Missed opportunity

Muddled at church
I'm at the adult Sunday School. A guy out of rotation is teaching, though he's still seated in his normal spot. I try to start a conversation with him, then realize he's still trying to teach, so I sit and listen. When he's done, I want to make a copy of his Bible on the page it's at. I try, then realize I've managed to make a copy of just the cover, and I'm embarrassed. I also realize I've bent his Bible's spine the wrong way - I'm horrified, since I don't want to damage it, and I'm also confused, since how could I have copied the cover if it's bent this way? I unfold it, resolved to copy it correctly this time, but the page has changed. I can't imagine how I managed to change the page just by bending the cover back, but I know it's different, though I can't remember what it's actually supposed to be on. At this point I think I'm trying to do this for the church web site, so I'm further embarrassed that I won't be able to get the website right.

By this time, a couple of other people are talking to him. I notice that even though he and his wife have only been expecting for a few weeks that he's already showing. I get a brief moment of "something's not right", but it quickly passes.


Wrong turn
I'm driving, about to turn onto an Interstate ramp. I make the left, then realize the ramp isn't there, that I'm in a U-turn only spot. I'm very confused, but decide I must not have been paying attention and turned left too early. I make another U-turn, resolving to pay attention and make sure I reach the ramp light before turning.


A game
I'm playing a 2d game with a flying main character. I'm currently in a large, roughly circular room fighting a boss, an insect of some sort. He's green with a long thin tail that moves and attacks very quickly. I have to dart in, attack, and dart away before he can strike with his tail. As I'm flying around fighting him in his boss room, pulsing jewels keep appearing. I make sure to collect every one I come across. After I finish the boss fight, I continue on through similar levels, finding more jewels, always heading generally up. Eventually I get a sort of cut scene back at HQ where a man and woman in lab coats tell me they've got something new for me.
