Last night I had many dreams that I remembered in the night, but this morning I have forgotten most of them. Popeye is on behind me, andthat stupid song he sings is really hurting my brain, and my recall.

I recall walking along Barton Springs Road, by the DiamondShamrock. Water was falling somewhere, from something. I remember a drainageditch, and the water was green. People had been drinking from it, I believe. The water was reported to be good by someone but it was having a bad effect onpeople. I was convinced that something needed to be done about it.

I remember being at Republic Park, and I had walked to thepark from the old court house across the street. I had a time of lucidity herewhen I decided to climb one of the trees, I think it was oak. As I climbed Iknew I was dreaming because (1) I could climb the tree with ease, (2) the barkdid not hurt my hands, and (3) when I finally jumped down from a high branchthe landing didn’t hurt at all. I failed to do a RC of any kind, but I alreadyknew I was dreaming. I called up to my son’s friend, Seamus, who had alsoclimbed the tree, and told him to jump down. I told him it would be okay andwouldn’t hurt because this was a dream. He jumped and was fine.

I had a feeling that I had already jumped before, which alsocontributed to my feeling of being safe in the tree.

Walking away from the tree I approached the street and mydaughter was there, with one of her friends. Seamus either morphed into my sonor disappeared and was replaced by my son. It happened behind me so I’m notsure which, I just know Seamus wasn’t there any longer, and my son was. Mydaughter’s friend was likely the same age as her but I knew my son liked thegirl, so I willed her to be older, about 10 years old instead of 7. She agedand her clothes changed slightly, and I sat down behind her and watched my sonsmiling. I don’t know why he liked her as she was so young (though I had triedto help him out by making her older) but I figured who was I to stop him fromliking someone? They talked for a little while and I sat and looked around, noticing we were in a classroom and sitting on stools, a blackboard behind myson. The wall was colorful with papers stapled all over it, undoubtedlycreations of children who used the classroom.
