Dream No. 624 - Recruits For The Project

I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, there was something going down in this cross between a school but also a university institute. The character planning the seemingly odd event was Fawful from the Mario and Luigi RPG series but it only showed a snippet of his character and then the rest was just a conscious thought.

For the remainer of the dream, I was doing as much as I could to recruit people for the task but I was seemingly unaware that Fawful was behind this and that he had any ulterior motives. There was one scene where my grandma from my dad’s side was setting up the area in this large room where some of us would be sleeping; it was as if she was officially working at the place as one of Fawful’s team. She had put the pillow upright for me but then I noticed that she had put a pillow next to my area, but seemingly upside down and on the foot area. I realised that this was for 18-Volt (whom I have not seen in dreams for months). Oddly though, my head would be next to 18-Volt’s feet if this was the case.

I went outside the building with the supposed knowledge that I was in the ‘Prep’ grade. When I was outside, it was claiming to be the grounds of Deakin University, where I caught a glimpse of AD, UD -> UU, and their mum and dad walking towards me. They didn’t say anything though and were rather passing by. After watching them walk off into the distance, I wondered if I would bump into WB but that didn’t seem to be the case for any more of the scene. The main purpose from this scene onwards though was to actively look for 18-Volt.

I had gone off the grounds and into this unknown area, just off the supposed border of Deakin. It was there that I emphasised the appearance of 18-Volt. The dream was literally constructing a character from scratch and so I went through every step. I told the dream that he had brown skin and black hair and that he also has blue glasses. The skin colour and facial features were accurate but the hair was not. It was black that it seemed to be more of smooth and slick tie, which didn’t look right for him.

I suggested to the dream that his hair was braided, as I was trying to get 18-Volt into his realistic, African-American appearance. The dream listened and took the idea of braiding as clumping sections of his hair together. Once the holographic image was constructed, 18-Volt actually physically faded into the scene. His appearance was accurate but he was wearing different clothes. He was wearing what seemed to be a male equivalent of my high school winter uniform. He wore a fawn shirt; a navy blue collared blazer, smoky blue dress pants and brown shoes. The dream also made his skin look flawless and he himself very youthful, like he was actually 18 for once.

After giving me a brief hug, he spoke to me but I forgot what he said; he was asking me questions about what we were to do back at the building. He then walked back with me; although he was not seen to be touching me, the dream seemed to give me the physical illusion as if he was, like I could feel his arm around me as I was making my way back.

I seemed to get ahead of 18-Volt and the sensation was no longer there. I was lost and so was trying to find a way to get back to our area. I entered what seemed to be the attic of the massive house and there was SP from my primary school. She was friendly in this dream whereas in real life, she was a bully. When I spoke to her, she informed me that she was in the fourth grade division and that for me and 18-Volt to get back to prep, we had to jump down the balcony to head downstairs.

18-Volt had then come up behind me again, catching up, and this time, he offered me his hand. After making gestures as so to prepare me for the drop and instructing me on what to do, he tightened his grip on my hand and jumped off the ledge with me; we were now back down in our area.

After checking out the area, 18-Volt followed me into the common dining room, suggesting that we have something to eat. There seemed to be allocations for each seat and so I was slightly concerned, there was supposed to be one person in between me and 18-Volt, yet no one else was in the room. As this was the case, I explained that this allocation was for the university workshops and because no one was around, 18-Volt and I just sat next to each other and started taking some food from the plate, which was just a small bread roll and butter. 18-Volt started to have a friendly talk about things but I forgot what it was again. That’s all I can remember for this dream.
