Volt. That’s all I can remember for this dream.

I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, I was in my old primary and the environment was really distorted. At one stage, I came across one of the teachers, Mrs N, and she looked very distorted. She mentioned something to me about how the current year 11s are doing what I did when I was year 10. That’s all I can remember about this dream.

Dream No. 487 - He's Resting In Peace

This was a very quick dream. I remember that as I was falling asleep, I would notice occasional white flashes. To the actual dream now, there was no sound, only sight. This dream played in third person mode. The scene took place in what seemed to be the base of the Heavens, on a hard cloud that living beings could stand on. The camera angle was from the side as it showed me on the far end and 18-Volt in his WarioWare Gold appearance, standing next to me. At the furthest end of the cloud was my mum’s deceased uncle Peter hovering holographically as he spoke to me but also took notice of 18-Volt. He looked completely contempt and happy with the environment he was in, suggesting that he was most certainly resting in peace. Peter's appearance was also completely accurate to how the family remembers him from real life. The scene went quickly and I soon woke up.

The occurrence of this dream is interesting and is rather prompt. My mum's uncle passed away on SUN 20 NOV - 2011 at 5:00 AM (AEDT), so TUE 20 NOV - 2018 is his 7 year death anniversary. On the 19th, mum and I went to visit the remaining family in Geelong, no correlation to the death anniversary though, we just wanted to go because we haven't been in a while. Peter was mentioned in conversation though and I said to them, "If I hear anything from him, I'll let you know". On the morning of the 20th, I had a WBTB in which I used the time to "speak to 18-Volt" (one of my reinforcement techniques). I told him that it was Peter's death anniversary today and also a little bit about who he was. I then asked 18-Volt if he could accompany me to see Peter and check in on him. I specifically asked him to be a mediator so that unauthorised deceased spirits wouldn't be able to cause havoc upon me. I finally said that I would allow a week for the task to be done as I wouldn't expect a dream to incubate straight away... SubC. proved me wrong.

It's after doing the general, non-lucid WBTB with 18-Volt that the dream occurred (after 9:15 AM) and rather than just seeing normal black after having my eyes shut for a while, there were also the white line flashes. It seems like the dream had gotten straight to the point and there was no nonsense in it; it was quick but vivid. I'm absolutely amazed how it occurred immediately as well as being successfully on the day of the death anniversary.

As mentioned in the recap, the only sense that seemed to be at play in the dream was sight. The dream had acknowledged my request for 18-Volt to be with me as that's the first thing the dream camera showed from the third person angle. He wasn't standing more to the front or the back, so he wasn't dominating or receding; he was right next to me, which to me, shows a united effort or a united bond and the feeling of "we're in this this together". There was some space in-between us though which suggests the sense of our own, individual identity and that despite the bond, we are still two different beings.

Whereas me and 18-Volt were standing on the ground in physical form, Peter was floating as a ghost. This shows the difference that I am from the land of the living and 18-Volt takes my side from thought. On the other hand, Peter has come from the land of the deceased and is now most definitely a spirit. It was just the three of us in this scene, there was no one else or nothing else that could cause any potential harm or distraction. In the position that Peter was floating in, it suggests to me that he has descended from the higher "souls of the deceased allowed only" part of Heaven to meet me and 18-Volt in a secret, uniform, public space designated to these kinds of interactions.

I find it absolutely heartwarming that Peter also seemed to acknowledge 18-Volt's presence as he would actually sometimes turn his gaze towards 18-Volt and move his mouth and gesture at him (remember, the dream only used sight, no sound). The task was recognised though as I was the main one that Peter interacted with. How Peter interacted and behaved in this dream tells me that he is completely satisfied with where he is and that he didn't have any particular messages for me to pass onto my family. The dream scene was very quick overall which maybe does suggest that Peter much prefers to rest and this was more like a reassurance thing so that I could indeed tell everyone that he was/is fine.

Dream No. 444 - Separated Sections

Dream 444 A - The Scary Metal Room
I don’t remember what happened at the start of the dream. From where I do remember, I was in the car park of the private hospital in my old local area. 18-Volt was there in his WarioWare Gold appearance but I forgot what we were doing at the start. I then seemed to be in this metal box that was situated in the car park and 18-Volt, in physical form but hovering, was talking to me. He said that he couldn’t be with me anymore and hearing that had me concerned.

He explained why and said that the room was now going to be really hot; then the temperature actually rose. Then he made mention of the sun and the light became absolutely blinding that entered through the vents, causing me to squint really heavily. It almost felt like it was the start of some sort of nightmare as all these really horrible conditions were coming into play once 18-Volt had warned me of them. That’s all I can remember about this dream.

