Dream No. 372 - Where We Are From

I don't remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, there was some event going with the whole family but I forgot what it was specifically. My parents were having a hard time with my my dad's parents but once again, I have forgotten what the argument was about. I left the room but it wasn't because I wanted to avoid anything.

I ended up walking into this random empty space like a deserted mall and I had other people with me. Apparently were all a team, with me being the leader, and we were going to cook some food of our own to bring back to my family gathering. As we were all walking across the room, I said to the people something like, “So first we're going to cook the entrée. Then after that, we're going to do the hardest meal of all. And finally, we'll finish with desert. This looked like some sort of Asian mall and also, I was hinting that we were going to be making Asian food. Also along the way, I stated that Dreamy WB was going to come and help us prepare the food as well.

Me and the other women entered another room which was supposedly a lounge room. A woman was waiting for us on the couch in there and I remember it was the woman from the dream where Sly and Murray were imprisoned on the plane... Gabby. Although I called her Gabby, apparently her name was spelt in this dream as “Gebe”. Once we all meet up, I suggested that we take a trip to see where everyone in the room came from.

I have forgotten completely where the first woman was from. After we spoke about where they were from, the dream scene would actually transition to us visiting the country! So then it was Gebe's turn and the dream stated that she originally came from Tanzania but then I didn't think that could be possible because she looked Spanish or Greek to me. So the the scene changed and projected a map of lower Africa. I was talking but I wasn't in this dream scene. No matter what I did, I was scrolling on the device I was on and I couldn't find Tanzania.

It took a while but after a tiresome effort, I did find Tanzania and once I tapped on it, the scene went to me physically being there. When I was there, the sky was a very light yellow and it was smoky. I was standing by myself on what looked to me like a helicopter pad. The cement was running on endlessly for miles and around it was dirty water with derelict skyscrapers in the distance, almost like the region was some sort of empty military, war-torn province... Nothing like what I would expect Tanzania to look like in real life.

The dream then went back to us all in the lounge room and next, it was time to show the team where I was from. So the dream indeed went to Melbourne and we were all on a bus. “Ah! There's Southbank and there's the casino”. The bus was then driving up the street to what I noticed to be the Southern Cross Station. After passing the Southern Cross Station, I spoke to the group on the bus and the following is an interesting concept.

Apparently we ended up on a bus with KW (a TAFE teacher) and the other TAFE students. I said to the women that neither KW or the students could hear us and that although we were in the seats with them, they were oblivious to our presence. We would only merge our awareness if I tapped KW on the back. Eventually, we drove down the streets of the docklands and so I pointed out to the women with excitement, “That's Pitcher Partners! The place I'll be doing my work experience at close to the end of the year”.

Once again, the scene was then with us back in the living room next to the kitchen. Now Dreamy WB wasn't with us but we were going to go to her place next, which was Ethiopia. I quickly changed my mind though and said to the team, “Actually, let's go only when we need her”. But then again, I was indecisive and said we would go now. As the dream scene was slowly transitioning into Ethiopia, I woke up.
