    Nonlucid: I was having Josh issues again. I remember walking up to him and giving in to something we were discussing. I was about to resign to making out, when I suddenly woke up on the floor! Danny had just come to my rescue, and scooped me up and we started making out. I remember thinking that I hope Danny doesn't find out about Josh O_O. Then I remembered I needed to get something in the kitchen, but it was the kitchen at my parents' house. Then I woke up for real. (NOTE: Josh was from about 8 years ago, and I'm 100% faithful to Danny. That's dream logic for ya.)

    I blame Xanous for this FA because we were just discussing them yesterday. Everytime I talk to him about something, it seems to happen in my very next dream. DAMN YOU, PSYCHIC TWIN!!

      LOL! I was just telling Alyzarin in another comment thread how you guys can't stop cross-contaminating each other's dream lives.

      I remembered the ring girl, but geez... Xanous, you got that nasty DEILD demon too? Ohh wait, I remember... didn't he snuggle up to you and like spoon you or something horrific like that? You two Wonder Twins crack me up.

      Something held me from behind once but I was able to make it leave. Usually it likes to straddle me and hold my hand above my head while it screams. I assume it was female. I probably shouldn't think about this during my WBTB!

      So how do we infect positive things on each other?

      I have been infected with lots of positive schemata from reading dream journals. If I read something that I really like (such as the Xanous bicycle pantomime trick, the Alyzarin phase, the OpheliaBlue Magic False Awakening Detector, etc.) I try to just really dwell on what they must have felt like, how cool they would be, and imagine myself doing them. Sort of visualize the whole process and make it all feel very happy and rewarding. (When I read something I don't want, I don't obsess about it too much one way or the other, but I do try to move on to something else pretty quick!)

      Having said all of that, based on my results last night, you have passed your "Galantamine Fail Cooties" to me!! (Just kidding, I think I more or less get what happened... I'll PM you a little later.)

      Good point! I have gained a lot of positive from others. Rarely does the bad leak in

      Haha, Wonder Twins.

      Maybe Xanous and I like a little of that morbid stuff, who knows. In a dream I had earlier this morning, I almost fell trap into a FA again, but I caught it just in time. Still, I guess no one is 100% immune to FAs.

      It's a funny thing. I find confidence to be a huge boost for lucid dreaming, but whenever I start feeling like I'm a "100 percenter" at anything dream-related, I usually get a huge kick in the ass. Examples: "I never get zero dream recall anymore" or "I always wake naturally for my WBTB at the right time" or most painfully recent: "If I beat insomnia with galantamine, I'm guaranteed a lucid."

      The crucial thing is that you catch the vast majority of them, which is awesome. In false awakenings, it's so easy to fall into that mode where I'll just believe any damn thing. The scenery is so freaking convincing... but when you learn to beat them (as you have have, for the most part), that's a huge boost in lucidity.

      You know, I bet most people who work at lucid dreaming don't ever become super arrogant. How could they, with their subconsciouses always taking them down a notch every time they get too proud of themselves

      I guess it's a healthy balance in the end.

      OMG every time I say I'm awesome at some aspect my SubC puts the smack down! So annoying. I do think almost all of lucid dreaming is about balance. Find that happy medium and you're golden. Anyone agree?