Dream 444 B - Fear Of A Power Outage
I can’t remember much about this dream. From what I can remember, I was in a distorted version of my bedroom and my year 10 homeroom teacher was there. He was asking me to do something for him which I felt horribly awkward and grossed out about. It involved hovering a sheet over him as he walked to an ambulance outside… Wearing nothing!

In later scene of the dream, there was this little girl that had a lot of physical features about her, making her look half way between WB and Dreamy WB, but she was a completely different person. She was asking me for help and so I took her into my house. I walk her over into the sitting room and she mentions something about if there would be a power outage. I put one hand on her shoulder, the other arm pointing at the light switch and told her not to worry. I flicked a switch but the lights didn’t come on. That’s all I can remember for this dream.

Dream No. 414 - She Who Demands Loses All

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, I was in some sort of church and there was a wedding going on there. I saw the groom but couldn’t recognise him at all. I then heard there was a problem when it came to the bride… The couple had absolutely no wedding party with the but the dream emphasised this only on the bride’s side. Apparently the backstory is that the bride wouldn’t let her three bridesmaids choose their own dresses and so they left her.

I came up to the bride and offered to be a multi-function bridesmaid and flower girl. “I’m wearing white”, I said to her and so then she graciously accepted me offer. So as the bride and the groom were walking up to the alter, I was following the bride. That’s all I can remember for this dream.

Dream No. 410 - Separated Sections

Dream 410 A - Everything Except My Request (Lucid Dream 25)
I can’t remember how the dream started. From where I can remember, I was in some unknown building and the corridors had lifts everywhere, ultimately freaking me out. I said to myself, “I’m not going in any of them without 18-Volt”. I then picked up my pace and tried to walk the heck out of that building. I noticed that the scene was fading on me and changing into a new scene.

For the second scene, I was in my brother’s room, just casually walking around when I suddenly got the intuition to look at my hands. When I looked down at my hands, I only had five fingers but they were clutched around a pen… The hand looked no different to real life but I ended up reciting the automatic response of “I am dreaming”. I then decided to do some more reality checks to make sure that I was actually lucid.

I decided to approach the kitchenette area where there was not one, not two, but multiple mirrors on the wall in this dream. On second thought though, I actually did want to go and look into the mirrors as I was worried about what I would look like and thought that the dream was going to make me look scary. Instead, I decided that I would count my toes, so I walked over to the couch and put my foot on there, counting six toes!

Once I knew I was lucid, the intention hit me and I started diligently calling for 18-Volt but the dream was not going to co-operate for him either. I was calling “18-Volt!” like a broken record while now walking around the entire house on a hunt. At first, there was nothing but because I was lucid, I did not give up. Eventually, something did appear but the dream was only trying to give me some green coloured animal, I forgot which animal it was though.

I shook my head in disbelief and sighed “no...” to the dream and so then the holographic animal disappeared and I continued on with “18 Volt!”, now heading out through the laundry and into the backyard. Half way down the slope of the backyard, the dream decides to try something else on me… My dad starts fading into the scene and again, this time I yell, “no!”, then muttering to myself “Oh my god, you give me everything but 18-Volt”.

Then I went into the garage and out the front door, completing the loop of the house after calling for 18-Volt about 100+ times. When I was walking out of the front driveway, I finally noticed 18-Volt holographically appearing lower down in the court but as that was happening, I was waking up… I wasn’t happy about it but my ability to talk in the dream was now ceased.

Dream 410 B - The Croatian Tongue
I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I can remember, I was standing just outside the back door to my house, on the skinny concrete strip, talking to 18-Volt; I was facing towards the house, he was facing towards the lawn. Without thinking, I ended up for the first time in a dream, saying something in Croatian, I have forgotten what I said though. Looking absolutely confused and baffled, he then asked me what the heck I was going on about. He said something along the lines of “What kind of gibberish is that?”.

Before I had time to think of a reply, and to my surprise, Dreamy WB appeared in her dark-rust coloured hair, year 12 hoodie and black leggings and shoes, floating beside 18-Volt and she told him while pointing to me that I was not speaking gibberish, but rather “In the Croatian language”. 18-Volt then looks and goes to Dreamy WB, “She’s Croatian?”. And when Dreamy WB nodded in confirmation, 18-Volt grew this look of sheer amazement on his face, then looking to me and saying “No way!”. As this was happening, the dream was fading out and I woke up.

