Tonight was certainly a better night. I had two dreams that were interesting. The first one took place in some strange setting and the other at a gym and band room. Breaking In I am on some island with a few people. I don't really recall what we were supposed to be doing though. It was in the afternoon, and the sun shone brightly on the grassy hills. I don't recall any trees, just grass. One of the hills is positioned in the center of a tiny gulf, making a crescent shape of water. The hill then turns into a mountain and erosion eats away at the ground making ravines. I am still exploring the area with those few people, but then the dream "plot" changes. The hill is now a mine in which people have been working at. Making use of the emptied part of the mines, a building resides on it with underground rooms. I can't recall specifics of the topside building, but I know it spanned from one side of the hill to another. I was standing near the building with the others when the ground suddenly began to shake. Some sort of cave-in had occurred, but nobody really paid mind to it. Details get fuzzy, but I recall going down into the mines and examining all the damage, but then coming back up for some reason. The group I was with, included the owner of the building. Nobody on the island cared for him, but suspected him as the cause of the cave-in. He'd left to head to town, or some grocery store, and the party I was in dispersed. All but two other people stayed with me, and we had decided to go into his house to see what it might have been that could have caused the collapse. We then made our way down through the mines and came across his entrance to his living space. The building was like some underground laboratory, with long glass corridors crossing a large chasms and with many rooms in between. Once again, recall gets fuzzy, but I remember that the owner made sure to keep the rooms as secure as possible. Each door had a unique lock that took all three of us to crack, it we didn't, it would either kill us or alert the owner and we didn't want to take a chance finding out which one. Some rooms had robot prototypes in them, others had genetic experiments, all of which were benign when we examined them. After crossing the large chasm through the corridor, we turned left and then made a right, bringing us to his room. I don't know what was in this room sadly, just that we found what we were looking for. At this time, one person was on guard to make sure we weren't caught, and the other was helping me explore the room. We stumbled across an extra opening that led to the surface and all decided to go up, but that's where my dream recall ends. Jazz Band This one is relatively short. I was in my school's band room getting ready for some concert. My teacher told everyone that there were some new instruments that came in. One of them was a weird piano looking instrument. I got on it and started playing a song, and everyone joined in. Nothing as exciting happened in this dream though. Conclusion Well, my recall has been getting better. I notice that a recurring theme seems to be settings that take place underground, and have futuristic technology to them. Overall though, I think the reduction of stress in my life has contributed most to my increase in recall. Happy dreaming!
Just a short fragment. I was with a few people making my way through some building in search of someone, or something. I came to a white room after what I think was a firefight with either security guards or some mercenary force only to find what I had been searching for. It was fragmented, near death, whatever it was, and I had come to rescue it. I stared up at the ceiling after examining the thing and saw a thick bluish-purple liquid splotching and seeping out of the foam tiles. I acquainted the liquid as the blood of some creature that was part of whatever I fought before. I wish I remembered more of this dream and just exactly what it was that I rescued along with how it went all down. Hopefully it was my dream recall. Well, happy dreaming everyone else!
I remember being on a plantation and inside a gym. I also remember in another dream I was stung by a few bees. Nothing else really sticks out. I've also been sick these past few days with a cold, so I don't think that has really been helping my recall out. Hope you all have better luck than I do though!
It was only a fragment, but it's better than nothing at this point. I was in a cave that was lit up by a few slits in it's wall that let in sunlight that seemed to indicate that it was around the afternoon outside. Inside there were a few cave creatures such as spiders and crabs. I was down there with somebody, but I can't recall who. Like I said, it's a start. I still haven't completely figured out what has really been causing my decline in recall, but I still believe it's stress since that's the only problem I have right now.
Wow, I can't seem to recall a single thing at all. Not even on the weekends it would seem I can't recall anything. I need to figure out what's been blocking me from dreaming so I can find a solution. Whether it be stress, diet, or something else entirely, all I know is that it needs to be fixed. Now then, hope everyone has better luck than me! Happy Dreaming! :I
Well, still can't remember anything. Stress has really been getting to me, but hopefully I'll have a dream tonight.
Well, still faced with practically no recall. The only thing I remember is something about a city, family members, and stress. I guess it's a start, but not much of one. Oh well, hope you all have better luck than me at least!