At the start of the night, I actually had an endless stream of nightmares; the only thing is that I can't recall any of the details. Due to this endless stream of nightmares, I woke up at 5:00 AM and didn't fall asleep until 7:00 AM; this was after I came back from the bathroom, looked at myself in the mirror and thought "if you don't get some more sleep, your mum won't even be able to recognise her own daughter"... I looked absolutely horrifying, especially around the eyes (I think I should have taken a selfie and posted it here on DV as proof!... Jokes).

Where the intention for 18-Volt in the lucid came in is that I all of sudden discover that the workplace I am doing work-experience at in December is actually conducting the interviews from the 10th of September! You might be thinking, what does 18-Volt and attending the real life interview have to do with each other? That's not the correlation though. It's the fact that I will be required to go to the 13th floor and as past dreams have suggested, I have a big phobia of elevators. Originally, Dreamy WB has been providing me with the in-dream therapy but lately the dream has been tampering with her and not allowing her to appear.

I could have ultimately put an intense amount of time into getting Dreamy WB back but there isn't much time until September the 10th. I feel that with this approach, the dream would only try to mess her up more and more and I would be wasting my time, rather than actually trying to get a reasoning with my phobia, allowing me to become somewhat competent. So instead of pursuing Dreamy WB at the moment, I have decided to go with 18-Volt. I like dream characters with a larger complexion when it comes to things like helping me face my fears as they can not only hug me, but also pick me up off the ground and hold me if need be, so I feel a higher sense of security with them, especially with a big, strong man. As September the 10th is very soon, I'm trying to make a very concerted effort to get as much exposure as possible, spending approximately 2 - 3 hours in the day, writing detailed letters or task plans in my exercise book. I stated that the minimum amount of times I would accept before September the 10th is twice (once each week) but these interviews can happen any time from then until the 27th of September, so if it is later, then I would prefer to have practice with 18-Volt at least 4 - 6 times as a minimum. I said that I would be competent to ride elevators in real life when I no longer have to touch 18-Volt (or Dreamy WB if she decides to come back on her own) and I feel okay when I wake up. Otherwise, if I don't have enough practice in-dream, then I'll be clambering to find a stair-well. Once the interview period is over (and hopefully 18-Volt's calmed me down enough), then I will be having a big crack-down on the Awareness Behind The Dream in-order to get Dreamy WB back.

A bit about Dream 410 B now. I find it impressive that as 18-Volt is expressing his confusion, Dreamy WB appears on his side to clarify it to him. Usually, when there is a new significant dream character, I often have a series of "getting to know you dreams" (I don't plan these ones, they just come) where we meet for the first time and then they end up interacting with me and then learning about me as well. In real life, I have written that if it was possible to have 18-Volt go and see Dreamy WB to get behind the scenes tutorials on how my dreams work and how I conduct myself; so that's maybe what manifested in her appearing to him to explain my "Croatian" situation. By the way, Dreamy WB was telling the truth; in real life, I am actually Croatian.

Dream No. 403 - Little Dreamer-To-Be

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, my friend JH had originally invited me to attend a party with her on Sunday night. When it got to Sunday night, I received a message from her on Facebook. She said that she wasn’t going on Sunday night anymore and rather that we would go on Monday night. I then went and asked my mum if I could attend the party and she said no. I kept trying to convince her but then she very sternly yelled “no!” and started to get very angry with me now.

The next scene took place in the dining room of my old house but there was no transition into this scene, rather, it was a direct link of the last scene. I was sitting on the table but I forgot what I was doing specifically. There was talk of the boys from my brother’s university having a games night and it had something to do with either dominoes or dice. I wanted to attend but my mum said I wasn’t allowed to and I felt cut about that.

Then out of nowhere, an envelope appears on the dining room table. I open the envelope to find that it is something from JO. It looks like an elegantly written letter on some good quality thick cardboard paper. At the start of it, she uses emotional appeal by somehow almost over-praising my talent of music. On reading the letter further, I found that she was inviting me to an event. I said to myself, “She’s just trying to promote herself.

My mum then comes up to me and insists that I go to JO’s function but I said I didn’t want to. No matter what I said, my mum kept going and once again got angry at me. I was thinking to myself, “She forces me to go to this thing yet she won’t let me go to a party with JH...”. I kept saying no for a while but my mum got angrier and angrier and actually quite soon, I felt the need to run away.

This boy appeared and his name was Andreas, I was going to be mentoring this boy for the rest of the dream. He ran with me though the dining room which was now made of a longer area than in real life, so it almost felt like the room was endless. The house then morphed back into the layout of my current house again but that’s when my dad also now joined in on the chase.

Andreas and I ended up outside, I don’t know how we got down from the balcony though… You’d kill yourself in real life. We were now running in the pergola area, towards the fence and it was the area between the Greek residents at the back of the house and the next door neighbour to the left of my house if you were looking out towards the front driveway from the garage. Sometimes I would look to Andreas to make sure he was keeping up and at other times, I would look back to see my parents hot on our tails and not falling back anytime soon.

At some point on the run, even if not his parents, Andreas was looking worried. I said to Andreas while still running, “If you call for Dreamy WB, Murray, or 18-Volt, someone will come and help you”, emphasising their names their names in a clear tone so he would understand. Firstly Andreas tried calling for Dreamy WB but nothing happened. He then decided to try 18-Volt next but nothing happened either. Andreas looked at me like “we’re doomed”; I suggested that he should try for 18-Volt again.

Second time lucky we were as something happened. The dream camera lifted up a bit to show the crystal clear blue sky. A very feint projection of 18-Volt showed, pointing towards the sun. He then disappeared and the sun came closer, shooting a thin ring of visible energy out from it. It didn’t affect me or Andreas but as the ring hit my mum and dad, they were pushed back slightly, allowing us a window of time to get away.

We indeed had more time that I could now plan how we were going to get out of the area. In order to be able to leave the area, we would have to go over all the houses, and so I taught Andreas how to jump onto rooftops in a sort of moon-jump motion. I was standing on one rooftop as I instructed Andreas on how to get onto consecutive rooftops without touching the ground. I then also told him that it was easier if he could find flat rooftops.

For some reason, after that, my attention was drawn back to the music room and so I actually went backwards. Andreas followed and I entered the music room to investigate some piece of musical equipment. I then had a thought that I have every colour of belt in my wardrobe except orange. There I saw it, apparently it was my orange belt with flower decorations attached onto it and my dad was using that belt to secure a piece of his equipment in place.

I quietly removed the belt off the piece of equipment and put in on myself. As I looked though the glass door, it acted as a mirror and so I was able to see the outfit I was wearing. Once I discovered the outfit I was wearing, I felt starstruck and so proud of myself… I love colourful outfits and that’s what I was wearing. It was a light blue denim dress with the orange belt, as well as coral coloured leggings and orange flats.

Soon though, the sight of my dad coming towards the music room caught my eye and I started to freak out. I had started running too late though as my dad saw but then he said something to me, I forgot what it was though. A big sign of relief had hit me and I had stopped, knowing that my dad wasn’t angry at me. With Andreas still standing at the side, not doing anything, my dad made a comment on my clothing and said that he liked more plain designs; he said he would have preferred it if I was wearing something like a dark grey and murky green. The dream then ended there.

As soon as I write to someone new, the dream thinks I want another dream guide. I literally quoted in my letter to 18-Volt that as a full-time gamer in 4th grade, he is likely to have little to no understanding of the dream world and its principles. So therefore, I was anticipating a more casual interaction, kind of like interacting with a friend in real life. I thought to be either directing and orientating him myself or alternatively, going down to his level and doing what he wants to do. So even though the dream seems to be pushing 18-Volt towards the direction of dream guide, I've placed him on trial for the rest of August (meaning he will not score points for dream guide assistance in this competition). If he continues to provide meaningful advice and assistance, then he will be granted the position of the third Dream Guide Team Member from September. 18-Volt's trial will be fast-tracked if he manages to pull off something amazing (based on the dreamer's discretion), this is feasible because the August guide currently in Slot 3 has not performed, so there are no points that have to be altered if 18-Volt exceeds the expectations of his trial.

Dream No. 391 - Wrong Man In The Van
Lucid Dream 24

There is one scene I can recall in the non-lucid segment of the dream. I was walking around Jells Park and I came across Murray just standing on the grass, off one the footpaths; he was in his Sly 2/3 appearance. I came up to him and we spoke. I forget everything we said but I do clearly remember this one line he said, which was “Africans talk with their mouths, but hippos talk with their muscles”, as he then flexed an arm. I consciously knew he was making a hilarious but mocking reference at Dreamy WB’s expense.

In the next scene that I can recall, I was in my house and it was pitch black at night. Everyone was in bed sleeping but I was up and walking about. I find myself in the sitting room next to the kitchen and my brother is laid out on a mattress on the floor. He wakes up and for some unknown reason, he is speaking to me, but with a violent tinge.

I become somewhat scared of him but for some reason, decide to go into the kitchen and when I looked towards the oven, I saw the clock and the time said 12:33.1 when in real life, the oven clock would show 0:33 (24hr time). I then gave a slight gasp and said to myself, “I’m in a dream!”, then walking back into the sitting room. My brother lifts his head up and once again in a mean tone, tells me I’m not dreaming.