I remember pretty much nothing these past 2 weeks. I suppose I'm going through some dry-spell right now, but I figured it's best to make post anyways as to keep the mentality of remembering my dreams in general. Stress from school hasn't helped either, but hey, it is what it is.
Can't remember anything last night sadly. Oh well, tonight should be better! Happy dreaming!
Mining Station I am at this futuristic mining outpost similar to the asteroid I had a dream on previously. The outpost has a metallic wall and a ramp leading into the inside. The outpost itself is positioned between jagged mountains, save for an opening where it was built on. Across from the ramp is a shallow stream with normal looking water. The ground is a mix between a light tan and an orange. The outpost has no buildings, just a giant shaft that extends to the bottom of a mine that has ramps built down the levels. I can't recall anything besides the scenery though. The Tome I am with a band of dream characters as we are running across what might be the front of the outpost. I remember having some objective, but nothing sticks out. We go down a ravine and find an entrance to a dark cavernous area. As we approached the inside, the caverns gave way to more carved out rooms. I soon lost my party and started sneaking around the rooms, for there were creatures in there too. In one of the bigger rooms, there stood a few large creatures unaware of my presence. There were structures lined up in an assembly line fashion that only stood at less than half the height of the room, but it could have just been a mess hall with tables for I know. I remember feeling an ominous presence as I explored. The only light I could go off of was some strange orange-red ambient light. I slipped into a small, well-lit room and found a tome. I can only recall that the title had something in relation to the undead. I flipped through a few pages and saw some spell for banishing spirits. Figuring it might be useful, I carried it with me and wandered back into the mess hall. Still unaware of my presence, I went back into another room. Once in there, I started perusing every nook and cranny. The inside was lit by a blue light and had a bookshelf and a bed. I then began to investigate where the light was coming from and found that it was from a trapped spirit. After unintentionally releasing it, it began to attack me thinking I was it captor. Using that banishing spell, I was able to get rid of it and made my way out of the chambers as fast as I could. I remember waking up after that. Conclusion I certainly have a bunch of sci-fi/fantasy dreams. I still wonder if they have any relation to each other and if there really was an objective I had. I remember a few fragments of me running out to a parking lot and meeting up with some people at night, but nothing clear enough to remember. Well, happy dreaming!
The Prairie I am a military commander who oversees a squad underneath me. I run around a prairie-like landscape in an effort to find and fight some encroaching enemy troops. My troops have full body suits that are futuristic in design, which contrasts the open hills and forest of the surround. As we walk, we see no one in site. Could there be an ambush waiting for us? Perhaps, but only time will tell. As we move further past some trees, we arrive at what appears to be a small town. Only a few small buildings, which are scattered, gives us the impression that it was an outpost at some point long ago, thus we continue to march forward. The Portal Something glimmers off in the distance. Arousing our curiosity, we begin to make our way to it. At the same time, we get our weapons ready in case of an ambush. We notice that it's a gateway to another place, where exactly is unknown. It has a fantasy design, but uses sci-fi materials. I then proceed with my troops to go through. What lies on the other side is a new world. The new lands have jutting mountains and an overall arid climate. I remember looking about and seeing everything in an orange-ish color, though I don't know if it was because of a setting sun, or because we moved into a hellish location. The dream begins to distort as we finally find the enemies. I can't quite remember what the enemies looked like, or if they were even human, just that the dream happened to change in the middle of a fight. Backyard I'm in a backyard of a random house, doing nothing in particular. I am viewing myself in a third person perspective. The scene is very standard and nothing special sticks out. My grandparents happen to be over and we're all outside. Oddly, I remember that I'm working on lucid dreaming and decide to lay on the porch to try and achieve one. Nothing happens, and I don't do a reality check when I had failed. I thought to myself that I couldn't focus for one, and I could still see even though I closed my eyes, which was why I couldn't fall asleep and have a lucid dream. The dream ended after that. Conclusion I think this was a fairly consistent dream, but had a strange ending. Plus, I seem to be focusing more on lucid dreaming as a whole more in my actual dreams. Still though, I need to work on reality checks more since dream recall isn't much of a problem, except for those times I get a dry spell. Oh well. Happy Dreaming!

Can't recall a darned dream last night. Oh well, I hope those who are reading this have a better time at night than me. Happy Dreaming!