I ignored him because I was intelligent enough to know that he was trying to tamper with my dreaming efforts. Instead, I looked up to the clock at the other end of the room and there I see it, evidence. The clock still has twelve numbers in the analogue position but not in the order of 1, 2, 3… and so on. Rather, the order was like 2, 10, 6, 4, 13… 13? This must mean that one number between 1 – 12 was replaced with this 13. As soon as I saw that 13 on the clock, I was definitely convinced that this was a dream.

My brother, still with a terribly mean and angry disposition about him was trying to tell me otherwise but I now just ignored him. I walked past the bar stools and stopped near the dining room. In the loudest voice I could, I yelled “Can I please have Dreamy WB and Murray in this dream?!”. Then a huge gush of wind started up and I was picked up and carried with it and a very fast and furious pace, being shot out through the top front window and off the balcony!

I soon discover that the dream has placed me onto Dreamy WB’s lap but I can’t see her, she was invisible in this dream. Gently, she descended from the balcony very slowly and then ascended up the court in the same manner. In the dream, the court seemed longer that in real life. Also, because I was lucid, I was able to perceive extra feelings when I was on her. At one point, I noticed that when the dream plonked me onto her, I wasn’t quite centred properly; so I squiggled slightly, even fixing my pants this time, and then a feeling of bliss came as I sunk into her.

Just as we were about to reach the top of the court, slowly, she turned around. I wondered why but then I saw a blue van coming up the road… It was a real life render of the Cooper van! It parked almost below where Dreamy WB was hovering. Still in the air, I saw Sly and Bentley, who were very small in this dream and also with very realistic graphics, standing behind the van. They didn’t end up doing any thing in the dream though. And then Dreamy WB descended and gently slid me off her.

With my feet now on the ground and me standing upright, Dreamy WB directed me to get into the van. She especially said for me to sit in the front. Since she was invisible, I only envisioned her with my conscious mind, hopping into the back. When I got seated though, this was not Murray at all! The dream character that was in the driver’s seat (left in Australian driving laws) was my dad! I wasn’t happy about this. I yelled out to the dream that I wanted Murray but nothing happened.

Then we took off and I saw that we were driving along a freeway, still in the middle of the night. All throughout the drive, I’m looking out the window and shouting to and cursing at the dream that I clearly wanted Murray… The dream still wouldn’t budge. The only thing it did was bend a facial feature of my dad’s but it would very quickly rebound to normal which made me less than pleased.

The venue we ended up at was some strange restaurant but it wasn’t one building, rather it was a whole complex. My dad was no longer with us and rather it was just me and Dreamy WB exploring the building, Dreamy WB who was now visible in a physical human form. She was wearing a black Kathmandu puffer jacket with black leggings and black canvas shoes. Her hair was straight and tied up in a ponytail.

This restaurant complex didn’t necessarily have a warm environment everywhere, in-fact, some areas were cold and factory-like. Eventually out of nowhere, other girls joined us and it’s now like we were having a social outing. In one the larger factory-like rooms, the group was all standing around in a circle besides some metal stairs and I noticed that Dreamy WB had a canned drink with her. I saw that it was some fizzy mango fruit drink but then she had also mixed it with some regular milk and once she had a swig of it, she offered for me to try some.

I came up to her, hesitant to try it at first but I did end up taking some. She asked me what I thought and at first, I said I liked it. But after having another sip, I changed my mind and thought it was disgusting, so I gave the drink back to her and let her finish it off. For the rest of the scene, the group were talking with each other but I forgot what about specifically. The dream then moved onto the next scene.

I found myself to be in my bedroom on a bright sunny morning. I got out of bed and walked around the house for a bit but then I still had a lucid awareness with me and so noticed some things were starting to become off. Finally, I notice I’m still in a dream and so I call out to the dream, “Hey! I’m not finished yet! Take me back to where I was!”.

The dream does take me back to the complex but it is day time and the grounds look more like a school, especially the undercover walkways. It was the same group of girls as from the night time scene but there is something different about Dreamy WB. She’s wearing the same clothing but she has the same facial features and voice as of R.McN, including the added glasses. This only phases me slightly and so I still do talk to the character as if it were Dreamy WB. At one point we were falling and so I was concerned but this so-called Dreamy WB reassured that she would be looking after me. The dream ended there from what I can recall.

I don’t remember much about this dream. From what I can remember, I was in some arcade place and I headed towards the claw machine. In there were all these toys related to the Sly Cooper series. I tried to grab one of Murray and I was successful. That’s all I can remember about this dream.