This was more of a fragment than anything else, but I recall a few details. There was a community that I was living in, and started talking with a few of the neighbors. They were an old couple and reminisced about when they first moved to this asteroid colony that we resided on. The said that before some overpass they built, there was an underground road populated with businesses that led to the residential sector. However, once that overpass was built, the businesses closed up and became it became a black market. After that story, I decided to go investigate myself, but I forgot what I found. The place was built in what looked like an abandoned mineshaft that went far down. But that's where my recall ends. In another dream I remember making breakfast. I was cooking bacon, eggs, and pancakes. I remember that I burnt the bacon, and undercooked both the eggs and pancakes and was met with extreme disappointment from myself and my family. I'm certainly enjoying my dreams more than anything else. I think dreams like these are always a nice highlight of the night even if they are only fragments. Happy Dreaming!

I had an odd dream last night of going to a restaurant with some friends. It started out with me talking them at some sort of fancy restaurant in the afternoon. While I can't remember specifics, I remember getting smacked upside the head by one of my friends because I said something that might have offended the owners. After we ate our lunch, I recall a voice saying "Departing" and the rooms started split up and move. Each room transformed itself into a passenger car on a train and linked together before finally moving to wherever it was going. A bunch of children with chaperons happened to be placed in the car with us. One of my friends complained because the kids were getting too rowdy, but nobody did anything. That's when I remember waking up. Pretty interesting dream if you ask me. I think waking up earlier is making it easier to remember dreams, though I wonder if I might get used to it and fall into a dry spell. Hopefully not. Happy Dreaming everyone!
Last night I had a long dream. Overall, the dream maintained some consistency despite the "plot" changing. All of it took place within one city and at night. Vacation and Store I was traveling to some city at night for some vacation time and nobody else accompanied me on my trip. I remember passing by a waterfall and some sort of futuristic bridge that looked all shiny and pretty looking. Everything blurs, but I do remember arriving, then leaving the hotel to go explore the city. The setting of the dream seemed to have been in the future because of the design of the buildings and roads with the combination of neon lighting. I then wandered into the lesser part of the city that had our modern day design. I went to some shopping plaza that had old block buildings that just looked like they were out of shape. I went into some random store to see if there was anything in there, but I tripped a security alarm. The store had other people in it, including the manager, and the staff then quickly tried to disable the security alarm so that it wouldn't bother people. After they disabled it, the dream took more of a sci-fi plot to it, as a woman came screaming in saying there were UFOs in the sky. Everyone then rushed out to investigate including me, and saw a bunch of green and blue lights zipping across the sky. I then went with a couple dream characters to go follow the lights, but as we were chasing them, I remember the dream became unstable. Off to find Peanut Brittle After we got to a certain area, the dream became less of finding the UFOs and more about finding a store that sells peanut brittle. The dream characters stayed the same, and it was still nighttime out, just the overall feel of it was different. We went down a road to find drive-thru that sells the stuff and came across a normal looking fast-food joint. After one of the dream characters ordered, we pulled up only to find that they had run out and the machine that made peanut brittle broke down. I remember the lady was shrugging and had a sad look on her face. It was then agreed upon that we would go to the nearby mall to go get some. The Mall I don't remember what the mall itself looked like from the outside, but I remember the inside vividly. As my group went into a very small lobby like room with dark carpeting and three elevators, we pressed the button to call the elevator and waited. I remember there was an emergency stairway in case of a fire. The elevator that we called had bronze plated walls and red carpet on the floor. We pushed for a floor and waited as others got onto the elevator too. Though, the dream character who wanted to peanut brittle in the first place was a prestigious man and as the elevator was going up, we heard people talking about making sure he was happy on the intercom. As we got to whatever floor that was pressed, I remember coming out to a futuristic mall that had very bright whites and reds with some blues thrown in there. As I approached the railing and looked down, I saw many floors that were connected by large, open stairs that only had a few steps in them. I was told that we should split up to try and find it faster and I had some sort of memory where I had encountered this mall before. I had a few flashbacks to some previous dream that I had that took place in a mall. After that realization, I woke up. Conclusion I think my recall was better last night than any night before. WILDs and WBTBs haven't been doing much, so maybe I should try an incubated dream to see how far that may get me.
